RAW AFTER TLC

“Hey sweetie!” I smiled as Lucy’s face lit up on my screen as I sat backstage waiting for Raw to begin.

“Happy Birthday angel! Daddy's so sorry he can't be with you” I hated the fact that I couldn’t be with her on her birthday but luckily with the time difference once I flew down after Raw I’d make it to Pensacola just before dinner .

I wasn’t going to tell her though I wanted to surprise her.
“Will you be home soon ?” she smiled as she held her monkey that Mia had given her.

She hadn't let it go since the moment she got it.

I saw Jenna moving in the background as she was seated in the kitchen.

“I hope so I miss you so much!”

I hadn’t been home in a couple weeks well not home I didn’t have a home once Mia left ,she was my home.

I guess that’s why I was afraid to visit Lucy as she always asked about Mia and I didn’t know what to tell her at all.

“I miss you too daddy, you have to come before all my cake is up!” she exclaimed as she looked past me as she must've been looking at Jenna making it.

“mmm is it chocolate cake?” I smiled and she nodded.

“Mommy and…” she quickly looked up again and scrunched her nose up in confusion which left me confused.

“But..” she protested still not looking at me.

“Only mommy made my cake last night no one else”

“Okaaaaay..” I looked at her and saw she was upset about something but figured I would ignore it.

“Mommy's being mean” I laughed .

“Why what did she do?”

“Nothing… Guess whose here daddy?” she smiled and I couldn’t help but laugh.

“Who sweetie?”

“Me!” I saw Seth behind her and I was confused as I knew Seth would be there and it wasn’t a surprise.

“But uncle Seeeeeth not you its…” she looked at him and pleaded.

“Come on daddy has to work you can call him later again” Seth smiled at her and I couldn’t help but notice how strange they were all acting but it was probably just me.

I mean I had hardly gotten much sleep especially with what went down with Paul last night.

Her family went crazy on me asking why I did what I did but it was between him and I.

“Yeah sweetie I’ll call you soon after  ! Love you…”

“Love you too daddy!” she leaned in and kissed the screen.

I was on my way over to my old house which was now just Jenna and Lucy’s house.

I was so happy I had won the title even though it was tough.

I get why Vince was mad at me I had beaten up Paul pretty badly but for some reason I had taken out all the months of frustrations out on him which was wrong but I just did.

I mean he did deserve some of it but not all...

I shouldn’t have Superman punched Vince I immediately regretted it and I knew Lucy them would be watching but she was young and most likely thought it was all part of it.

  I had immediately left the arena to avoid him as tonight was the first time I had seen him since before Mia left.
They didn't know though I didn't know how to tell them however Paul did.

I grabbed my luggage and threw my title over my shoulders. I didn’t bother knocking as I opened the door and dropped my bag next to it and walked in and the house was silent.

I prayed they weren’t out cause then my surprise wouldn’t be working.

I heard voices in the backyard and figured they might be there and as I made it to the kitchen door I stopped in my tracks.

“Noooo my gift is better because its purple!” I heard her laugh and I immediately knew it was her.

“Hey that’s unfair she only likes purple because of your hair when she first met you so you influenced her as she was young!” I heard Seth.

“Don’t fight, I like yours too Uncle Seth!” I heard Lucy giggle.

“But she loves miiiiine” I heard Mia tease and I couldn’t help but smile.

“Okay guys lets do the cake so we can eat and…Seth!” I heard Jenna.

“What ? She was asking for it I had to show her how much better my gift was” he laughed and I decided I should just open the door.

“NOOOO!” I heard Lucy and saw Seth pick her up as a shield as Mia held a water gun while she wore a shorts and a tank top with her purple hair half wet and half straight.

She was running after them and none of them had noticed I was there as Jenna had a gun as well, aimed at Seth.

Mia turned to Jenna, “He is being such a baby he started it first now his..”

Jenna looked past her at me and she froze which caused Mia to stop and I was still staring at the back of her purple hair when I felt like a bucket of water had been sprayed on me.

When I managed to use a dry spot on my sweater which had not been wet I opened my eyes slowly and saw Mia standing in front of me in shock as one hand held the gun while the other was covering her mouth.

“I'm so sorry I thought it was Seth!” she blurted out and before I could respond I saw Lucy running up to me and I picked her up and hugged her.

“Uhm I should go…” I heard Mia as I was busy talking to Lucy.

“But Aunty Mi you promised you would watch me blow out the candles of the cake you and mommy made”

Lucy turned and that’s when I realized why they were all acting so weirdly it was because she was here and they didn’t want me to know.

“Okay sweetie” she nodded and turned and Seth handed her and Jenna towels.

“Hey Roman, I thought you wouldn’t make it” Seth hugged me .

“Yeah I wanted it to be a surprise” I shrugged as I saw Mia and Lucy putting eight candles on her cake which was a simple round cake covered in chocolate icing along with M & Ms on.

