This is why i dont socialize

READ THIS A/N IF YOU READ 'DON'T LET ME BE GONE' AND YOU COMPLAINED TO ME ABOUT QUINN X EVAN LAST CHAPTER
ITS VERY IMPORTANT

LETS GET ONE THING FUCKING STRAIGHT (which I am not)

THIS. IS. MY. BOOK.

I. CHOOSE. WHAT. HAPPENS. IN. IT.

I don't like getting tons of hate just cause you guys don't like Quinn and Evan being together in this story. I'm very fucking fragile and I don't handle hate like that very well

I'm sorry, I thought you guys would like it, obviously I was EXTREMELY wrong

I'm trying to fix my mistake, try and work with me here

I'm not trying to sound like a bitch here, but I just can't take the amount of hate I was getting bc of Quinn x Evan, please stop

I love this story. And I also love Revan. But I need to choose between being proud of my book and making sure everyone here likes my book.  I want to be happy with my book but I also want you guys to like it

I don't know what to do. I understand I made a mistake and that you guys don't like it, but again, I thought I was doing something you guys would like and I know I was doing something that made me happy

BUT I GOTTA EXPLAIN AS TO WHY REVAN WOULD BE KINDA HARD TO WORK INTO THIS BOOK. IT. JUST. DOESNT. WORK. OUT.

REMUS IS ALREADY IN HIS MID 20s AND DROPPED OUT OF COLLEGE
EVAN IS 17 AND IS ONLY A SENIOR

DO YOU SEE THAT AGE GAP?! I'm not super comfortable with that

Trust me, I love Revan. I created the fucking ship myself.

BUT EVAN DID NOT EXIST YET WHEN I STARTED THIS BOOK THEREFORE I DIDN'T KEEP REMUS IN HIGH SCHOOL FOR A LOVE INTEREST. IF EVAN HAD EXISTED WHEN I BEGAN THIS BOOK, I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE ALL THIS

I HAVE A WAY I COULD FIX EVERYTHING BUT THAT WOULD MEAN DELETING THE LAST CHAPTER AND REWRITING FUCKING EVERYTHING. I really don't wanna do that

I understand I'm being a bitch here but you guys really hurt me with all that hate for Quinn x Evan

I like the idea of that ship. I'm sorry. I understand it was a bad idea in hindsight. I was being impulsive and wrote it and published it before I could think through it all for a few days. I'm trying to fix it now

I'm sorry

TRIGGER WARNING : swearing, blood, physical fighting, derogatory terms

Damien POV
"Well, well, well,"  Purred the guy in the leather jacket. "If it isn't the psycho and the twitch bitch."

Quinn shoved Evan behind him, but I could see he was terrified. Who are these three people? Why are Quinn and Evan so scared of them?

"Go away Nathan," Quinn told leather jacket guy. Hmm...Nathan must be his name.

"Oh c'mon faggots," Said punk guy. "We just wanna talk."

"Leave us alone!" Evan yelled at them.

"Now why would we do that?" Asked punk guy. "We wouldn't be able to have any fun than."

"Well your version of fun is hitting us and making fun of us," Quinn said, glaring at the three. "So we don't find it very fun."

"Who cares if you're having fun?" Laughed the guy in black and red. "It's fun for us."

"Exactly," Nathan said in a sickly sweet tone. "Me, Jack, and Ben just wanna have some fun."

He started walking towards Quinn and Evan. I stood up quickly, leaning against a tree. I pulled out my pocket knife and snapped it open, getting everyone's attention.

I noticed pretty quickly how everyone either flinched away or looked at me in disgust when they saw the scars going down my face. Welp, they flipped my bitch switch by doing that.

"I wouldn't do that if I were you." I told him, twirling the knife in my hands.

"Why?" Asked punk guy. "Ya gonna cut us or something?"

"Let's not make me do something we'll all regret," I told him in response.

"You can't threaten us," Said red and black guy.

"Then you three can't threaten them," I told them, pointing my knife at Quinn and Evan.

"Don't tell me what to do," Hissed Nathan. "Besides, you look like one of us, why don't you help us bother these snowflakes?"

"I'm not a crackhead douche like you," I growled, knowing my punk clothing probably did make me look threatening.

Leather jacket with a giant snake patch. Beanie that says 'lies'. Ripped up black skinny jeans. Black and yellow Nirvana shirt. Scuffed up combat boots. Studded belt. Black and yellow, snake print, fingerless gloves. Smudged eyeliner. Chipped black finger nail polish.

"How dare you call me that!" Yelled punk guy, running towards me. I sidestepped easily, letting him run straight into the tree I was leaning against.

"Missed me," I purred, enjoying as adrenaline filled me. I haven't been in a good fist fight since I left New Dawn.

These guys messed up deciding to pick on Quinn and Evan today. And they made even more of a mistake trying to pick a fight with me.

I'm extremely experienced and I have no problem with making these three bleed.

"Listen snake face," Nathan said, making my blood boil with anger at the nickname. "We don't want any trouble."

"Well, I guess you shouldn't have acted like a douche to these two then." I told him with a shrug.

