Heh, it's been a while. but uh...here's a new chapter! 

America's POV

I sat bored at my desk. I was tired and kept glancing at Russia, my mind racing. I felt a tap on my shoulder and I jerked my head to look at who poked me and saw Japan's worried eyes bore into my own. "Are you okay?" She asked, "You've been off lately."

I nodded and flashed a confident smile at her. "I'm fine Jap Don't worry about me."

I could tell that she wasn't that convinced but she nodded and left me alone. I sighed and faced forward glancing once more at Russia. "Should I have really trusted his word?" I thought. "I mean he has every right to have everything against me. I did spend the last few years making his life miserable...Spoiling my reputation would be the best way to get back at me." I violently shook the thoughts out of my head. I need to trust him. He isn't who you thought he was. You need to give a second chance.

"Hey everyone please pay attention, k?" I looked up at Mr. Nato speaking.

There were four new countries standing next to him. The first one was shorter than two but taller than the last one. She had a wide excited smile and bright eyes. Her flag was an orange box in the left corner with a sort of squiggly star symbol and a diagonal line going from the right corner of the box to the bottom of her face. The top part was a light blue, the bottom green as was the rest of her body. She wore a neon green sweatshirt with a star and there strips going diagonally out of it. They were light blue, purple, and dark blue. She had a bright red scarf black pants and brown boots. The second and tallest was also a female. She had an also light blue but slightly darker base with a white triangle and the top of her face and a purple diamond coming off the tip. There were also two slightly slanted triangles at the base of her face. She had a lazy but slightly nervous look on her face. She wore a black turtleneck and a purple diagonal stripe was on it. The strip held strange symbols. She then had black pants and purple boots. The one next to her was the second tallest. This one had two pink circles at the top left corner and bottom right. She also had a diagonal line connecting the circles. Her top half was red and the bottom as well as the rest of her body was a deep purple. She had a nervous but trying not to show it expression. She wore a light pink sweatshirt with a grey streak in the middle. She had brown pants and black boots. The last one was the shortest and most scared one. She had a yellow circle in the left corner and an orange rectangle in the right. The rest of her face and body was a hot pink. She had an white sweatshirt with black sound beat like things. Her string and hood was back and had two black stripes starting at the shoulder and ending at her forearm. She had pants with gray boots. God what's up with the boots on these people? They stood up straight. Well almost all except for the last one. She kind of hides behind the others. "This is Jade." The first one with the wide smile waved excitedly. "Katie," The second one nodded but flashed a small smile. "Alex," The third girl waved slightly and quickly. "And Rose." The last one hid a little more before Alex side stepped and she stumbled forward. She looked up and gave a shy wave before going back to hide behind Katie. "Okay now that's get started with the class. K? K. Jade you can sit in the back next to Beralus and America . America please raise your hand." I waved and Jade waved back. Jade walked forward and sat next to me. She waved to beralus who I recognized as Russia's sister. And then she turned and smiled at me. I smiled slightly back. It was kinda more of my famous smirk. "Katie you can sit next to russia and Alex and Rose there is two seats next to that one." After they all took their seats the class went on like usual and I went back to my thoughts.

(Time skip)

I once again sat down at my regular lunch table but my thoughts were elsewhere. I looked up and saw Jap looking at me but as soon as she noticed me looking back she looked away. But not before I could see the concern in her eyes. Luckily she said nothing. "Hey do you think we should give the newbies a lesson Ame?" Asked Netherlands

I thought about it. "Let's wait until they break one of the rules to give them a piece of our mind."

The others seemed content with the answer and went back to their food. Inwardly I sighed in relief. Netherlands cast another look at me and asked."hey you've been quiet...You good?"

"Yeah I'm fine." I said a little too quickly.

He looked at me strangely for a few seconds before shrugging and turning back to the rest of the group. I am glad. I'm just so tired....

Sitting in science class. I was only pulled out of my thoughts when I heard the teacher mention a group project. My ears perked up at that. Until she said we had assigned groups. My heart fell. And as she read out the list it fell deeper into my stomach. Her exact words were "America, Jade, russia, and Amber."

I could almost feel the gazes of the class on the back of my head. I looked at russia and glowered at him but trying to also show him I wasn't really mad at him. He glared back but with a similar message in his eyes. Jade and Amber looked confused but shrugged at each other.

