Natsu POV

I woke up for the first time in my own. No screaming child begging me to get up or jumping on me. My eyes shot open. "Tatsu!" I jumped out of bed and ran around the house looking for him.

I opened the bathroom door and find him sitting in the tub with bubbles on her head and face. "Good morning Natsu" I look over to see Lucy smiling at me while she washes Tatsu's hair. I sighed then smiled back. "Mornin papa!"

"Jeez Luce.. I was worried when he didn't wake me up, I Thought he ran off or something." "You forgot I was here didn't you?" I lowered my head in shame. "Yes ma'am" I could hear soft chuckling coming from her.

"Oh Natsu, it's fine really. Remember I thought seeing you was a dream" I laughed now and stretched. "Hah yea" "papa! Make food!" "You can cook??" Lucy looked at me with concerned eyes.

"Well maybe not to your standards but it was good enough for us to survive and enjoy eating so.." "As long as you didn't burning down my kitchen" I chuckled remember years back when I used to burn everything. "Hey kiddo want momma to make us some food?"

Before Aki could even respond I leaped forward and grabbed her hands. "Please oh please Mavis Lucy cook. I've missed your cooking so much!!" "Okay okay, go get everything out while I finish giving him his bath." I nodded and left the bathroom.

I went out into the kitchen and started pulling out eggs, bacon, toast, and pancake mix. If Lucy's gonna cook I'm getting the best breakfast in years. I smiled wickedly licking my lips. "Papa!! Look what momma got me!!" I looked down to see Aki in a new outfit.

Once Lucy came in smiling I asked her were he got the outfit. "Simple, I summoned Virgo and asked her to get him some cute clothes." I nodded my head then eagerly pushed her towards the food. My mouths pretty much drooling right now, all I want is some Lucy food.

"Papa where's ma book?" "Wait he can read??" Lucy asked me. I nodded then went and found one of his many books. "Yes Lucy, he's a destructive little dragon just like me, but when it comes to reading and books he's just like you."

"Evy told me that reading is good for me" Aki smiled brightly up at Lucy. "Evy?" "Oh yea when he was little.. Well littler he couldn't say levys name so he started calling her Evy and it just stuck. She seems to like the name so thats okay."

"Ahh levy!! I need to see her!!!" I laughed and pointed at the food. "You can see your friends and family after you feed the demon in front of you." Oh she did not seem to like me calling mh self a demon cause she huffed and looked really annoyed. "Here's your food. Tatsu come eat!!" She called out.

Tatsu ran in full speed and dove in. "O... Ma.. Momma this so good!" "See I told you mommy can make a good meal" she smiled then started eating her food as well. After we all finished eating Lucy decided to take a shower.

"Hey Luce~ how bout I take a shower with you hehe" I stated slowly wrapping my arms around her waist. "As much as I would love that~" she pulled her self out of my arms "some one has to watch Tatsu, and I'm afraid that's you" "oh come on he's a big boy, I take showers with him in the living room all t-" "Natsu!" "Okay okay!"

I sighed and walking into the living room. "This is all your fault roar!!" I put my hands up in the air and started chasing him around the house making dragon noises. "Ah ahah daddy stop ahhhhh"

I scooped him up in my arms and pulled his shirt up and started blowing raspberries into his tummy. "Ahahaha nah herheh daddy stap!" Tatsu yelled laughing his head off, kicking and screaming.

Lucy POV

I was about to jump in the shower when I heard like roaring noises. I wrapped a towel around my self then looked out of the bathroom. I saw Natsu chasing Aki around the house. He was acting like a monster stomping around and roaring like an idiot.

I giggled at him but continued to watch. I really couldn't help but watch in awe as he started giving him raspberries and how happy they seemed. I sighed and smiled at my two boys. My heart ached and I started feeling really sad.

The next thing I knew I was in the ground crying my eyes out. "Lucy?!?" I heard Natsu run around the corner my "momma momma!" Natsu dropped to his knees and held my shoulders up looking into my eyes.

"Lucy what happened?" I shook my head and wiped my eyes. "I'm just *sniffle* im so happy to be home, but I...I missed so much." I placed my hand on Tatsus cheek. "I missed so much of him. And see you two bond it just warms my heart. But it hurts to think about how I missed that with him."

Natsu pulled me into a tight hug and I could feel Aki hugging my sides. "Momma..." "Lucy all you missed were some stinky diapers and sleepless nights. You still have so much time with him so stop your crying. Get your butt in the shower and spend time with you family"

I looked up him shocked as could be. "Natsu when did you get so mature.." Natsu gave me a funny look then laughed. "Well Lucy I'll have you know I am getting older. I was 18 when we met silly. I'm 27 now. Wait wow think about how old we'd be if we had aged those seven years."

He started counting on his fingertips. "I'd be 34!!" I giggled "that would make me 33. Im not looking forward to that aha." "Seriously Luce get in the shower, you're making the bill go up." I can't believe he's talking about bills and counting. I guess we have gotten older and he has been raising a kid.

Natsus POV

We all finally got all cleaned up and decided to head out to the guild. "Hold up Lucy, I left something in the house." I ran back inside and rummaged through my chest. "There you are!" I held the item in my hand kissed it then stuffed it I my pocket. One more then. I pulled out a paper then stuffed that in my pocket as well.