"Why are you protecting a bunch of faggots you don't even know?" Asked black and red guy.  "Besides, the one is a fucking psycho."

"Well I'm a gay psycho too, so I take offense to that,"  I told them, watching as their faces twisted with disdain.

"Freak,"  Punk guy hissed at me.

"Takes one to know one,"  I said with a little laugh.

He lunged at me again, arms outstretched.  I punched him with the handle of my knife as soon as he got within a foot of me.

He stumbled backwards, now with a blood nose.

"For the record,"  I told him.  "You attacked me first."  He glared at me, wiping blood off his face.

I heard someone coming up behind me.  I turned quickly, grabbing him bye the neck and putting my knife against his cheek.

It was Nathan.  I couldn't help but smirk. He looked at me in fear and anger. I could hear the other two shifting around, but I could tell they were too scared to try anything.

"How about," I purred. "I let you go, and you three run home like the scared little dogs you are."

"And if we don't?" He challenged. My gaze hardened on him. I tightened my grip on his neck, but not enough to leave bruises.

"I don't think you're in the position to be challenging me right now," I growled, pressing the tip of my knife into his skin. A little bead of blood appeared.

"Fine," He breathed out. "We'll leave."

"Now what do you say to these two?" I asked, motioning to Evan and Quinn. "All three of you."

"Sorry," The all mumbled. I smiled and let go of Nathan. He fell to the ground but quickly scrambled off and ran into the forest. His two friends following him quickly.

I turned to Quinn and Evan who were staring at me in shock.

"Sorry about all that,"  I mumbled, quickly putting my pocket knife away.  "Didn't mean to scare you.  I just can't stand bullies."

"Thank you so much!"  Evan squealed, quickly bolting around Quinn and pulling me into a tight hug.

"Oh uh, your welcome."  I told him sheepishly. I blushed heavily as he pulled away from me and gave me an adorable smile.

"You didn't have to do that," Quinn told me. "But thank you anyway. No one has ever tried to help and actually manage to scare off those three."

"Yeah, I'm new here," I told them, laughing slightly. "So I have no clue who those three were and what that's going to do to my reputation."

"Oh did you just move here?"  Evan asked.

"Something like that,"  I mumbled.  No way in hell am I gonna tell two super cute boys that I spent my entire life in a fucking asylum.

"I'm Quinn Corotion," Quinn told me that. "If you didn't already know. But I think you do because you got angry when I ran into that Pierce kid in the hall yesterday."

"I do know." I told him. "And yeah, sorry about that. Yesterday was kinda a weird day for me."

"I'm Evan Lakewood."  Evan told me with a smile.  "Which you probably didn't know."

"I didn't,"  I lied.  "I'm Damien Fey."

"Oooo that's a cool name,"  Evan told me with wide eyes.

"Thanks,"  I mumbled, a blush coming to my face.  "Are you two together?"  I couldn't help but ask.

They both blushed and looked at each other.

"Kinda, kinda not, I don't know,"  Quinn mumbled, confusion filled me.

"We've been best friends for almost six years,"  Evan said.  "We decided to try dating about a week ago.  But it's kinda weird."

"Yeah, maybe if we work on it a bit more it might work,"  Quinn explained.  "But I think we are better just as best friends."

"Agreed,"  Evan said.  "But it's better to try then to never try at all."

"Well that's weird, if I being honest."  I told them.

"Yeah, we know,"  Quinn said with a little laugh.  "If one of us found someone else though, I don't think that'd be much of an issue."

That's good to know.  So I have some chance at least.  With maybe one of them.  Or maybe a poly relationship could happen?

Of course that's when my phone went off.  All three of us jumped.

"Fuck, sorry,"  I mumbled, pulling my phone out of my pocket.  It was Virgil.

He wants me to meet him at some cafe in town.  Just to hang out.  He said Roman was going to be there though.

"I gotta go,"  I told them.  I scribbled down my phone number on a tiny scrap of paper and tossed it to Quinn.

"Text me or something,"  I told them.  "It'd be fun to hang out sometime."

Without waiting for an answer, I turned and headed back towards the park.

Quinn POV
Evan and I watched, slightly in shock, as Damien walked away. He actually defended us from Nathan, Jack, and Ben.

"He's hot," Evan breathed out once Damien was out of earshot.

"He really is," I agreed before I could think about what I was saying.

Evan and I looked at each other, both of us blushing upon making eye contact.

Some hot punk guy saves us from our bullies, admits that he's gay, and is super fucking hot. And there's something hot about the troubled bad boy vibe he gives off. What's not to fall head over heels for?

"What are we going to do?" Asked Evan, sitting down on the rock. "He probably thinks we're dating each other and now won't do anything even if he likes us."

"To be fair," I laughed. "We are dating."

"But...he's so pretty," Evan whined.

"More than me?" I said in mock offense. The two of us laughed. "Well, to be fair, he really is."

"I wonder how he got that scar," Evan wondered aloud.

"Makes him look really cool though," I said. "But I would like to know the backstory."

"I think we one hundred percent need to text or call him or something and hang out with him again," Evan said.

"Absolutely." I agreed.
