Waking up

much needed rest got

haven't slept that good

in ages

Walking around town

seems I slept day or two

talk of the show was hot

on everyone's tongues

New guy immune to fire

doubt his heart is

Sighing and my temple

I did rub

I looked for Brody

working up courage

Not having to look far

the necklace he did wear

"Hey Brody

when you and I are free

wanna grab a bite?"

"Not busy with

A frown I did wear

Mentally I facepalmed

but I blushed some

"I'm sure I'll be available.

My frown I again I wore.

"Pity though I was

sort of in the mood

for another floor picnic."

I smiled at his words

my frown turning upside down

"Lou died, remember?

I stay at the jail.

along with his famous grin

My face was a tomato

I tried hard not to stumble

over my words.

I don't see why not."

He kissed my red cheeks

complimenting the color on me.

"Would seem like a serious step

to take in this non-relationship

we have going on here?"

"Room I have plenty of,

And if you did wouldn't that 

mean a relationship then?"

He surprised me

by pulling me close

his arm wrapped around my waist

looking down at me with his

grin again

"I don't know does it?"

"I'm down if you are."

I kissed him and giggled

Returning the kiss,

"I don't like to share,

exclusive rights I must have

No longer free we would be."

"Sounds good to me!

I'm with you I'm happy

I'm no longer free."

Kissing me longer

he wanted to have dinner

to celebrate

saying he'll talk to Petra

for time off for dinner

After dinner, we agreed

to meet back at our place

to say it was enjoyable

was an understatement

Eating with Brody

my new boyfriend

I could feel my heart

mended

no longer broke

express my gratitude

Perfect way to wake up

and end the day
