Eddward wakes up and is already in a foul mood. He does his morning routine and when he opens his door to go to his car he sees his partner on his bike outside of his house. "The fuck you want Barr." The Raven hisses clearly annoyed. "Well Goodmorning sunshine." Kevin says sarcastically. "I told you I wanted to talk." Once he says this Eddward sighs. "We have all day to talk. right now I want to have a moment of peace." Eddward says as he walks to his car and Kevin hops off his bike and rushes after jamming himself between the Raven and the car door. "Move. Now." Eddward says glaring at the redhead. "I will in a moment, I just wanted to say I'm sorry." Kevin says this sincerely and Eddward drops his guard for a moment and his expression softens but pulls it right back up. "Trying to give an apology 7 years later is a little late, wouldn't you agree?" Kevin gets quiet and steps to the side. Eddward doesn't even look at him as he gets in his car and heads off to work.

Eddward stops by a convenience store and grabs a coffee before heading into work. Kevin is already there by then and surrounded again by a group of female officers/secretary workers. Kevin lets his smile fade for a moment as he clearly avoids eye contact with the Raven. Eddward notices this and rolls his eyes and walks away. Kevin then brushes the women off as he chases after his partner "Edd wait!"  He shouts after the Raven but is ignored. The redhead then reaches out and grabs Eddward's hand. "Careful Barr. People might think you have a crush on me." Eddward says motioning with his other hand to the group of women watching the two. "Cut the shit Edd. I want to talk." The ginger says. "Then you can talk. I'm not stopping you." The Raven says with a grin knowing Kevin won't with all these people around. The ginger lets go of Eddward's hand and the Raven walks away. "That's what I thought." He says with a frown as the redhead lowers his head in shame.

The partners meet back up at their squad car and get a call right away. "I need all cars in the area to proceed to highway 9 east. There is a car chase in progress with a hostage in the passenger seat. Please use caution, the suspect is armed." The voice on the radio calls out. "Fuck yes! Finally something interesting!" Kevin says as he peels out the parking lot, turning on his sirens and lights as he heads onto the highway. "Don't be so reckless Barr!" Eddward shouts as Kevin begins to approach the car breaking 90mph. "Come on live a little!" The ginger says as he closes in on the car ramming into the back of it causing the suspects car to spin out and his a guard rail. "Jesus Christ Kevin was that fucking needed?!" Eddward says as he hops out the car to make sure everyone is breathing. The suspect is unconscious and the hostage is awake but in pain. "Don't move" Eddward says in a soothing tone. He turns to the ginger "your ass better be calling for an ambulance!" The Raven says with a hostile tone. "Already called for them." Kevin says back and before he knows it there is a fist flying at him he dodges it catching his fist "what the actual fuck are you doing Edd?!" Kevin asks. "WHAT THE FUCK AM I DOING? YOU JUST ENDANGERED TWO PEOPLE'S LIVES YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" Eddward snaps. Kev avoids eye contact again and the ambulances pull up taking the hostage and suspect away.

On the ride back to the station Eddward drives and says nothing as Kevin sits there with his head lowered in shame. The redhead turns on the radio and smirks and looks over at Eddward who hears what's playing "oh god no...." Is all he can say. "Come on Edd you know you want to!" The ginger says with a chuckle. "I'll get you started!" Kevin says turning up the radio.

"If you're having girl problems I feel bad for you son
I got 99 problems but a bitch ain't one"  The redhead finishes this part and points to Eddward who can't help but grin as the words come back into his memory.

Once Eddward finishes this part Kevin is sitting there cracking up cutting off the radio "I see you still got it babe!" Once the ginger says this they both then sit there awkwardly. Eddward finally lets out a sigh. "Come over tonight and I'll let you talk." He says before they pull back into the station.

When they get back into the station the chief is furious. "BARR! ROCKWELL. Office. now." He commands and they both follow. They sit down in the chairs and the chief sits at his desk. "I can't believe you boys injured two people today!" The chief says clearly angry. "Chief you don't understand it was all me!" Kevin says trying to keep the Raven out of trouble. The chief then looks over at Eddward "is that true Mr. Rockwell? If it is I'll have no choice but to place Mr. Barr with a new partner who can keep him in check after a suspension." The cheif explains and Eddward sees this chance to rid himself of the Redhead for good. However, he feels himself becomes slightly upset at the thought of not being around him all the time. He gives a long sigh "no chief it was both of our faults I promise I'll keep him in check sir." He says this and Kevin's jaw drops but he doesn't say a word as the chief dismisses them with a written warning.

When they leave the office Eddward begins to walk away and Kevin grabs his wrist. "Why did you do that?" He asks and the Raven shakes his hand off and doesn't say anything. He can't because he doesn't know why he did it himself. "Just be at my house at 7pm sharp. You know how much I loathe tardiness." Eddward finally says walking away.

Eddward is sitting on his couch reading when at 6:59pm there is a knock at his door. "Typical." The Raven says with a small smirk remembering Kevin always used to come a minute early. He opens the door and the ginger kicks off his shoes right away. He sits down on the couch and waits for Eddward to join him.

"Okay Kevin you have 5 minutes to explain why you left without a word."
