Butterflies filled my stomach. I can't believe he kissed me!!! The Winter Dance is coming up this week on Tuesday. It's so close! I wonder if he'll ask me to dance with him. I think so.

I ran to Mom and Dad.

"What took you so long?" Ashley asked.

"Nothing," I shrugged.

I wanted to see Jordan again. I can call him! And text him! I decided I'll text him.

Vanessa: Hey Jordan.

Butterflies were in my stomach. I waited 2 minutes, 3 minutes. He finally replied.

Jordan: Hi Vanessa.

Vanessa: I wanted to talk to you about something.

Vanessa: So about the kiss...

Vanessa: Do you like me? Like will you ask me to the dance?

I'm afraid of what he'll say. 

Jordan: Yes I like you. And will you go to the Winter Dance with me?

I squealed in my head. Yes Jordan I'll go, I'll go!

Vanessa: Yes, I'll go. But I gtg, bye!!!

Jordan: Bye!
