Normal POV

Smoke filled the dark night sky. Fire burning everything to a crisp. "Damn it" one shouted "Lucy are you okay?" He asked while holding her in his arms.

She blinked her eyes many times before finally being able to open them. "N-Natsuuu" she spoke softly closing her eyes.

The rage boiled in him once once, he carried Lucy to a safer spot and laid her down. "Stay safe" he then kissed her forehead and stood up.

The crimson red flames poured from his hands. "You're gonna pay for hurting Lucy you monster!"

Flashback

The few hour mission turned into a week long mission. They had to talk to many witnesses, find the monster, fight it.

And right before they could finish it off the monster would disappear. So they would have to wait for it to come back out.

Finally it decided to stay out and actually fight them till the end. The monster seemed to have drain almost everyone's magic energy and became for powerful.

The new found energy made the battle with Natsu and Lucy extremely difficult.

During the battle the monster had been attacking Natsu, trying to help Lucy had Taurus slam his ax into its tail. The monster responded in a large roar and swiped at Lucy.

Taurus jumped into front of her "look moo Ms. Lucy!!" He yelled as the monster sent him back to the spirit world. The tip of the monsters claw sliced open Lucy thigh.

She screamed out in agonizing pain. She tore off her sleeve and tied it around her thigh. "Gahhh! Argg" she screamed then held her mouth.

"Lushie!!" Happy flew to her. "Nashu" he panted "he's in trouble he needs help." Lucy stood through all the pain and started limping towards Natsu.

Tears fell from her face as the pain increased. Feeling bad Happy flew over and wrapped his tail around her waist and flew her to his best friend.

"Thank you Happy" she sighed. "Let's help Natsu" "aye" he said worried."Fire Dragon Brilliant flame!!" Natsu shouted attacking the monster.

Happy and Lucy flew to him. Once happy sat Lucy down she gritted her teeth and pulled out her keys. "Open gate of that lion Leo!" Loke appeared and started fighting besides Natsu.

Lucy sensed something and turned around, to her surprise it was hurt first master Mavis. "M-Mavis? What are you doing here!?" She asked confused.

"I sensed danger with a powerful monster so I came to see. But I see is something horrible" Mavis spoke. "What do you mean?"

"Oh dear, I can't be near you Lucy." Her eyes opened in terror. "Natsu! Son of igneel!" Natsu's head jolted back "wha, Mavis? There must be a way to -"

His eyes opened widely "LUCY!!!" The monster lifted its foot and was about to stomped on Lucy. Natsu jumped over her and projected her from the blow but over all it still hurt the living crap out of both of them. (End)

Normal POV

"Natsu! Don't let your angry take over you again!" Mavis yelled. "How can I not, look what that monster did, he hurt my Lucy!" He screamed charging the monster.

Natsu and the monster fought and fought. "Lushie, please wake up" Happy pleaded crying into her chest. "Unh Happy... *takes a deep breathe*

"I'm awake don't cry." Lucy whispered slowly patting the little neko's head. "Happy we're Natsu?" She asked trying to sit up. Happy was about to talk when Mavis came over.

"Lucy, don't come near me any closer.. I don't want to hurt you." Lucy's eye brows stocked together, "First master, what are you talking about, how would you hurt me?" Mavis sighed.

"Lucy, I'm immortal you see, I'm cursed, there's something precious which you'll hold dear to you I don't want to take it away" "Natsu.." Lucy whispered to her self.

"Lucy I have to go, I must stop him from turning into E.N.D" Lucy's eyes opened in horror "no...-n-no he, he promised me!!"she screamed as she got up to her feet and took off running.

"Lushie!!" Happy chased after her. "I will save Natsu even I die trying!" "Lucy, I can't let you do that." Mavis yelled as she went ahead of Lucy straight to Natsu.

"Natsu! You must control your self. Or you'll change again." Natsu gritted his teeth. "How else am I suppose to kill it then!" "Natsu, Lucy is on her way to try and stop you. She's willing to die to save you."

His face lightened "Lucy, Mavis keep her back please" he begged. "I'll only kill Lucy Natsu, my curse is far to strong." "But you've been around us before I don't under stand"

"It's different now Natsu, Lucy ...."she whispered the last part for only Natsus ears "I don't know what that means!" Mavis giggled, "you'll understand soon enough"

Her face straightened. "That is if you can stop your self" "Natsu!!!" Natsu turned and found Lucy running into him. "Kya!!!" They both fell on the ground. "You're okay, you're okay thank goodness."

Lucy clung onto him. He patted her head and sighed. "Lucy I'm fine really just get out of here. It's not saf-" "no. I'm not leaving you Natsu. I see it in your eyes. That demonic glow I'm not letting you go again. You're not gonna change on me."

Mavis hovered to them "sorry to brake up you two up but there's still a giant monster right there." The monster roared and attacked. "I've gotta finish this" Lucy stood up.

"I'm helping. I'll use something called shining star shower. It's a powerful spell that destroys anything to cause harm to the caster." Natsu was hesitant but let her help.

"Fire Dragon Iron Fist!!" "Stars in the sky, shining in the night, shoot through the sky's and help me fight!" The constellations shifted and rained down upon the monster weakening it. Giving Natsu the chance to finish it off.

