So I called the son Aki Tatsu, by both names through out the chapter. One name works better than the other for parts.

Normal POV

"Sit still... Stop fighting me" Natsu grunted as he tried to change Tatsu's diaper. The baby kicked his legs around laughing. "Oh you, just sit still" he argued.

"Natsu what on earth are you doing?" Erza came up behind him. "It's been months and you still can't change a diaper come on!" She growled pushing him out of the way. "He's bein' difficult today!"

Wendy giggled. "Natsu-San, look I have something for you!" She held up a small spherical orb. "What is it?" Natsu asked holding it and looking at it.

"It's a lacrima recorder. You can film stuff and watch it later. I thought it would be cool since you said Aki is trying to walk right? Well now you can record it!" She chirped.

Natsu Ruffled her hair "thanks Wendy." She nodded and sat down next to Romeo.

"How do you set this thing up!?" Natsu yelled trying to turn on the recorder. All of a sudden it lifted up and flew into a corner to record the whole room.

Natsu walked over to the trying to stand Tatsu. "Come on, you can do it. Walk, walk for daddy!" Natsu cheered him on. Aki tilted his head "da... Da-da!!!!" He squealed and started clapping his handing laughing.

Natsu's mouth hung low. He turned to the recorder and pulled it down. Still mouth hanging low and everything. He put it on replay. "Da...da-da!!!!" Over and over he watched it.

He looked back at the child. "Ahaha!!! You said it!!! You called me da da!!" Natsu exclaimed picking the child up and throwing him up and catching him as he came back down. "Weeee ahgggr" Tatsu giggled at the movement his father threw him.

Running with the kid on his hip, Natsu ran to the guild. Bursting through the guild halls doors Natsu sat Tatsu on the ground and started running around. "Look look!!!" He pulled the video out. "Watch!!" He played the recording and watched in awe.

His guild mates giggled and laughed at him. "Awe Natsu that's so cute." Mira smiled. "Natsu-San!! Quick get the recorder!" Natsu turned to see Aki standing on his feet. Quickly setting up the recorded he fell to his knees to cheer him on.

"Come on little buddy! Come on walk to daddy, right here in my arms" he cheered with his arms out stretched towards Aki. Looking at his dad he smiled and started to walk forward. "Come on little closer"

Aki got excited and actually some what ran the last step or so into Natsus arms. "Aye!!! That's my boy!!!" Natsu cheered happily.

Natsus POV

I slept comfortably in Lucys bed, dreaming about running through the golden fields with her again. "up... Wake uuuuup!!" I heard a low voice mumbling. Maybe it's was my stomach.

Maybe I shoul- "gahhh!!!! Damn it!!" I yelled jumping up and grabbing hold of the child who just jumped on my back. "What the hell Tatsu!!! You trying to break my back!?!" Tatsu looked up at me and stuck his tongue out. "Maybe you wake up!"

I still had hold of his leg, I was actually standing on the bed holding my son up side down. "Hmm, bad boys deserves punishment!!!" I yelled pulling him up and started tickling him. "Ahahaha stop it dad! Hehe aha DAD!!!" "I will never give up! Hehe"

I snickered tickling his feet now. "I'm hungry!" Aki yelled in between laughs. I stopped tickling him and helped him out of bed. "Me too, let's eat!" He flashed my classic toothy grin back at me and ran. "Last one dere has to mak food!!" "You can't make the food even if I beat you!" I laughed walking into the kitchen.

"After we finish eating were gonna run into town to meet up with Gray and Ren. So you need to take a bath" "but... I hate baths" he pouted. I Ruffled his blonde spikes. "Wells as your mom would say, you get nothing till you're clean." He sighed in defeat.

"I know papa" I smiled and thought to my self 'man Luce even when you're not here your rules still pull through... Oh Mavis I miss you so much.' Hearing Tatsus yells snapped me back to reality. "Dad!!! Daddy help!!!" I took off running into the bath room.

"What's wrong!!!...." Looking down I see water everywhere. I took a deep sigh. "What am I gonna do with you" I said shaking my head and placing my hands above the water. "Ready to see dads awesome magic?" I love seeing his eyes light up like that.

I ignited my fists into flames and boiled the water till it completely evaporated. "Daddy when can I larn you magic!?" He asked me excitedly. "You know what I'll start teaching you the basics of how to do the magic and obtain the fire, later on I'll teach you more"

'man Igneel, wish you were still with me to see this. I remember when you first taught me magic.' "Fire magic fire magic!!!!" Tatsu cheered happily. I smiled. "Alright now get in the tub and wash your self."

