Dementia! It makes up aproximately 60% of the plots of many stories! It is a convenient and lazy-ass excuse for a storyline. Authors and video game programmers alike use dementia in stories to conveniently re introduce characters or start a story. Don't get me wrong, I still love some stories that have dementia as part of the plotline, but it's just so annoying when I work so hard to write, like, one page, and one author just skips a whole chapter by simply adding this sentence or one similar to that: "Who the hell are you?"

I mean, I definitely am not a professional, but I HATE when people who are supposed to do their jobs just find ways to slide around it. It's like applying for a job with an extra line of fine print saying you actually won't do your whole job! It's incredibly obvious and cliché, and it annoys the hell out of me.
