"I HATE YOU!"She had screamed. Even now it rings in my ears. Here I am in professor Birtch's lab, and I can't get her out of my mine. Her blue eyes without pupils, her pink and white color scheme, her little ears and tail. Silver, the most beautiful pokemon ever, and I ruined my only chance. I was usually calm, but in battle I was ruthless. I know the fate that awaits me, I hear the whispers of the doctors and scientists.

A simple practice battle. Silver and I clashed, I felt my pupils dilate, and I lost control, falling in a trance. The scream of the fairy type woke me to my senses, and I stood horrified at the sight I saw. The fairy, looking at my through one eye, the other swollen shut, blood gushing from a few scratches.

"No..." I whispered, stepping forward to help. Midnight leaped in front of me and snapped savagely.

"Please let me help!" I begged. Midnight hesitated a moment before silver's piercing shriek.

"I HATE YOU!"

The memory pierced my heart. I loved- no. I love her. And look what I did.... I waited patiently for the humans to come. June was the first come. She had grown into a beautiful young woman, a pokemon researcher now. She wiped away tears as she hugged me and stroked me. I layed my head on her shoulder, trying to show her it was fine, how this was meant to be. This seemed to make her cry more, soaking my neck fur. Eventually it stopped, and we quietly made our way to a white room filled with needles. I calmly lay down, waiting for my end... and then I felt something. A disaster was coming I could feel it. I felt the needle pierce my skin, and I started falling into a black, sleep. Just as I said goodbye to the world, a familiar shriek pierced the air.

"SHADOW! No wake up I need you!" Silver had cone, she had jumped onto the table and started shaking me with a paw, calling out desperately. With the last of my strength, I lifted my head and licked her cheek. I was just glad, that was the last thing I saw. Her beautiful face.