Without a hesitation Tatsu jumped into the tub and i started to help him wash his hair. After his bath I help him get dressed and we headed out the door. "Daddy!" I was startled and looked down at my son. "What's up?" Tatsu held his arms up pleading to be carried.

Smiling slightly being the awesome dad I am, I picked him up and propped him up on my shoulders. "I can't wait to see Ren!!" It's nice that's there at least one kid close to Aki's age, although Ren's eight now..

"Oi! Flamebrain!!" "Yo Ice princess!, wow Aki! Calm down you're gonna fall!" I warned the squirming child on my shoulders. Looking around I sooned realized why he wanted down. Happy and Ren were sitting at a table near by.

As soon as I sat him down on the ground he took off running. "Happy!!!" Happy jumped up and hugged Aki, then sprouted his wings flying around with Aki in his arms. "Look dad look!!!" I could hear him cheering. I laughed a bit and walked over to Gray. "Ready to go?" Gray nodded and we all started walking, well besides Aki who was flying around with Happy.

Normal POV

The group of five headed off into the market. Ren and Tatsu stood by each other looking at the different stands. Natsu and Gray were ahead looking for groceries. Happy has to leave because Carla was waiting for him. Oh she finally accepted his love about a year or so ago.

Standing off to the side staring at a red scarf Tatsu wanted it. "Papa!!  I get this scarf? I wan be just like you!!" He smiled brightly. Natsu was taken by his child's words and ran over and bought it for him.

"Well if you wanna look like dad then you gotta wear in like this" he side wrapping the scarf around his neck like he usually wears his. Natsu ruffled his hair then walked off again to buy more things.

*sniff* "Ahhh, that smells good.." Tatsu said as someone walked past in the crowd. Determined to figure out what it was he started to chase after it. He had a strong sense of smell just like his dad, so he knew he wouldn't lose them.

"Tatsu!!!" Ren yelled grabbing his hands and draggin him back. "What's wrong with you!?! Are you trying to get lost or kid napped!?" Tatsu looked down disappointed. "I sorry Ren... But they smelt real good!" He argued.

"Uncle Natsu! Aki tried runnin' off cause he was following that nose if his." "What Aki? You don't just chase after something cause it smells good" Natsu looked at him. "Like you have you room to talk! You were literally just running off because you smelt meat!"

Natsu laughed and scratched the back of his head. "Well I'd rather him have that habit of mine rather than you and Ren's habit of stripping." Tatsu started laughing. "Ren's a weirdo!" He giggled. Ren started chasing after him. "Papa papa help me!!" Tatsu clung to his fathers leg.

"Stop messing around fools you're in public." "Ahhh it's scary Erza!!!" Natsu and Gray started hugging... As well as Tatsu and Ren. "Hmph! You boys and your boys need some respect." Erza grabbed a few things then left in annoyance.

"Phew.. I can't stand it when Erza does that and in front of my kid! Making me look weak." Natsu huffed crossing his arms. "Crap! Ren we gotta go! It's time for dinner, you're moms gonna be so mad.." "Bye Aki, uncle Natsu!" Ren waved them off. "Bye bye Ren! Uncle Gray!!" Tatsu waved back then looked at his dad.

"I guess we should get going too huh? There anything else you want while we're out?" Natsu asked while he picked up the bags. Tatsu looked around then his eyes grew wide. "Dad... Can we get this flowers to put on mommas stand?"

Natsu stopped and closed his eye, turning around with a smiled smile on his face. "Yea buddy we sure can" he said kneeling down to help him pick out some flowers. "You think she'll like em'?" "I'm sure she would love them." The trip home was silent yet calming.

"Be quite in the building, dont wanna wake the land lady do you!" Tatsu shook his head really fast. "She scary dad" Natsu chuckled softly and got the keys out to open the door. As he opened the door a gust of wind blew past his face, sending the sweet smell of strawberries up his nose.

The house always smelt like strawberries because of Lucy, but today it was stronger and with a twist of vanilla. "Papa this is what I smelt earlier!" Tatsu whispered. Natsu dropped all his bags on the floor and ran into the house.

His heart was racing. He ran into the bedroom and looking around franticly. His eyes dared to shed tears, his lips were quivering, and he could barley stand.