Jade's POV

I stood up next to Amber. They were packing up their stuff and looked over at me. "I'm going to grab our lab partners numbers so we can talk." I told them. They nodded and turned back to their stuff. Yes I know what you're going to say. They look like a girl. But they decided that's what they would like to be called so...I'm calling them that. Most people don't know that so we are going to have to explain it to A LOT of people. Oh wait going off topic a bit. Anyways I hop over the seat in front of me and run after America since he was closest. "America!" I called out and raced after him.

He turned and looked at me with his eyes covered by his sunglasses. I noted his eye ware before making my eyes over his whole figure. His posture was off and slumped though it was clear he was trying to hide it. His clothes were slightly wrinkled . From what I heard about America wrinkled clothes didn't seem like his thing. And having a father like Britain it doesn't seem like he would allow that. I snapped from my thoughts and shot out my hand. "I'm Jade as you probably know. I'm one of your partners and was wondering if I could have your phone number?" I shot him a big smile.

People around us stopped and watched for what America would do. I watched him closely as well. He slightly tensed up. Not enough for anyone who was watching to normally notice. But you know I'm not really normal. I met his sunglasses with my own contacted eyes. I wish I could see what he was hiding under those damn sunglasses. He forced a smirk that was slightly strained. He slapped my hand out of the air. "In your dreams." He turned away. "Do the project yourself."

I smiled easily. "You're not gonna get credit. What'll your father say if you fail a class." A gasp rang through the crowd. I kept smiling.

America Turned to me and had an open mouth. "What did you just say?" He asked angrily. This anger was not fake I could tell. But I kept smiling easily.

"What. Will. Your. Father. Say. When. You. Fail. The. Class?" I kept a small smile on my face. "Did I speak clearly that time?"

He grunted and punched me straight in the face. It hit my jaw and sent me sailing into the locker. Heh yeah i could've dodged it buuuuut...that wouldn't save his reputation. I stood up ready for another strike. He stepped away. "That should teach you NOT to talk about my father." He turned his back on me. "Now get out of my sight."

I chuckled. "My my my. That's no way to treat a lady but okay." I picked up my stuff before turning my back on him as well. "See you later, sunglasses guy." I smiled at the piece of paper he had handed me during the punch.

Whispers followed me the whole time I walked around the school. I caught sight of my other partner and ran towards him. "Russia, wait up!" I yelled and skidded to a stop in front of him. "Can I get your phone number for the project?"

He looked at me. "You're the one who stood up to America. That took real guts."

I blushed slightly at the compliment but grinned easily. "Eh It wasn't that hard. I've seen worse then the school bully." I lowered my voice. "I could've humiliated him easily but I just took the punch. He didn't deserve it really." I shrugged and grinned without any emotion and trick I had learned from fresh. "He was too tired and mentaly exhausted for a real fight."

Russia handed me a small slip of paper much like the one America gave me. "He's not really like that!" Russia tried to persist quietly.

I put a hand on his shoulder and smiled. "Yeah. I figured that out." I turned and ran away before he could figure out what I meant.

I ran next to my team grasping my paper slips close to me. "You've got them?" Asked Katie with a raised eyebrow.

I grinned at her. "Yep!"

"Seriously you didn't have to throw hands with him." Sighed Rose as she stepped forward to exmin my face. "You could've gotten really hurt. We are already breaking a lot of rules." She gripped my chin gently before letting go, sighing and stepping away.

"You really are dumb for taking this chance." Katie brought up.

"I know." I grinned through it kinda made my jaw hurt. "I wouldn't be me if I made good choices."

Alex jumped off the stairs and landed next to the rest of us. "Can I have the numbers?"

"Sure Al," I texted them the numbers before adding them to my own contacts.

"Okay let's get out of here." Katie started towards the entrance.

"Wait, hang on, I forgot stefany!" Alex turned around and dashed back to thier locker.

"Waaaait....whoa stefany?" I asked and looked at Rose with a raised eyebrow.

Rose, who had most of the classes today with Alex, smiled at me and said. "You'll see."

Alex cam running back clutching a pencil with a smiley face to their chest. "Okay now we can go."

I burst out laughing before covering my mouth. "Okay Okay that is just beautiful."

Alex stroud proudly clutching their child to their chest."She gets it." They commented waving an arm in my direction looking at Kaite.

Katie had that tired mom look in her eyes as if she had to deal with this all day.

"Come on we better get home." I said and dragged Alex and Katie out the door and Rose grabbed our stuff following quickly.
