Loren was so happy to see

3Gun but he seemed to be

Fussing over a woman

They call CG

He was the sheriff

But was it something more

She wondered as she watched him

Carry her to the Doc's door

She came all this way

She had something to say

She hoped to catch his eye

She just needed to try

But now she wondered

Did she ever have a chance?

He walked right past her

Not even a glance.

Perhaps she was wrong

To carry this torch
