(What Ruby was up to before Rue and Billy got to the cabin)

Whoa, Bessy!

Ruby was back.

Far from town was where she

resided, in a little creaky hut.

And with her were her many kittens.

Ruby thought they wouldn't be leaving her,

seeing as she'd stolen the town cow and all.

Ruby lived in her cabin quietly,

hoping no one would spot

the little old lady

and her many kittens.

There was one kitty over which Ruby fawned.

She went by the name of Rosie.

Ruby loved that little kitty

and was disappointed

when she vanished.

Poof! Just like that.

Magic, perhaps?

Ruby decided to go to the place she dreaded.

Busted Gulch.

And since Rosie ran away

Ruby was sad.

She wanted to stay

far far away

from Busted Gulch.

Yes, Rosie was a real cat. She was my cat, and we had to put her down on the 22nd of November. She is peaceful now.