"Fire Drag-curse Fire" Lucy looked up to him "Natsu? Ahh" she gasped. Natsu killed the monster off with one final blow. But when doing so he transformed into E.N.D.

"Lucy i-i did it, I won..." Natsu smiled as he fell to the ground. "Natsu!! Wake up idiot! I told you not lose control!" Happy dove into Natsu's chest. "Nushu wake up..."

Mavis touch his head and I was as if time it's self stop. "Nani? Mavis?" Mavis closed her eyes and took a deep breathe. " Lucy I'm allowing you to spend tonight with Natsu, but after wards I'm takin him. "

"I'm going to see if I can use my curse power to remove his with out killing him." Tears brimmed in Lucy's eyes

"No! I won't let you take him from me. I've only had him back for a couple months! I can't live with out him." She yelled crying into his now marked chest.

"No no no" "Lucy I'm sorry but if I let him stay, both of your futures will be endangered." She wrapped her arms around his neck and lifted his head onto her lap.

"Why, I just want to be with him, live with him, have a family, grow old. But why why must something always get in the way." She cried and cried.

A hand moved and brushed her tears from her cheeks "shh don't cry Luce" she grabbed his hand and held into her face crying harder. "Natsu are you really going to leave me again?"

Natsu sat up and pulled her in his lap while wrapping his arms around her. "I'm so sorry Lucy... But I promise with all my heart I'll only be gone for a few months okaaay?"

"No no you can't go not even for a few months" "damn it Lucy do you want me to kill you!" After realizing what he yelled he hung his head low.

"You'll have the night together, in the morning I'll come for you Natsu, gomenasai Lucy." Mavis spoke as she dissappeared.

Natsu stood up in his demon form and carried Lucy. "I'm gonna send you inside for the reward then we'll go home okay?" Lucy nodded and ran inside.

After having the Mayor apologize for all the trouble and thanking her and Natsu boarded a train and headed home. Natsu wore a cloak to hide him self.

Lucy slept in his arms as he was no longer motion sick on the train. He played with her hair and thought about what Mavis told him.

'Ahh I still don't know what that means!! Should I ask Lucy? I'm sure she knows what that word is. Nah Lucy probably already knows since Mavis said its about her. I don't know'

"hmm Natsu?" Lucy opened her chocolate brown eyes and looked up Natsu slowly smiling. "Are we almost home?" He nodded, with everyone talking Happy ended up waking up as well.

He crawled out of Natsu's cloak yawning "Natsu you're not sick?" He asked Natsu confused. "Seems when I'm in the form it doesn't bother me"

"Next stop is in Five Minutes in the city of Magnolia" the attendant called out. After the five minutes had past Natsu, Lucy and Happy made their way off the train to Lucys.

Once inside Lucy ran and started a bubble bath. "Natsu go bathe your self" he did as she asked. "Hey Luce!" He called to her. Covering her eyes she poked her head in "whatcha nee-Kya!!! Natsuuuu!!"

She screamed as Natsu pulled her into the bubbles. "Nani!! Baka!! Are you stupid!!" He wrapped his arms around her torso and buried his face in the nape of her neck. Lucy's face flushed.

"Natsu.." He squeezed her a little "I really don't wanna leave ya Luce.." Lucy turned around and hugged him tightly. "I don't you to leave either" she started to cry. He pulled out of the hug and cupped her face.

"I love you so much Lucy" he leaned and kissed her. She wrapped her armed around his neck and kissed him back. "I .. Love ...... You .. Too.." She muttered in the kiss.

They stayed in the tub kissing passionately for a long time. Now completely out of breathe they break apart. Lucy laid into his chest and he sunk down into the tub some more.

"Lucy promise me you'll wait for me." "Natsu, you know I always will" "good, cuz when I get back I'm gonna ask you to marry me." Lucy's eyes grew wide.

"N-natsu. Why did you just tell me!" "Dang it!! I'm so stupid" he face palmed "but I'm still gonna ask you because who knows maybe you'll change you mind later so I have ask again."

Lucy smiled softly "you're such a weirdo but that's why I love you." She crawled out of the tub and took off the wet clothes wrapping towel around herself going to change.

Natsu drained the tub and walked over to the mirror, all he saw was his demonic form. 'The fact that Lucy can still look at me like this and love me, kiss me, not fear me. It makes me so happy.'

Natsu put some shorts on and went and laid on the bed. Lucy walked over and crawled in next to him. "Natsu don't let go of me at all tonight okay? I want to be next to you as long as I possible can"

She nuzzled into his chest. "Okay I won't" he said wrapping his arms around her and locking their fingers.

It was around 5 am Mavis stood on the side of their bed. "Natsu it's time to go" Natsu broke away from Lucy and put the rest of his clothes on. Before they left he ran over and planted one last kiss on her lips.

"I love you so much Lucy, I'll be back soon I promise" he whispered before him and Mavis left. A few hours after they left Lucy woke and noticed Natsu was gone, tears filled her eyes and she started bawling.

Feelin sick, she ran into the bathroom she threw up. "Lucy calm your self down, your making your self sick, Baka..."

Exams are over so I was able to really think and I have a lot planned for the next few chapters😁 enjoy 💕
