Time skip 3 days

Lucy's POV

     "Master.. Tonight's the last night were gonna half to rent a hotel right?" I asked, I'm starting to run low on funds and Natsu's always hungry.

      Wait why am I always buying his food!! I asked my self in my head.

      Master sighed "Yes child. I'm sorry, the guild doesn't have enough money to cover everyone's hotels. And the trip was indeed long. But enjoy your self tonight. The city is having their end of fall festival, The Festival of Stars ."

      My eyes lite up "stars!?!" He nodded then walked off by the other guild members.

     I was staring out the window when something heavy leaned on my shoulder. "Natsu.." I turned to see he had fallen asleep. 'At least he's not in pain from the motion sickness'.

      I looked around, everyone was sleeping actually. Juvia was sleeping on Grays arm, Gray was leaning against the cart walls, Erza had her head propped on her arm asleep.

      Elf man had Lisanna and Mira sleeping on his arm ' aw such a cute family' I found my self smiling.

'They're all my family'

      I heard a soft moan come from Natsu, his face scrunched up in pain. I sighed, I carefully laid him on my lap and played with his soft pink spikes.

      His face relaxed and he smiled softly 'awe he's so cute!' I exclaimed in my thoughts.

      I stared out the window wondering about the star festival.

With that Lucy fell asleep along with her comrades.

Natsu's POV

      I woke up it was around 4 ish by the way the sun looked in the sky. 'Hmm soft' I poked the soft squishy thing which my head was laying on.

     I sat up Lucy's hand fell off my head. To my surprise she was sleeping. 'Did she lay me in her lap? Why was her hand on my head? Why am I not motion sick?' All these questions ran through my head.

     "Natsu" I heard some one call
me from behind, it was Erza. "Come on the trains stopped wake up Lucy and get to your hotel" she said walking off the train with 50 different suit cases behind her.

     I turned and looked at Lucy. I poked her cheek and called out her name softly "luuucy" she didn't wake up.

     Erg i have no choice then! I scooped down and picked her up. "I guess I'll just carry her" I said trying to get her on my back.

     Gray laughed at us  "piggy back rides!! Ahaha-" "shhh!!" I yelled softly "Lucy's still sleeping" I pointed my thumb at my back.

      "Mm~ Natsu get out of my bed" Lucy mumbled in her sleep. I Walked off from the laughing gray and smirking Ezra.

      "One room for two please" I paid the lady at the front desk and went up stairs to our room.

Normal POV

     Lucy felt really warm and slowly opened her eyes to find her self on Natsu's back being carried up some stairs.

       'Natsu's back is so warm' she thought cuddling up to him. Natsu felt her move around "Lucy you awake?" "Hm oh hai" she said softly "I can walk the res-"

     Natsu cut her off "To late now, we're already here." She jumped of his back and opened the door helping the pink headed salamander carry the bags in.

      Down the hall peering around the corner was Erza and the rest of the gang "ummm.. Erza-San why are we hiding? Our rooms are down there too."

     Asked the confused Wendy "my master plan is working well!" Erza had that sinister smile plastered on her face again.

     Gray sighed "This is lame, I'm going to my room "He started to walk off with his hands in his pockets, when Erza snagged him.

     "There's a festival tonight I'm going to go get Lucy a yutaka, Wendy would you like to come?"Erza asked, Wendy nodded. Wendy, Carla , and Erza left, while Gajeel , Gray , Happy and Lily stood behind.

     "I have a feeling that we shouldn't go by our rooms" Happy sighed "Let's go get food guys I really need some fish!"

So they all left as well leaving Natsu and Lucy alone.

      "Natsu.." The salamander turned around "Yea Lucy?" "Thank you" she said softly. Natsu was completely confused on why she was thanking him, he just shrugged it off and went into the bathroom.

      "Yo Lucy, I'm jumping in the shower" Lucy nodded and laid down on the bed taking out her diary.

Lucy's diary

'Dear diary,

      Its been four days of traveling and I'm so so tired. I've spent almost all my money on hotels and buying food. Natsu never stops eating!! Natsu.. He's acting strange.
     
      I woke up the other day with his hand on my face but it was so soft and gently resting there I kind of didn't mind. I felt bad for him on the train though. I can only imagine how he feels, four days of train traveling.
    
      As the good friend I am I laid him on my lap and play with his hair. His soft spiky pink hair, I love that pink his hair is ah. What am I even writing any more.
  
      Any way tonight there's a festival going on called the star festival. I just love the stars so much! Well I have to get going I heard Natsus shower turn off.

Normal POV

      Natsu walked out of the shower in his pants with a towel over his head so his wet hair wouldn't drip everywhere.

    He forgot about the mark so when he walked out Lucy gasped. He looked up "eh what's wrong Lucy?" she pointed at his shoulder with shaky hands.

      He looked down and remember the mark, but now it's bigger covering half of his chest. He closed his eyes as he tried to cover the mark, looking away from Lucy.

      "Natsu.." She walked over to him but he continued to back away from her. She followed into he was backed into a corner. "Lucy get away from me!" He yelled.

       She slapped him in the arm "I thought I said not to yell at me!" She yelled back. Natsu held his arm, she slapped him so softly yet it stung so badly.

      He looked up and she was next to him, her arm touching his shoulder and chest. He was startled by what she did but accepted it. "Does it hurt?" She asked softly.

    "Yeah.. Some times, I think it's when it grows" he said looking down at the ground. "Oh" was all she could respond.

     "Lucy, I don't know what it is but I feel like it's bad" "why didn't you tell me" her chocolate orbs stared into his. "I was scared.. I was scared you'd be scared." Her next move surprised him even more.

      She leaned against him hugging him tightly "You idiot.. I'd never be scared of you. You're my friend, no you're my best friend... You should have told me" "I'm sorry Lucy" Natsu sighed.

     He then felt warm tears running down her face "why are you crying?" He looked puzzled then patted her head understanding why she was crying now. "I'm not gonna disappear or anything. Got it" She stepped back wiping her tears "mhm" she nodded.

     Right after Natsu put on his vest, Erza busted in the room with Wendy.

      "Lucy!! We got you an yutaka for tonight!" The said in unison handing her the pink dress.

       There was a small rainbow cherry blossom tree in the corner and it seems the leaves were being blown off the tree across the dress.

     "It's beautiful guys" Lucy smiled holding it up to her chest.
