Gerald version
Coming back from the European countries was some kind of emergency. But we're back in the bay. On time for the father daughter dance with us crazy cause I never thought I would go to one of those in my life before I had kids. But I guess we'll make the best out of it.

Suz couldn't stop talking about it. She wanted to take her baby sister Mel but she couldn't go since that time is when Mel goes to sleep and she's still a baby. Dylan is staying home with the boys and Mel. Ma and Suz went to go buy the dress and she doesn't want me or Dylan to see it until tomorrow. Ma offered to stay with Dylan and the kids while I'm at the dance with Suz. My little girl is growing up.

Tonight was the night to make it memorable. Dylan was helping me with the tux. "Baby you look nervous." She was putting the flower thing on my pocket "this is our first time to a dance with Suz."
"Yeah I never thought this was going to happen any time soon. One day she was in our arms at the hospital and now she's getting ready for this dance. She's growing up so fast. I'm going to make this memorable. Just like how I wished I would've taken you to my prom and got prom date back when we were in high school."
"I know but look it did happen somehow. But you made our wedding made it special and also your reunion you made it special." She finished fixing my tux "You look handsome baby." She placed a kiss on my cheek. "Our princess is waiting for you." We leave our room and waited in the living room. The boys were in their room. Mel was in her play crib down stairs. "Is Matt, Anthony and James going to the dance?"
"Yeah but the craziest thing they wanted to rent a limousine to take all of us to the dance."
"Yeah the girls told me about that. Which Anthony did do when we were in Europe. So I guess you have a ride now."

"Are you guys ready?" Ma asked. Suz was in the second guest room getting Suz ready. Dylan helped with the hair and makeup.
"Yes!" Dylan said "I want to see how my princess looks like in her dress!"
"Yeah, why do I feel nervous?" As I had the bouquet on my hands. Why am I nervous to see my daughter in her dress?
Ma comes out first then Suz "this is Suz Rae Gillum going to her first dance with her daddy." She was wearing a light pink dress. She shoes were the lightest pink flats with a bow on it. She had Dylan's bag to combine with the dress. Her hair was in curls and the top she had a braid. She had light makeup which she shouldn't be allowed but since it's a dance I kinda allowed it. I was tearing up as I see my daughter. "Aw Gerald you're crying."
"No." I cleared my throat "something went in my eyes."
"How do you like I look daddy?" Suz asks me with a smile on her face.
"You look like a princess." She runs to me as I have her a hug. "We're going to have fun."
"Okay pictures before you guys leave." We all took pictures. Ma said bye to us as she heard Mel waking up. Suz wanted to take a photo with Mel. She took a picture with her sister. Then Anthony called me that they were here. "Okay have fun but not too much fun and be careful. Gerald you take care of her."
"Yes Ma I will. I won't let anyone hurt her." She receives a message from James "Aw look at him and Milan. Imma go outside to take a picture with them." She goes outside. Dylan walked me to the front of the house.

The limousine came out of our driveway. "Yo G! Come on there's a lot of space for you and Suz." Anthony yelled. Dylan was on the door to see us go to the limousine. I kissed her so passionately. "You will see her later and maybe..."
"Tony shut up. God." James laughed as Matt yelled at him "leave him alone he's coming. And you know you can't say those things in front of the kids."
"Have fun." She hugs me "you have the best time of your life with daddy." She hugs Suz. We walked to the limousine. The girls are in the other side of the limousine. They got happy when they seen Suz. We get inside the limo. Ma was walking inside after she was done taking photos with the guys and the girls.
"Nice ride. But don't you think it's to much for this one dance? I thought this was more for prom."
"Not really when I rented this they do any kind of occasions." Anthony said "no I'm not drunk." He looks at the girls "imagine them later when they're all grown up and they go with their dates to prom." Matt, James and myself were looking at him.
"My little girl isn't going nowhere with some damn guy!" James told him "not in my watch."
"Audrey will be going but I'll be there to supervise the dance." Matt said as he drinks a coke.
"I'm with Matt. I do want Suz to go to her prom but not with some guy who needs a background check and I need to give a lecture and a good beat down."
"You know I can always call Mike. Monroe's dad. He was hell of a strict father with her and her sister. Not to mention he's a wrestler and damn he knows how to beat the crap out of anyone and scare them off. He almost did that to me but I got lucky not I got scared. Maybe for they're prom we can tell him to swing by a couple times. And yeah no Alice she's going with me and grandpa mike." Anthony said "you know he's a good person to be around with now. But do you think our wives would think were being crazy and over dramatic about this?" We all agreed. Also Anthony is more of the cocky side from Dylan. And there's no way he didn't get scared of Monroe's father.

