Curiouser and Cruiouser

CS got in touch with the sheriff 

Raven met 3Gun at the saloon 

3Gun showed him the poster 

And asked if he'd take a look soon 

They walked to the casino together 

Made some small talk on the way 

3Gun asked about Tiger and Cole Bone 

But Raven had little to say 

 At the casino his attention suddenly changed 

 Ronan was arguing with someone deranged 

At one of the tables a woman sat crying 

The man Ronan held had accused her of lying 

When he noticed the sheriff looked like he might draw 

 But Ronan punched him square on the jaw 

The man struck back and Ronan went down 

But right back on his feet with a deadly frown 

3Gun moved Raven off to the side 

Asked if this was the man he had spied 

Raven shrugged, it was just a hunch 

They both looked up when they heard the punch 

The man stumbled backwards across the floor 

Ronan hit him again and he fell out the door 

Down the steps and into the dirt 

Hand up in surrender, he'd had enough hurt 

'What's the trouble,?' 3Gun inquired 

'This fella seems to think he was desired. 

 When Bess turned him down he got all fired.' 

'Kinda looks like that's expired.' 

'You want me to charge him, give him hell?'  

A muffled voice said, 'I'm a guest here in this hotel!' 

'If you wanna stay you'll tell Bess you're sorry.' 

The man went in and apologized, rubbing his jaw 

Now wasn't the time to mess with the law 

He left and 3Gun acknowledged Rob 

'You seem to like doin' this job.' 

Ronan laughed and said so it would seem 

Gave him a chance to blow off some steam 

3Gun told him what Raven had said 

He might be the man that left Leo for dead 

'I don't think he's in BG just for fun 

His name's Ewell, he's a hired gun.'
