A/N: next chapter, legs hurt like hell, and hope you guys like this a little more.

It's passed two days and Applejack was able to get a hold of herself for what happen with Granny Smith and Rainbow Dash's dad. Twilight as Sunset Shimmer did everything they did to make her feel better. Luckily it worked. Rainbow didn't do anything cause she was afraid she would make it more worse.
They were outside for the day before they moved on to their next assignment. They had a slides how after being outside but were waiting on Shining Seeker's signal.
The girls had their own things to do together. Applejack and Pinkie Pie were looking at each flower, Sunset Shimmer and Sonata were throwing a ball to each other real bored, and Rainbow Dash remain by herself looking into her notebook of songs she use to write.
She missed playing those songs. She missed playing her guitar. She missed everything she use to do. Her life.
"Hey jock." Twilight then say next to her surprising her to death.
"Don't do that egghead. You scared the daylights out of me." She said.
"Sorry. Whatcha doing?"
"Looking at my songs. What I use to play before."
Twilight nodded and tried reading them.
It was quiet between them two. Rainbow felt she had no need to talk after what happen two days ago. She was a little embarrassed.
"Can I ask you something?" Twilight asked.
"You just did."
Twilight gave a funny look as it made Rainbow laugh a little. "Okay smarty pants. I was wondering, what was your dad's deal at Family Therapy?"
Rainbow only stayed there not moving. She was surprised Twilight would ask this. Some egghead.
She sighed and let it out. "He doesn't like the while homosexual thing. He already had to deal with that with my mom,and he doesn't want to deal with it with me."
"Your mom?"
"Yeah. She loved my dad. But one day she was caught kissing another woman in the bedroom. She enjoyed it. But she tried to explain to my dad it was a mistake and beg for forgiveness. But he refused and kicked her out."
Twilight felt a little sad hearing this. She never imagine a girl like Rainbow Dash to be dealing with this kind of stuff.
"Because I am a homosexual, he wants me to be straight and run his dreams. Being an employer. But I want to work on computers. I rather continue my sports, but he refused."
"Oh my... Rainbow I'm real sorry. I would ever suspect someone like you to go through that."
"Whatever. When I get out of here, he'll regret ever putting me in here. I guess he only said that stuff is because he lost a client. That's always the excuse."
Twilight tried to think of something to make Rainbow Dash feel a little better. She looked at her notebook full of songs and smiled. "Hey how do your songs go?"
Rainbow gave her a look that was a little confused. One minute there talking about Family Therapy arguments, and now Twilight wonders what her songs were like. Then again, no one has ever ask what her song were like.
"Well, there's one song I love the most." She turn the pages and found it. "It's call 'Awesome as I wanna be'. "
She then made a beat in her mouth and began to sing.
"Awesome as I wanna be,
Awesome as I wanna be,
First you see me riding on a Sonic boom,"
Twilight seems to get the song in her head. So she began to sing with Rainbow.
"Got my guitar shredding up my latest tune,
There is nothing you can do to beat me,
I'm so good that you can't defeat me,"
Rainbow smiled of how pretty Twilight sounds when she's singing.
"Yeah I'm awesome, take caution,
Watch out for me I'm awesome as I wanna be,
I'm awesome, take caution,
Watch out for me I'm awesome as I wanna be."
They both looked at each other and just fell in love with each other's voice and eyes. Twilight never realized how beautiful Rainbow's magenta eyes were. They were the kind of pink she's always wanted.
She soon found herself leaning towards Rainbow with her eyes closed. Rainbow had her eyes closed to leaning in and puckering her lips. She pushed her chest away making Rainbow open her eyes. She blushed pink. So did Dash.
"Well that song is pretty good." She said.
"Yeah. It's awesome." She began to stand up and was about to head out.
Twilight immediately grabbed Rainbow's hand wanting her to stay but she pulled back.
"You're gonna get written up for that." She said smiling at the purple girl. Then she walked away.
Twilight felt a little sad she left. But she was right. She would get written for touching her hand.
Just then, Shining Seeker called for the girls to come in and watch their slides show before their next assignment.
"And now this one is little miss Patches, living the life of a great house mom helping her children and husband when returned home." She said showing the picture.
The girls looked pretty bored. Can't blame them.
Twilight and Rainbow Dash say next to each other looking real tired. Rainbow yawned of boredom. Twilight then felt something on her arm. She looked and saw Rainbow's light blue hand holding her purple arm. She couldn't help but smile feeling a little better. She never thought see Rainbow smile to.
For these past two weeks, Twilight and Rainbow Dash haw been close to each other than ever before. They were never separate unless Shining Seeker wanted to talk to one another. Twilight couldn't believe it, but she was certainly happy being with her. There was something special about Dash that she couldn't explain. It was the best two weeks of her life in True Directions.
It was night time. And the girls were just heading off to bed. But them Shining Seeker appear outside and called "Twilight Sparkle!"
Twilight looked and saw the old woman as she found her.
"You're brother is on the line."
Before she knew it, Twilight had the phone up against her ear listening to we big brother.
"Glad yore actually liking it there Twiliy." Shining Armor said on the phone.
"Yeah. I guess it's not that bad." She said.
"I hope you're not mad at us Twilight." She heard Cadence's voice.
"I'm not. To be honest, I'm glad you guys brought me here."
"You meet any new friends?"
"Actually yeah. And there's one I believe is my best friend."
"Hey, you should ask her where she lives so you guys can spend time together." Shining Armor said.
"I think I will."
There was a little silence and Shining Armor spoke "Hey listen, we're sorry about not talking to you about it. We can't blame ya for being mad."
"It's okay. Just next time tell me before y'all just put me in something."
"Can do."
"We'll call ya later Twilight." Cadence said. "Get a good night sleep."
"Can do. Night guys."
She hung up and went back to her cabin seeing each girl sleep in there. She liked having these girls, including Pinkie Pie and Sonata, as her friends. For once in her life, she doesn't feel alone.