We arrived to the school where the dance was taking place. All pink and white balloons. And a big sign that said 'Father Daughter Dance' James went inside with Milan. Matt and Audrey went to take pictures then went inside. Anthony was paranoid but had alice with her and went inside. Suz wanted to take photos to remember this night. Since I'm what six feet tall I had to bend or lower down so I could be in the same height as her. We went inside the school. There was so many decorations. Suz hold my hand since she was a bit shy. We went to the gym where the dance was taking place. The dj was playing clean version of music and some of my music which Suz recognized. I stayed in my little group. My group would always be Matt, James and Anthony. There was many other fathers coming up to me for a photo or autograph but as I see my daughter get scared I told them politely no since I'm here with my daughter and I want to make it memorable for her. They leave.

We dance goofy with our daughters. Anthony went to go challenge a father for a dance battle but we had to calm him down. Then the dj played a slow song which surprisingly from Kanye West called 'Only One' Matt went with Audrey one way, Anthony left with Alice to get some fruit punch, James went to go take photos at the photo booth but Suz wanted to dance. Suz stepped in my to feet as I hold her hands. "Do you like the dance so far?"
"Yes daddy." I was beginning to tear up. "Are you okay daddy?" She looks at me
"Yeah princess I'm fine. Something went inside my eyes." She hugs me when I went down to her height. "I'm happy that you're having so much fun in your dance." She giggles.
"Can we go take pictures and go eat?"
"Yes princess anything you want." After the song was over we went to the photo booth and took many silly and goofy photos. I got the photos and put them in Suz bag. She borrowed it from Dylan to combine with her dress. We went to eat these small sandwiches and cookies. Suz did had much fun and I'm happy that she did.

The dance was about to be over. Suz was getting tired. Matt was leaving early before the dance ended since Audrey fell asleep in his arms. I told him I would see him later. A while later James said his goodbye to me and Suz since Milan was falling asleep. Anthony was leaving soon since he got tired from dancing and Alice was sleeping in his arms. They all left in their uber rides. Suz was falling to sleep but felt cold. I gave her my tuxedo jacket to cover her since she was feeling cold. I called for my uber to pick us up. And that's so the dance was over.

We came back from the dance. Suz was in my arms asleep but I called Dylan to help me when I got home. She had fun tonight. "Hey." She whispered quietly "she had fun?"
"Yeah, she fell asleep in the car ride. I covered her with my tuxedo jacket since it got cold."
"Aw my baby."
"And the boys? Mel? Ma?"
"Sleeping. Ma is in her room getting ready to go to sleep. She stayed with me the whole night after the kids fell asleep. But who was the dance."
"Great. We danced a lot. Anthony he danced a lot but we had to calm him down since he challenged another dad to a dance battle. Matt was having fun for once and it wasn't something related to work or tour and my brother James he just had fun with his daughter dancing. Suz and myself dance to a song surprisingly from Kanye West. It's called 'Only One' I liked it since it was just about Suz tonight."
"That's good to know but Anthony couldn't keep it cool for once."
"No. He couldn't." We went upstairs to Suz room. Mel was already sleeping. Dylan was talking her shoes off from Suz.
"Can you get me her pajamas, bottom drawer." I went to her drawer and got matching pajamas for Suz. She changed her. She gave me my tuxedo jacket. "You looked handsome by the way with your wedding tux."
"Thanks baby." I kissed Dylan. Suz has her pajamas on. Dylan carries her as I got the blankets from her bed. "Night princess." I gave her a kiss on her head. "I had fun with you tonight. Sweet dreams princess." I went to Mel "I'm back my princess. You still keep dreaming." I kissed her. We went to go check on the boys. All sleeping.

We went to our room. I changed to sweat pants and a black tee. "You know the bag you let her borrow tonight she has pictures of us that we took in the photo booth and some photos in my phone we took."
"I'll see them tomorrow morning." She tells me as she gets the blankets "I'm happy that you had fun with Suz. She couldn't stop talking about it how she wanted to dance with you like she danced in Disneyland."
I laughed "yeah my princess. Now I just gotta wait for a couple years so I can take Mel with me to her dance and make it special for her. I made it special for you at our wedding night and the reunion and I made it special for Suz."
"Im happy that I have a man like you ger." She kisses me "we don't we get some sleep or we should have our little fun tonight depends if you don't feel tired." She gives me a little smirk.
"Is that a question?" She giggles as I get on top of her.

This is one of the best father daughter I've been lucky to go to. Now it's Mel's turn when she's Suz age. But now it's time to you know have some fun with my wife.
