A Huge Mixup

Days have passed making it close to the halfway mark of the semester but feelings seem to be at an all time high.

Coco has been doing her absolute best to get (Y/n) alone 9 times out of 10 he's shopping with her, which is her trying to get him alone but Velvet is always with them or she runs into other people she doesn't want anything to do with.

Velvet normally helps him out with cooking for her team every now and then. She mainly enjoys his company when he's ready and he's not too far behind her. But she's always shy whenever she tries to talk to him, even about the whole Cardin situation that happened earlier in the year she hasn't found a "proper" way to thank him.

Nora just loves his pancakes and cooking also the fact that he's actually really strong and can deal with her being so hyperactive and energetic 24/7. But I'm sure everyone knows she has a huge thing for Ren.

Not much can be said about Pyrrha, they've spared a couple of times (Y/n) has beaten her because his fighting style is a perfect counter for hers. But she's madly in love with Jaune, however (Y/n) did have quite the thing for her when he was younger I mean Pyrrha was every guys dream girl back then.

Ruby loves (Y/n) as a friend at least, whenever he has to watch over her team he always helps her out with homework and gets the perfect amount of cookies to fill her up and hot coco... she loves cookies and hot coco. Not only that but he knows a lot about weapons so he recommends parts for Crescent Rose. However she doesn't know her feelings for the Butler just yet or does she?

Yang.. super flirtatious even more than Coco, and it doesn't help because she has a great body. Her flirtatiousness is what helps her with most guys but it doesn't seem to work on (Y/n), she probably thinks he's a robot but he wants something genuine, a real showcase of love since.

Weiss Schnee.. the heiress, she adores his mannerism loves how he treats everyone and can hold himself accountable during desperate times. He understands Weiss a little better than most because of daddy issues but that's about it, they couldn't be more apart but there's a distant thought in the back of her head that says she wants (Y/n) as her Knight in shining armor.

Last but not least "Blake Belladonna" the famous Faunus she stands out to him because she's a Faunus like him and has been through unimaginable things. Her body is astonishing especially her legs but (Y/n) mainly looks at her amber eyes they stand out to him the most aside from her unhealthy addiction to books and tuna. But she's quiet, strong minded, keeps to herself, etc. if (Y/n) had a dream girl Blake would be it.

-With (Y/n)-

(Y/n) could be seen in the gym working out while everyone is asleep since it's so early in the morning keeping his mind occupied. The girls he's taken care of have been getting a lot more... comfortable and talkative about their feelings. It was confusing to the young man but he still gave them his personal opinion on the matter.

He wouldn't believe it but every time he talked to team RWBY or Nora and Pyrrha, hell even Coco and Velvet seems to all be saying the same thing about a particular person.

(Y/n) stopped his workout to look himself in the mirror.

(Y/n): Could the person be me..? There's no way... but it wouldn't be a bad thing if it was me right...?

Or at least that's what he told himself in the back of his head.

The door swung open to see a very hot Blake Belladonna in black shorts, black and purple sports bra with her hair in a pony tail. That is more than enough to get a man going.

(Y/n): Ms. Belladonna is everything alright-

Blake: I told you for the last time call me Blake.. please.

(Y/n): Apologies Blake, is everything alright?

Blake sighed, she couldn't sleep and it's been hard on her because of the White Fang being in Vale.

(Y/n): It's about the White Fang isn't it Blake?

Blake: How could you tell?

(Y/n): Your lack of sleep ma'am and if I was a betting man then I guess the whole mystery crush thing is also weighing heavy on your mind as well?

She nodded leaning against the wall sliding down.

Blake: Nothing gets past you huh? You know (Y/n) at first we were skeptical about having a Butler but now we love it, you're great. You listen to us, care for us, you do your job just right.

Unbeknownst the Butler formed an emotional attachment to everyone even if he didn't want to admit it. He walked over and sat down next to Blake as she laid her head on his shoulder.

She was exhausted probably just working off minimal hours of sleep and energy drinks and coffee.

Blake: (Y/n).. what's the best way to ask someone out? Or to know if they like you?

(Y/n): I gave Mr. Arc similar advice to help himself with Ms. Schnee luckily it got him a date I just don't know how it went. But considering you're a beautiful woman yourself I don't believe it'll be to hard Ms. Bella-

She shot a glare.

(Y/n): Blake.. s-sorry.

Blake softened her glare this is one of the moments where he lets his guard down there's emotion and feelings in his eyes and words he doesn't sound like a robot.

(Y/n): My advice is take the leap Blake, don't miss out the chance on love.

Blake: What if they reject me or it's a stupid decision in the end?

(Y/n): Well if they reject you then it's their fault because they miss out on someone who's as great as you are Blake. We're people as well it's apart of our nature to make stupid decisions along the road to get us to the right path or person.

Blake's eyes never left his, his words seemed true and as if it came from experience, even if he didn't know it (Y/n) wanted to be the person she takes the leap for, well any of the girls he's been taking care of so far.

(Y/n): However that's what I would recommend to you girls and guys about that certain situation. If you don't mind I will make you some tea since you're up this early.

Blake: No No it's okay, I appreciate the time we just had together and when it's not everyone or when the entire group is out looking for me.

This caused (Y/n) to chuckle

(Y/n): Of course.

