An Equine Rendezvous - CM and Lace

I am on my way,

Smellin' of lilac and hay.

Trot

At the stable door,

Is the mare I adore.

Flowers on her head and tail,

Beautiful burst of fresh gale.

Neigh

"I got you a rose,

For my feelin' to disclose.

And a molasses muffin too,

Specially made for you".

Trot

We wandered the West,

wild and free, as can be.

We galloped up to River Creek,

Finally found the courage to speak.

Neigh

"Lace, you are divine

I want you to be mine".

Today's the day,

CM's coming my way.

He wanted a date;

I hope he won't be late.

Whinny...

He brought me a treat,

Ain't he so sweet!

We take a stroll, the conversation,

is anything but droll.

Whinny, whinny...

Down by the creek,

He nibbles my cheek.

Then neighs in my ear,

He makes it quite clear...

Whinny, whinny whinny!

He chooses his words with care,

And says he wants me to be his mare!

CM's the stud for me of course,

How will I break this to Horse?
