Enough Shilly-Shally

CG left at the crack of dawn 

3Gun sat up with a stretch and yawn 

The wound felt better, no more pain 

Time to get back to work again 

Doc was pleased and he let it show 

More than happy to see the Sheriff go 

Some welcome waves from passing folks 

Usual number of 'lazy bones' jokes 

Into the office and found Brody and Buck 

Reading circus flyers and having a yuck 

They gave assurance all was well in the town 

Denver, the prisoners and what had gone down 

Billy was healing at the Casino hotel 

3Gun felt they'd handled everything well 

He asked about Myna and how things were with her 

Then walked to see Lorne to find out for sure 

A refreshing shave and trim at Strop's barbershop 

Then a drink at the saloon before his last stop 

The office of the newspaper was across the street 

 And it was with CG he wanted to meet 

He reached the door, turned the knob and sighed