I ran out side and caught up to Lucy and Aki. We both held one of his hands and swung him back and forth. He really seemed to enjoy it too. "Lucy I have brilliant idea to have you enter the guild." She sweat dropped. "Natsu why do you always have to have a weird entrance?" "Oh come on."

"Natsu I just wanna walk in" "hehe I bet nobody will even think twice about you being there and think it's normal." "Maybe" I held her hand tightly. I knew how badly she missed everybody and wanted to see them. I opened the doors and Tatsu ran in ahead of me.

Everyone just seemed to be doing their own thing. Some saying hey to Tatsu as he ran by. Me and Lucy walked in and sure enough no one said anything, I honestly don't think they even noticed her. We walked over to the bar, I was expecting Mira to freak out but she just looked up and said.

"Hey Natsu, Lucy. Lucy you want a strawberry shake right?" Lucy nodded and made a really odd face at her then back at me. A few moments later she came back and looked up holding the shake.

*smash!!*

Everyone turned to see Mira, eyes wide open like a deer in headlights. And she was just lightly pointing at Lucy. From the back side Lucy down look different. Before she left her hair was down to her waist now it's almost to her knees. It so long and golden, and pretty... And Natsu snap out of it. I told my self.

The whole guild was still staring just staring at us. "Momma!!" We heard Tatsu call out and start running towards us leaping into lucys arms. Everyone blinked for a moment.

"LUCY!!!!!!!!" Everyone was crying and hugging her. Talking about how they thought she was dead. She explained everything. "Oh my levy! You'll never believe it, but I saw Aquarius!" "What how! I thought she died or something" I budded in "well she didn't die she just can't use her key and summon her anymore." Levy told me.

"When all my spirits came to bid me farewell she actually came. I cried like a lot and hugged her. She surprisingly hugged me back and talk to me. Of you don't know how much I missed her." Shortly after the guild of course had to celebrate for lucys return. About half way through the party I pulled Lucy to the request board.

"Let's pick out a job for later Luce~" "Natsu I'm not in the mood for a job I just wanna spend time with you guys." "Lucy just look" I pretty much demanded. She looked around at the board and I prepared my self.

"N-Natsu.. Isnt this our first job request we took together" she asked pulling the crinkled paper of the board. She turned them looked down at me. "Natsu whats the meaning of this.. Natsu" she cried and covered her mouth smiling.

Lucy's POV

I turned and look down at Natsu. "What's the meaning of this...Natsu." I covered my bright smiled while tears rolled out of my eyes. "What's the point of that you ask. He let me explain." I nodded and sat down next to him.

"You see that's the day I asked you to join my team, that's the day I knew you were awesome. I was probably way to dense but that was probably the day I fell in love with you. I always had this feeling to protect you and stay by your side. That's why I was always sneaking in your room and sleeping in your bed. I guess back then I just figured I just wanted a comfy bed, but I know my self and deep down I felt being closer to you I could protect you better."

He held my hands tightly. "I hated seeing you get hurt or being in pain. I hated seeing future you die in front of me. It tore me apart. But it made me fight harder to protect you. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle seeing you die again. Not unless it was us dying together of old age. But then you disappeared the last four years. I thought you died, I thought I wasn't goin to be able to live with out you. But I had to take care of Tatsu, our little dragon slayer. Some one i would see you in him, it really made me miss you Lucy but that's okay now because you're back. And I'm back and neither of us are gonna leave again. And Lucy I love you. Oh I love you so much. I can't stand the idea of never being with you. I know I told you this already but you know, in case you forgot."

He held onto my hands but put one knee on the ground. He looked up at me and showed of that toothy grin of his. "Lucy Heartfilia, will you please grow old with me, continue to be on my team and go on missions with me, promise to never leave my side again. Finally change you last name and marry me?"

I began to cry uncontrollably and jumped into his arms. "Yes! Yes Natsu I will marry you, I'll grow old with you and be you team mate and I promise and cross my heart I will never ever leave you or Tatsu ever ever again. And I will gladly change my last name for you!" I cried out before grabbing his face and kissing him.

The guild exploded into cheers, some of the girls were crying because of how cute it was. Elfman was in the back talking about how manly that was. All the guys were congratulating Natsu for finally doing the manly deed. While I was talking with all my close friends.

"Oh lu-chan I'm so happy for you!" "Juvia is happy that old love rival is finally having a wedding." "I will personally be your wedding planner, I promise you'll have the best cake ever" Erza told me with a gleam in her eyes. "Uh Lucy-San. I'm not sure if you know how this works but I happened to have my recording orb and recorded everything and was going to send it to your orb for you." Wendy told me.

"Oh you mean that thing Natsu played me showing all the moments of him growing up." She nodded and pressed some buttons. I felt so exhausted. We partied for my arrival them partied for my engagement. I sat down and Tatsu came over and laid his head on my lap slowly falling asleep.

Felling tired my self I too fell asleep. But just before I could feel something warm sit down next to me and wrap his arms around me. "Goodnight Luce, Tatsu" he said before kissing both our heads. Then I was out.