His scroll went off with a few messages from his Father, he decides to ignore it but ends up getting a call from Ozpin.

(Y/n): Hello Professor Ozpin?

Ozpin: Mr. Makino please make your way to my office, we need to have a chat.

(Y/n): Understood.

-Call ends-

(Y/n): Sorry Ms. Belladonna I shall return in a moment, Professor Ozpin needs to see me for a second.

He left the gym going straight to his office.

-Ozpin's Office-

Ozpin: Ahh Mr. Makino right on time, how have you been?

(Y/n): Just fine sir, no complaints aside from earlier in the year when I had to teach that guy a lesson for messing with Faunus.

Ozpin: That's wonderful news, I am here just to inform you on some information some good some bad.

(Y/n): What's the issue sir?

Ozpin: One, the school dance is coming up and I think you should go.

(Y/n): Ah professor I don't think that's-

Ozpin: There are plenty of girls available to ask, you're not afraid are you?

(Y/n) N-No sir it's just you sprung this up on me out of nowhere, it's my job to protect the teams I've been assigned and no fun-

Ozpin: I'm well aware of your job you've been doing really well, fantastic actually that I think you deserve to have fun.

(Y/n): S-Sir I-I can't.

Ozpin: And what if the girls go? Aren't you going to accompany them as well?

(Y/n): Of course but-

Ozpin: See you're going anyway, I know your life hasn't been easy I doubt it was dreadful but this is an opportunity to relax and enjoy yourself besides I'm sure you've heard the rumors around of them liking someone.

(Y/n)'s mind started racing as his face became a light pink. This is an opportunity for (Y/n) to get the love he deserves, since neither his mother nor father gave it to him.

Ozpin: However if you're really not set on going then I have a job for you and you alone, it's a high caliber mission I believe you can finish.

(Y/n): I understand.

Ozpin: Oh I forgot to mention the dance is in two days time, have fun.

(Y/n): 'Nice on the timing curse you Ozpin'

(Y/n) has been gone for a few hours trying to find something that each person likes, he couldn't decide on whom to ask so why not everyone and hope on luck. But he couldn't find any of the teams anywhere, and the big was starting to her heavy, even for (Y/n).

Walking around some more he made it to the lunchroom to see Team RWBY

Ruby's eyes went wide with a huge smile on her face, she used her semblance to instantly hug (Y/n) making him drop the bag.

Weiss: Good evening (Y/n).

(Y/n): Good evening Ms. Schnee and everyone else have i missed anything.

Ruby: Actually yeah! We have some news to tell you but what's in this big bag?

She tried to unzip it but her hand got popped by one of (Y/n)'s gloves which made her let go of it.

(Y/n): Of course Ms. Rose after I hear this news you've mentioned.

Blake: Well-

Ruby: You know the dance that's coming up in 2 days?!

(Y/n): Yeah, Professor Ozpin just informed me about it earlier today.

Yang: And we've been telling you about a certain guy we've been having feelings for?

(Y/n) nodded as he now felt butterflies in his stomach and in his chest.

Ruby: Team SSSN asked us to go with them! And we said YES!! HAHA!!

*Crack*

Random student: Ahhh sorry sorry!! Dropped a glass plate! Ignore me!

(Y/n): Team SSSN asked you 4 to accompany them to the dance?

Blake: Yeah, we took your advice to heart and it worked. Like you said earlier take the leap and it ended in a positive way.

(Y/n): That is true I do remember saying that, I'm glad you remembered.

She smiled at him as he looked at all of them but the sinking feeling in his chest got wider and wider.

Ruby: Even Coco and Velvet are going! Yatsuhashi and Fox asked them and they said yes! This is going to be fun!!!

(Y/n): I do..wish all of you a good time at this event.

His voice cracked which was a first, it was him fighting that sensation in his throat that's telling him to scream and shout.

Blake: Are you alrig-

(Y/n): Just parched *clears throat* I need to be excused.

Blake: Are you-

(Y/n): I'm fine Blake.

He left the cafeteria dragging the bag along the floor his hair covering his eyes while he walking through the halls. He's been holding so many emotions in not crying not wanting to feel or show that side of him.. who would've thought these girls would be able to do it.

He bumped into someone knocking them against the wall.

Cardin: Aye what the hell- oh it's you. Why don't you just-

(Y/n): Move.

Cardin: What?

(Y/n): Move before I send you back home in a body bag.

Cardin: What makes you-

Next thing he knows he was up against the wall with (Y/n)'s hand wrapped around his throat.

(Y/n): I will kill you..

Cardin: *Choking*

(Y//n) dropped the giant bully letting him run along scared and in a hurry. He left Beacon that dark stormy night to clear his head in the streets of Vale.

As he strolled along some thugs surrounded the poor butler wanting whatever he had only for them to be beaten down and humiliated.

(Y/n): Is that all you have for me..? How disappointing.

???: How about I give you a fair match?

A woman voice came from the shadows as she emerged with a red dress with flame-like ember eyes and spear in hand.

(Y/n)'s eyes glowed as his nails sharpened and ears pointed up then he got into his fighting stance.

The woman smirked licking her lips to see the boy with tears streaming down his face but they held malicious intent.

???: There it is... that's the sign of a broken man..
