A Loose Plan

Billy woke and did not see

"Where the hell is Ruechari?"

Raven looked around confused.

"Why are you asking me?"

Billy pulled out his gun

"Well while this town's been a barrel of fun.

My allegiance lies with only one."

"Stand down Billy. I am here.

You have no need to fear."

"What the heck happened to you?

You look like hell, Rue."

"I just need to a chance to rest

I'll soon be at my best."

"I've had a vision of where to find Kae.

We have to get rowing no time for delay!"

They quickly packed up the canoe

As Raven moved on, Billy stopped Rue.

"What's really going on?"

Rue's eyes shot over to Raven.

"I fought off a shape shifter, named Jasper

who belongs to a witch named Ruby

She came back before I could get passed her

And I do not know who her crew be."

"She surrounds herself with cats

but I do not know if there is more to them then that.

If they are anything the one I fought

This rescue may be all for naught."

"I was able to take down one,

But I know I'll need your gun

And hope Raven won't be outdone.

Or that we won't be overrun."

"You need to tell Raven about your 'vision'."

She knew it was foolish to believe

She could keep her powers hidden

She was being naïve

But she feared being looked at differently.

She knew Billy however was right

And Raven had to know what he was about to fight.

She told him all she saw, and knew

Hoping it would help as they paddled the canoe.

They came upon the pines

And then the hutch in no time

They had a plan, albeit it loose

On how to cook this witch's goose.

They snuck around the very back

Then they stopped in their tracks

When they heard the witch yell

"Where is my Jasper?

There are ways to make you tell!"

Kae said, "I do not know."

Billy signaled it was time to go.

Billy was cover,

Rue had to get to the witch

Raven the door unhitched.

Concerned about the witch's power

Not knowing if this, her witching hour

Eyes covered with a cloth,

Fightin' the wave of nausea

Caused by a sweet smell of some sort,

Raven tiptoed to the window

Stoppin' now and then.

He heard somewhere in the room.

"Get them my pretties!"

A feeling of doom.

But the Kitties reactions weren't according to plan.

Sure, they darted at him - "Too early."

Raven could barely escape

As they attacked and attacked again.

"C'mon kitties! Gimme a break!"

He lured them outside, Raven shouted to Billy:

"It's up to you!"

Without paying' much attention to the fight,

Raven snuck back inside.

And one, two...

Meow.

He blinked and let Lean's knife sink.

Meow.

Meow.

Three.

Kae was free.

And soon after, so was CG's kitty.

Raven took it and tried to hide it under his vest;

It refused, jumped and dashed away.

Oh, no! Please no!
