Suspicions Confirmed 

3Gun headed for the hotel 

 Thinking about Mrs. Hecklers news 

He hadn't talked with Ronan in a while 

 It would be a good excuse 

3Gun told him about Mrs. Heckler and the mayor 

Described the trio she'd seen there 

'Three men checked in here the other day. 

Don't know how long they're plannin' to stay. 

One of them was a real mean galoot, 

Looked like he was always ready to shoot.' 

'That must be them. 

She said one wore a black hat, 

 another was called Ewell. 

There was a third but she didn't get that.' 

'Do you know them at all? 

Anything ring a bell?' 

Ronan said no 

but there was something familiar a

bout the name, Ewell 

'I'm gonna go through some posters back at the jail. 

The stage brought in a new bunch in yesterday's mail.'

There was no picture and no name 

But the description sure did sound the same 

It sounded like the man with Leo Write 

That Raven said he saw that night 

He should try and find Raven 

as soon as he can 

See that he gets a good look at the man 

If it is the same one he saw with Leo Write 

He might get it all sorted without a fight 

With Christmas 'round the corner 

He needed a peaceful town 

And that reminded him of the piece of paper 

With his presents all written down 

He popped into the general store 

Manny wore a huge grin 

'What a day, Sheriff. 

Sold near everythingto a fella that was just in.' 

Manny recited as 3Gun listened to the list 

'Did you know him at all?" 

'Nope, but a weasely lookin' fellaif you get my gist.' 

'Headed west outta towntoward the old mines 

But then he could drove anywherewithout leaving signs.'
