Gerald version
After my high school reunion I said why not me and Dylan go out somewhere without the kids. Yes now we're both parents but that doesn't mean we're just leaving them for good it's just a week and two days were going to be gone. For European shows and spending some time with Dylan.

A day later were in Germany. I was getting ready to perform. Dylan was in the phone talking with ma to check up on the kids. Then I went to her. She hangs up the phone "yes ger."
"You're gonna see me perform?" I gave her a little smirk "Then we can just be you and me, walking these nice place like we did when we were here the first time."
"Yes, I love when you perform. I'm always there for you, in the side of back stage or front row." She kisses me "go get them tiger. Do you're thing." I finished my performance late. Dylan was there with me the whole time. We left to the hotel.

The next morning we went to these nice and towns from the city. We admired everything. Then my friend Tristan took a photo of us. "Bro chill, we're just trying to have a nice and peaceful time here no attention. Bj is literally in the zone." Bj was wondering around.
"G you gotta check it out, you and Dylan came out great." He shows us the photo. "Imma send this to you." He sends it to me.
"Baby." I called Dylan "check this out." She looks at it. "You did go the way I made your outfit today."
"Why not?" She smiled. We went to a mini market. She was looking around for some snacks since we were going to watch a movie. She's into like marvel stuff and romantic comedy movies. I think she said 'Crazy Rich Asians' or 'Avengers: Endgame' but I had a gift for her. Yes we did celebrate her birthday with everyone at Disneyland the last couple weeks. After she was done with getting the snacks she put them in the basket. I was in front of her. She hugs me from the back. "I love you ger. What movie you wanna watch in the room tonight?"
"Whatever you want to see. We have all night and tomorrow." The guys heard me.
"What are y'all watching and thanks for the invite." Bj said "let me guess it's a romantic movie. And Gerald's going to cry."
"Man bj shut up. Nah it's between Endgame or Crazy Rich Asians."
"Oooh watch Endgame. It's the best movie and it will for sure make you cry." We looked at Tristan "not that I'm sayin I did cried during the movie you know. I meant to say it's a good movie and since Gerald is an emotional crier than that would work."
"We don't know yet. We're just getting the snacks for tonight." Dylan hugs me. "Maybe it's for sure Endgame. What do you think ger?"
"Anything for you my wife." Bj and Tristan left outside. I paid for the snacks. We leave the mini market.

Me and Dylan left back to the hotel room to watch Endgame. Tristan wasn't lying. It did made me cry. Not spoiling anything from the movie but shit it was good Dylan tear up a little bit. We watched Crazy Rich Asians afterwards. It was a funny movie but also romantic. "Best night ever just us in the hotel watching these movies, cuddling up."
"Yup, always like doing this. But it's weird without hearing the kids or having them here in the same bed with us. Suz and Mel would be in the middle of us, Ashton and Ryland would be in the middle of the bed and Hayden would be almost in the edge of the bed sleeping. Bliss would be in the little stand on the front of the bed."
"What time is it back in the bay?" I get up and check the phone. Dylan see something and I see it. "Ger whats this?"
"Shit, this is your birthday gift that I have for you. I wanted to surprise you."
"Aw ger you didn't have to do this." She opens the box "don't tell me it's jewelry."
"I can't spoil my wife with some jewelry? You look amazing."
"It's just I don't like materialistic things. But if it comes from you from your heart than yes I'll take it baby, thank you." She kisses me. I got her a ring. "G this is beautiful. It has two hearts attached and around it has our kids name and ours."
"I knew you'll like it. And it matches the one with the ring I proposed to you."
"Thank you ger." She hugs me. "So um what movie you want to watch?"
"We should get some rest. Tomorrow it's another day of performing. It sucks how we can't perform like we used to do."
"Yeah I know but soon baby." We turn off the lights. When Dylan was asleep I texted ma to check up on the kids. They were fine but the kids missed us a lot.

Another day of leaving to another state but this time in Greece. It's a nice place. A good place to relax. Dylan loved it. She well we never been here before. We did rest before my up coming performances. But the view was nice and relaxing and best hotel of management booked for us.

A couple days later my next performance. It was the best performance I ever gave. I get an email from Suz school. The father daughter dance is this Saturday I know this is important for Suz. I was walking out of the stage sweating. I see Dylan with a towel. "We gotta go."
"What? Wait slow down." She stops me "what are you talking about? Why should we leave? Is everything okay?"
"We need to be back in the bay."
"Why?! Is it the kids?! Are they okay?!" She was panicking "I called ma and she said they' fine."
"Baby relax. I know us working is driving us crazy." I showed her on my phone "it's Suz. Her dance is this Saturday night. We have to go. This is very important to her. She wants me to go and she wants you to dress her up, do her makeup."
"Oh baby, I know about that. I just didn't want to overwhelm you, since you have a lot and with me about these interviews and more."
"Hey baby, don't worry you know I put our kids first before all of this. We should leave back home and catch the next flight." We left the festival.

Back at the hotel packing our stuff going straight to the airport. I left a note notifying everyone me and Dylan left back to the bay. We're coming home Suz.
