~Time Skip to June~

Sha'Tanya pov

We were supposed to move a week after graduation but the others wanted us to stay until June, so we can go to pride together. So Claudia and I agreed, we are going to the parade today and moving tomorrow. Right now we're all (as in me, Claud, Trin, Tasha, Angel, Niya, Zariyah, Carli, Marley, and Zara) in Trinity's house getting ready. "Ugggh, Trinity how much longer, the parade starts in like 10 minutes" I groan. Trinity is finishing up Claudia's makeup and it's taking forever. "Hold your tits, Damn. Now we're finished, Wala!" she says having Claudia turn around. "You look fantastic" I comment while giving her a quick kiss which she returns. Claudia then pulls away and says, "Now we can leave". We all get up and go to our separate cars in pairs of 2.

Once we park at the parade, all we see is rainbows and it's beautiful. We started walking around with big smiles on our faces as random people came up to us and welcomed us to our first pride. Someone then got on the speakers and said "Ok guys, gals, and non-binary pals. the parade is officially starting. So for all you newcomers just walk over to the main road and the march will begin". People started cheering and we joined in, everyone then started walking to the main road and we followed. "Aren't you guys excited?" Trinity says with a big smile. "Of course, who wouldn't be" Zariyah replies, and we all nod in agreement. 

When we get there we start marching and people are waving all different types of pride flags. I look over at Claudia and hold her hands and she smiles at me.  Carli, Marley, and Zara are holding hands, while Trinity and Tasha just stand close to each other. People in front of us suddenly stop walking and we can hear booing. I tap the man in front of us that is wearing a rainbow tank top, "What's going on" I ask. He turns around and says "It's fucking homophobes they do this every year". I look back at the others and we push past some people and to the front.

At the front there are a bunch of people with signs saying these like "Being gay is a sin" or "Find god" and a bunch of other bullshit. One of them also has a mic and is chanting "Find God or got to hell".  Suddenly Trinity grabs Tasha's hand and pulls her to the front of the homophobes they look at each other for a second and before Tasha can ask what's going on Trinity grabs her face and kisses her. We all start cheering while the homophobes look away in disgust. I smile and grab Claudia's hand and we stand next to them and start kissing. When we pull away we see that a lot of different LGBTQ+ couples are standing here kissing. 

After a few minutes the assholes finally pack up their stuff and leave, and suddenly we're all being surrounded by almost everyone at the parade. "You guys are amazing! You made all of the homophobes leave. Thank you!" One of them says. "Oh it was no biggy just showing those fuckers who's month it is" Trinity says while having an arm around Tasha's shoulders. "Now let's finish this pride!" I shout and everyone starts cheering again. For the next few hours we party and dance, while having a great time with so many amazing people.

~Time Skip a few hours~

Claudia pov

Tanya and I finished saying our goodbyes to everyone and we get into the car. "So you ready to head home and load the car? Then we can start are drive to L.A" Tanya says starting the car. "A-actually I want to say goodbye to one more person, well people" I say looking out the window while fidgeting with my clothes. "Who? We already say bye to everyone" Tanya questions. I bite my lip a little and look away. Tanya grabs my chin and makes me face her, "What did I say about doing that?" She says in that low and sexy voice I love. But right now isn't the time to get horny. "I-i know. I want to say bye to my parents, I know they probably don't care but I want to let them know and say bye to Genesis" I say. Tanya lets out a small sigh, "If that's what you want to do Claudia then ok. I respect your decisions". I give her a small smile "Thank you".  Tanya says "Your welcome" and we do a small kiss. Then Tanya started driving.

I feel the car stop and see that we are at my parent's house. I heat Tanya say "Are you sure about this? I can take us home if you want". I just shake my head, "No I want to do this". "Do you want me to come with you?" Tanya asks again. "No offense but I think you being there will make it worse" I tell her. "If your not back in 15 minutes I'm coming, cuz I don't want you to get hurt again". I nod my head and step out fo the car. It's only 7:30 p.m so they should be up. I knock on the door and wait a few seconds before Genesis opens the door, I almost didn't recognize her. She's a bit taller and her hair is straight instead of her usual curls. "Claudia" She says happily while hugging me. I laugh a bit and hug her back, "It's been too long" I say. "I missed you, I hate that mom and dad kicked you out," Genesis says.

"Genesis, who's that at the door?" I hear my father says. I pull away from the hug and my smile falls as my mom and dad stand there looking at me with emotionless faces. "H-hi" I say. "What are you doing here, Claudia?" my Father says coldly. "First off you guys missed my graduation" I say. "Our daughter doesn't graduate for another 6 years" my mother answers. That made my heart hurt and tears well up in my eyes. "What is wrong with you, that's my sister and your daughter. Why do you guys hate her so much, all you say is that she's a sinner, doesn't everyone sin? What's the difference with Claudia, I miss my sister" Genesis rants while hugging me. "Genesis. This is a grown-up conversation. Go inside now" My father says sternly. "No! Let her stay I just wanted to tell you guys some news" I quickly say. My mom rolls her eyes "fine". 

"You probably won't care since you hate me for falling in love but I'm moving to L.A. Tasha and I already found an apartment and a college. We're leaving tomorrow" I say waiting for a reaction. Genesis starts to tear up and I bring her into a hug as she starts crying. "There was no need to tell us this, our daughter is almost in middle school" My father says as he and my mother walk back inside the house and close the door. "I-i don't w-want you to go!" Genesis sobs. "Ssh it's ok, don't worry about me we can still text and call and I'll visit when I can ok?" I ask. Genesis lets go of the hug and nods her head as I wipe her tears away. "I love you" I say and Genesis smiles and says "I love you too". We do one more hug and I walk back to Tanya's car.

I tell her what happened as we drive, she gives me some comfort and it helps me feel better. Tanya and I then go back to our house and put all of the boxes in the car, we then begin our drive to L.A. We're ready to begin our new life and start college together.
