Lunch time at Westville High was the only time I ever had peace in high school.
Yes, aside from the horrible smell of cafeteria food and teenager sweat .It was a peaceful time for me.

All I had to do is stick my head so hard in a book that I lost all sense of my surroundings. It was a peaceful time for me , a time I could be alone.

That was until this particular day.
I was in the middle of Anne Karinina by Leo Tolsloy, when I heard a slam on the table so hard that I flinched and dropped my book.

I looked up to see Karin Gutshler and a couple other of her friends. Her and I were friends up until middle school when she joined the cheerleading team and decided it would be more fun to make a fool out of me than to be my friend.

She looked down at me and sneered.
"What are you sitting at our table, rodent?"

"I've been sitting here since freshman year and not once have I seen any of you sit here. "I said looking around at the faces of my classmates I've known since kindergarten and that's when I notice an unfamiliar face.

" Well, we're sitting here now there's not enough room at our old table now that Parker is sitting with us." She smiled back at the new face that I'm now assuming is Parker.
"Come on, Addison just move. Don't make it more difficult on yourself no one her like already do you want us to make your life worse if you don't do as we say?" Camille Fetters spoke up giving a very disgusting look.

"Oh, my life is a living hell going to this school so if you threaten me it better be a good one."

I didn't even look up when she let out a scream. Like all stuck up rich girls do when they don't get there way.

"You're going to regret you're decision, Addison Bell." Camille said matter of fact like.
And then they went back to there table.

I let out a sigh and continued reading when an unfamiliar voice spoke and startled me.
"Anne Karinina, huh?"

I peered over my book at the new face Parker.
"Good book but such a heartbreaker."

His green eyes glowed as he gave me a genuine smile.
"Well, see ya."

And then he walked away.

Who is this guy anyways?
