A Door Closes

"Look who's back!" 

 Crooked Smile yelled. 

"Nobody there", it came 

From a distant corner.

And Tiger growled, 

Kicking. 

And the bartender 

Let him go.

"Fly away, Rooster!" 

"Just one more line..." 

Tiger barked and barked. 

"Fine! I'll be leaving!" 

 And Rusty ran, 

Tools still on the table. 

Crooked Smile laughed. 

 To Tiger, he said: 

 "You may stay here 

Until Raven comes, 

But don't let people find out." 

Shortly after, 

The "dog basket" was made. 

"Please, wait whileI'll get you some water and food."

The door fell shut. 

Tiger started scratching. 

To no avail.