“You need to hurry up baby girl” I chuckled and I knew she was rolling her eyes even though I couldn’t see her .

“Ouch!” I felt her tug on my hair.

“Its not like its my fault that you demanded I trim your hair today of all days Tarzan!” I smiled up at her as she appeared in front of me and straddled my lap.

“Well we don’t want me looking horrible you know?”

“Yes cause all attention will be on you!” she shook her head as she slowly began trimming my little goatee if you could even call it that.

“Done!” she smiled and gave me a quick peck on my lips.

I immediately pulled her back and forced my tongue into her mouth and I heard her moan into my lips.

My hands slowly ran up her bare thighs as her summer dress had ridden up.

“We have to go” she whispered as I trailed kisses down her neck.

"I know” I sighed as I let her go and she left the room to go downstairs and meet up with John and Nikki.

“You know you didn’t have to make her a cake” I smiled as Mia grabbed seven candles off the counter.

“I know there will probably be a big one but she loves my chocolate cake so I'm still taking it so she can have it whenever she likes” she shrugged and I smiled and pulled her into a hug.

“I really don’t know how I managed to deserve you!” she rolled her eyes and then kissed my cheek.

“Come on guys! Unless you want Lucy’s party to begin without you there!” I heard John calling and I laughed and gripped her hand.

“Daddy!” I snapped out of my thoughts and I heard Lucy’s voice.

“Yes sweetie?”

“We want to blow out my candles” she smiled and I realized they were all sitting down on the patio and I took the only seat that was open which was next to Mia.

Her eyes were fixed on Lucy as we began singing.

“Okay come on blow out your candles !” Jenna smiled and she did as we took pictures.

“Yaaaaay!” Mia laughed and kissed her on her cheek.

“I forgot the knife to cut it I’ll be right back, take the candles out so long okay?” she nodded as I watched Mia get up and I immediately followed her.

“What are you doing here Mia?” she sighed and turned to face me.

“Even though we aren’t together anymore doesn’t mean she doesn’t matter to me. For her past three birthdays I have made her the chocolate cake no matter what and I wasn’t going to not do it this time” she said firmly and shrugged.

“I'm just going to cut the cake and eat with her and then I’ll leave” she turned and searched through the drawers and I walked up behind her.

“You know I don’t want that, we need to talk Mia…”

“There’s nothing to talk about Roman. I cheated on you as you saw and we agreed to end things” she whispered and I turned her to face me.

“You agreed not me…”

"Roman please I don’t want to go back there…”
“Then why don't you tell me the real reason you gave up on us? ”

"I cheated on you.."

"And I told you I didn't care.." even though I suspected it and all the proof was there.. when she said it, it seemed like she was lying or maybe its what I hoped.

She looked away and I saw her eyes glistening and I immediately regretted it, this was Lucy’s day and I was just concerned about me.

“I'm sorry” I wanted to pull her into my arms but she pulled back and I frowned.

I turned and walked back out.

Mia walked out a couple minutes later with the knife and cut the cake.

Seth gave me the eye and I followed him further into the yard as they enjoyed the cake.

“You okay man?” I simply sighed as they all knew Mia had left me but no one knew why and I was going to keep it that way.

“Is she staying here?” he looked behind him to make sure Mia couldn’t hear I guess.

“Nah she came to Florida yesterday afternoon I think John flew her in from wherever she was cause I picked her up at his place and she spent the night here. Lucy was really happy she made dinner and then the three of them made cakes.”

“How long have you known she was here?” he rolled his eyes at me and I felt like shit as she was busy hanging out with everyone while the last month was even worse than the rest not knowing what was going on with her.

“I didn’t until John called me, he didn’t even know but Nikki told him to. Apparently she pitched up there yesterday like I said before that’s all I know man. She seems weird though..”

“Weird?” he nodded .

“I mean she is normal as always but there’s moments where she almost seems on guard I don’t know how to describe it. But even yesterday.. we wanted to go out for dinner and she immediately refused to . I guess she doesn’t want the papz to see her”

I nodded slowly .

“Daddy!” I heard Lucy and saw her holding the title with a big smile and I smiled back and walked over to her and immediately noticed Mia wasn’t there.

“You won it!”

“For you sweetie!” I smiled and picked her up.
"Where's Aunty Mi?" I asked as Jenna was clearing up.

"She had to go daddy.." Her tone held sadness and Jenna took her from me .

"She's waiting out front.." I immediately ran threw the house to get her as I wasn't sure when I would see her again.

"Mia!" I breath out and she turned back to look at me just as the car service pulled up.

She turned away again and walked towards it but I tugged on her arm.

"Just stay for a bit longer..Luc.." she stared between me and the driver .

"I can't Roman... please just let me go" she pleaded and I saw the desperation in her eyes so I did...

She ran over to the car and it sped off and for some reason I felt like she knew the guy driving.

I was missing something but I didn't know what....
