Me, Mom, Dad, and Ashley walked to the Ferris wheel.

Mom looked at it. "Looks big honey."

"It's fine Mom." I said.

"How much people?" A guy asked.

"4 people." Dad replied.

"Dad? I have to text someone, I'll be right back." I said.

"OK, but don't take too long or you'll miss the ride."

I walked over to a bench and sat down. I started to text Miranda.

Vanessa: Hey Miranda! What are you up to? I'm at the Carnival right now. I'm going to be riding a Ferris wheel, right about now. Gtg!

Miranda: Nice!I'm currently laying in my bed. I'm still sick. Well, have fun on your Ferris wheel ride!

I put my phone in my pocket and walked back to the Ferris wheel. Mom and Dad were already in one of the little carts.

"C'mon Vanessa!" Ashley exclaimed, waving a hand.

I walked over to the cart and climbed in. Ashley did the same.

"Please buckle up and enjoy the ride." A person said into the microphone.

The Ferris wheel started to go up, up, up. I gripped the handle, my knuckles were turning white.

"Don't be such a baby." Ashley playfully slapped me.

"I'm not!" I said in disgust.
