I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was dark outside. It was probably 5:30 pm. I answered the phone call.

"Hello?" I said in a tired voice.

"Hi Vanessa, it's me, Jordan. I'm moving tomorrow just to let you know." Jordan exclaimed.

I sat up in my bed. "You can't go! It's to early!" I frowned. But I knew Jordan couldn't see it. "Where are you moving to?" I live in Pekin,Illinois. 

"I'm moving to Toluca,Illinois." Jordan replied.

"That's far away! That's an hour away!" I whined.

"It's okay, Vanessa. We're going to be all right."

"No, I'm not! Your moving. I'm sad that you are." Tears sprung to my eyes.

Jordan must've heard me cry because he said: "Don't worry." "Please."

I sighed. "I got to go. Bye"

"Bye." Jordan said.

I turned off my phone. There was too much to think about.

"Honey? Are you alright? Dinners ready!" Mom called.

"I'm not hungry." I called back.

I lied down on my bed. I put a reminder on my phone to wake up at 6:00 am so I could go to Jordan's house. I fell asleep.

Beep! Beep! Beep! 

My phone was ringing, waking me up. I rubbed my eyes. I looked at my phone. It said the time was 6:10 am.

 I jumped out of bed and ran downstairs to eat breakfast. I grabbed an apple. 

"Why does everything have to be like this?" I grumbled.

I took a bite of my apple and headed out the door. I was running as fast as I could to Jordan's house. I finally reached his house after 10 minutes of running. 

Ding-dong! I ringed the doorbell.
