Steamboat Rescue 2

The sun had dropped

and dusk descended 

Waiting to enact their plan 

had finally ended 

By now the Belle 

was in the marsh 

Too far to hear the shooting

The signal from the Kit Kats 

was a lonely owl hooting 

Into the boats 

they paddle from shore 

closing on the Steamboat's wake 

When it slowed and 

they heard the whistle blow 

right then was their chance to take 

Myna and Brody went 

quick to the bridge 

3Gun and Billy below 

Myna's knives and her 

threatening image 

made the captain's 

resistance 

no show 

Brody tied he and the mate 

then seated them on the floor 

Myna took over the steering 

and guided the boat to shore

In the hold were the guns 

with two men on guard 

One drew on Billy 

a lesson learned hard 

The other surrendered 

without a fight 

3Gun slapped Billy's back 

It was a successful night

3Gun found the Kit Kats 

and shared a ritual thanks 

Gave them a message 

for the chiefthen 

left the river banks 

One boat safely moored 

no longer could sail 

One crate of rifles 

and three men in the jail 

Now they waited to hear 

if Denver captured the Belle 

Meanwhile, drinks and muffins 

all 'round was just swell
