After the whole paparazzi invasion shit that happened before Suz started kindergarten and then finished it, I'm in Vegas, performing at The Palms on a late Sunday night. I know I know I should be at home helping my wife Dylan with preparing Suz, Hayden and Ashton for their first day of school. I never thought the day would come. I'm scared to realize that my little princess is growing up especially my two boys. But I promise them I would be home before Monday morning. And Matt told me about this event before the kids went to school. Thank you Matt I wanted to stay home and you know the shit that has happened lately.

I was at the night club okay it's rare that I'm performing on a Sunday night instead of a Saturday night. I texted Dylan I would be home before dawn or she would take the kids to school. At home now when the three older siblings are at school it's just going to me, Dylan, Ryland and my other princess Mel. So all of us are staying with the little ones before they hit that road soon, in a couple years. Also Milan, Alice and Audrey will be going to the same grade as the twins. Well that's more protect the boys will give them. Crazy how one day they were just in your arms and now they're walking to school. They just grow up so fast.

Matt was telling me I had a press interview but he didn't understand how a: he also has a daughter to take to school the next morning and a wife waiting for you b: i have three kids and a wife at home who are waiting for me and c: if Dylan finds out that I arrived back to the bay late or missed the first day of school of our own kids she would kill me and I wouldn't hear the last word. So the time is ticking. Since I gave my reasonings he understood and said fuck it. I couldn't stop looking at my phone for the time and if Dylan texted me.

I woke up in time after we boarded the plan back to the bay. I had a nightmare how I arrived late and missed the first day of school. I checked the clock it was four thirty in the morning. Two hours and thirty minutes early. The car service came. I just off of the plane grabbed my luggage and bags and walked to the car. Since I had very time of sleep that meant a iced coffee americano with five shots of espresso to get my energy.

I was dropped off first. I said later to Matt since I'll be seeing him later when we drop off our kids to school and we work at the same building.

Since Suz is going to first grade it's very important to her that I'm there and the twins are going to kindergarten it's also important to them that I'm also there. Suz did went to kindergarten but in another school in San Francisco for the time being after the incident with the paparazzi in Paris and here. It was something temporary.

I opened the door and seen the kids clothes and their backpacks that we bought for them for their first day. I went to the master bedroom and seen Dylan sleeping with her phone. I get the phone, charged it before we dropped off the kids to school. I covered her with a blanket. I went straight to the bathroom to take a quick shower. As I finished my shower she woke up "what time did you get here?"
"Not that long ago. But at least I'm here. How the kids?"
She stretched as she was walking up "excited but Suz is the most scared of going to school."
"Don't worry I'll take to her. You get some rest. I don't want you to be sleepy." I kissed her "I'll be up."
"What about you? Are you getting any sleep?"
"I slept on the flight back here and I'm only going to sleep for a hour maybe less."
"Just put an alarm." She sets her alarm at six thirty. As I was changing to some sweats and a shirt for the meantime "it's crazy how our princess is going to first grade. She was just a baby and now she's all grown up."
"Yeah i still do remember. Just in case we feel tired I'll get some iced coffee americano with five espresso shots to give us at least some energy."
"Okay my super man." She kisses me "lets get some rest at least." Eventually we did fall asleep.

At exactly six thirty we woke up. Dylan went to do breakfast for us before school. I got dressed to a normal clothes like a normal day. Then she finished preparing a good and healthy breakfast, she went upstairs to get dress and wake up Suz, Hayden and Ashton. I went to the boys room and helped them get dressed. Dylan had a lunch meal for them the night before when I was gone in Vegas doing my job. The boys wanted to go like me when I perform but their to little for that so I did something similar but nuetral. Something appropriate. Dylan went to Suz room. Suz was in dressed formal but wanted to go exactly like Dylan when she performed with me. Okay we take our kids way to much of our performances. The Ryland and Mel woke up while the other kids were eating breakfast. Dylan was getting them dressed while I was in the kitchen with the older kids. As I seen Suz was pretty scared and nervous. Mia and James called us they would meet us at the school. Then Anthony called Dylan to give us a heads up they're meeting us at the school. Matt calls us after we got the two first calls. With the same thing.

We were set and done with preparing ourselves. Now the big thing. Dylan and I wanted to take some photos. Some with just the kids, some with me and the kids and her with the kids.

