Farmer's Market, Forges and Water Tower.... Oh My!

Since gaining office the requests were none stop

At times Mayor Order thought his head would pop

Hugh wanted a Farmer's Market for the PHA

The City Council had said, "No Way! "

How to make everyone happy he wasn't sure

For the headache he wished there was a cure

Then a thought came into his head

Why not zone a new area instead.

So he got them all to agree

For Hugh they'll zone the land for a small fee

Hugh couldn't be more thrilled

Got all hands on deck from the ranch to start the build.

Next to the telegraph office they would be

The location was perfect especially

Because they'd get the traffic from town,

Churchgoers, Tent City, stages and train that go round.

"BUT what of our Forge and Stables?

If Hugh's on the Ranch who would be able?

Our townies and visitors need a place!

Our Forge and stable can't become vacant space!"

That was the council's second complaint

With the damage the buildings need more than a few boards and paint

Both are in bad need of repair, since they need to rebuild anyway

he wondered if Petra would care.

He set up a meeting to discuss what he had in mind

Petra was more than happy to help with this bind

But she made a few requests...

Which would move the forge closer to the stables

Because for her that works best.

The stables would be enlarged to include a kennel

She promised to help Ricky and Rusty it was implemental

It handles the problem of the dogs over running

Mayor Order thought the plan rather cunning.

There were a few gripes and groans

But soon they agreed to move the zone.

Especially when Myna gave him the suggestion

Of zoning the open spot for Rue who had mentioned

Wanting to start a hotel,  where people could sit

eat and play cards for a spell.

The town layout was growing fast

The Sheriff grumbled, "Some things are too good to last."

The records would need to come up to date

Lorne thought he was done but... 

"No. Wait! 

We've had a record number of fires!

Every time the Sheriff and CG kiss another building expires!"

"You're not buying that rumor is true?

That's just nonsense writing by Lou."

Still they argued the evidence was easy to see.

And so preventive measure it had to be.

A water tower was to be built

Unger would be maxed out to the hilt.

Perhaps he could enlist the help of Buck, Frank and Ray

Or talk to Hugh about the PHA.

A notice in the paper, things needed to get up and going fast

He needed a lot of laborers amassed.

He was happy when his day was done

He wasn't sure this was how the west was won

But he sure did take delight

It letting Myna make it all right.

With all her love and pampering

He was certain he could handle 

Whatever tomorrow may bring.