Arriving at the school, Suz was still pretty scared as she looked around. It wasn't that far from the house so we went walking but working it was like thirty minutes the drive so one of us has to drive from work to pick up the kids from school. Ma came along to say goodbye to the kids and wish them luck on their first day. Dylan has Ryland and Mel in their stroller. She looked at me so I would know what's up with Suz. Suz sat down in the bench outside of the school. She seen her shoe was untie. I sat next to her "you want me to tie your shoe princess?" She nodded. I tied her shoe so she wouldn't trip "that's better." But she still didn't talk a single word "what's wrong princess? You're scared to go to first grade."
"Yea." She said it quietly and softly "I'm to scared for the big kid school."
"Suz you're now a big kid. Don't be scared of anything. You know why mama isn't scared of anything because she has us. Well she scares us sometimes." She giggles "Princess What im trying to say is that you'll be great in school. You and your brothers are the smartest kids you both proven to us. Yes last year was a scary moment and we had to move but now we're okay. We're safe, you're safe."
"I want to prove to my little sister Mel to not be scared of anything but I'm scared." She has a sad face "what do I do daddy?"
"Don't be scared Suz, you'll make a lot of friends like you made a friend back in San Francisco remember Shyla. I know it's scary that you won't have your brothers with you since they are a year younger than you but you'll see them later. It's just for a couple hours. And it's going to go by fast. I can promise you that."
"Okay." I could see a smile appearing "when you and mama pick me up can we go for ice cream and try to bring bliss?"
"The ice cream yes but bring bliss here we don't know since mama and I will be at work but we'll try before we come and pick you and your brothers up." I kissed her forehead "we'll be here before you go to class but you can't cry okay if you wanna show Mel you're a brave big sister."
"Okay daddy." She hugs me. She grabs my hand as we walked together. Mel gives a last hug to Suz  she knows her big sister is going to school "it's okay Mel I'll be back later so we can play." Mel gets happy. Dylan take a photo before she goes in the gate to her class. Suz walked in to her class before her cousins came. That's my brave princess.

That moment I realize my princess was growing up. Dylan looks at me "are you crying?" I sniffed and wiped off my tears "baby you're crying because Suz is going to her class. That's so cute."
"Um no, not at all. Something went inside my eye. It burns." I played it cool. Okay I was. So? I'm crying because my little girl is growing up. I went to the boys to talk to them "Hayden, Ashton. I know it's scary to be going to school, I've been through this with your sister Suz." I see Matt and Jess arriving at one side of the parking lot of the school with Audrey. Audrey was some what scared. Monroe and Anthony were walking up to the gate where we were standing with Alice, Jax, and Olivia Alice was happy. James and Mia came on the same side with Milan, Jace and Austin. Milan was very shy. But she would feel safe with Hayden and Ashton. "You know your cousins Audrey, Milan and Alice will be in the same grade maybe not in the same class. So your job is to take care of them but also have a lot of friends Okay can you guys promise me you'll take care of them."
"Yes dad. Ashton you know Audrey like to be around you since she trust on you and me. Alice is very friendly so we came have a plan." Hayden told Ashton
"And Milan can be with me since she's shy to be around anyone except for us or me." Ashton explain.
"Those are my boys. Bring it in." I gave them a hug. Dylan wanted a photo with the kids before the bell ringed for class. Monroe and Mia wanted a photo as well. Matt, Anthony, James and myself we were out of the school with our wives seeing when they walked into class safely. We left to work and took the little ones with us. Ma came by to the office place to help us with the little ones.

It was already one. Dylan, Monroe, Mia, Jess, Matt, James, Anthony and myself were waiting for our kids. We seen Milan leaving out with Ashton since they had a class together. Then we seen Alice, Audrey and Hayden leaving with their class together. Okay the boys might not be together but they have at least one of the girls with them. They were happy to see us and they were telling us all at once what they did on their first day. Fifth teen minutes later Suz came out with her class. She seen me and ran towards us. She was so happy to see me, Dylan, her brothers and sister. She talked of what she did in her class and recess how she made new friends. I did promise her ice cream but we couldn't bring bliss. But she understood.

Everyone of us left to get some ice cream before we left our ways.We arrived home. Dylan put Ryland and Mel for a nap. I was in the living room helping Suz, Hayden and Ashton with their homework. Bliss was laying in the ground next to us. "Me and mama are very proud of you guys for being good in school. We know it can be tough but we're here for anything." I see them finishing their last page of their first homework packet. Dylan was preparing food for dinner. Ma came over to help us out while I was helping them with homework.

The first day of school wasn't that bad. I just know now they're growing up.
