??? POV

'I know this smell!! I love this smell! Kind of smells like strawberries!' I followed the smell as it grew stronger and stronger. It lead me to the middle of the park by the old Sakura tree.

I walked up slowly and peeked around the corner, I looked down to see a blonde sleeping against the tree, hugging her self. "Chu!" She rubbed her nose but continued to sleep. She's probably cold, it is chilly out here. I took off my cloak and laid it on her.

I smiled softly showing off my toothy grin. I noticed a small book on the ground and picked it up. 'Hope she doesn't mind me reading this' I thought, climbing up to the tree and sitting on its limbs. I opened the book and read it.

Dear diary,

So I met this guy today. He's loud and never stops eating but he saved me twice. Him and his flying blue neko. He destroyed half the town tho -.- but guess what! He took my to fairy tail to join the guild! I can't believe I'm in fairy tail now!

I chuckled reading what was written.

Dear diary,

Natsu asked me to join his team. I'm happy, he was my first friend in the guild so it cool were on a team. We also had our first job today, but we didn't get payed. Him and Happy made me dress like a maid it was so embarrassing but I got the Gate key Virgo from this! She keeps asking for punishment, kind of weird..

I skipped a few pages.

Dear diary,

Today's the cherry blossom festival. I'm stuck at home sick, I heard it suppose to be really fun...

I woke up a little while ago and realized the festivals is probably still goes on. When I saw something out side my window. When i looked out I saw it, the rainbow cherry blossom tree floating by on a boat past my apartment. Hm I wonder what idiot would do this. Oh course it was Natsu. He's so sweet I love being his partner.

*skips more pages*

Dear diary,

So we've been frozen in time for seven years. I found out that da-father past away not to long ago. He left me so many things waiting for me to come back. I can't stop crying. I miss him so much. I loved him, even though things were bad between us doesn't mean I didn't love him. I gonna go now, Natsus trying to get me to go on a mission with him. I'll go i know it will make me feel better. He always knows how to cheer me up.

I felt the pages they were crisp and the words were runny. She must have been crying when she wrote this.

Page after page was about everything she had done, being beaten badly, Natsu fighting for her, winning the grand magic games, future Lucy coming an dying in her arms, her fight to save her celestial spirits.

I finally got to the latest pages. They weree all about Natsu. How he left, how much she missed him, how she never got to tell him how she felt about him.

Some were about how her friends all finally confessed their feelings and are together. Then the last page. It was unfinished. Most of the last pages were crisp probably from her crying. Especially her latest entire.

I rubbed my eyes and yawned. I'm pretty tired my self. I found my self in a dream.

Lucy's POV

The wind blew really hard causing me to wake up. I blinked my eyes several times before I was completely awake. I hadn't even noticed the cloak on my body.

I looked around for my diary but couldn't find it. That's when I noticed the cloak. 'Someone covered me and stole my diary!' I jumped up and continued to look for it but couldn't find it. Ugh.

I felt some leaves fall on my head from above so naturally I decided to look up. Looking up I saw him. Sleeping across the tree branch with my diary in his lap. I opened my eyes widely. My heart was racing, was my mind playing tricks on me?

Was it really the pink head idiot? 'Natsu, Natsu, Natsu' I had his name running through my head. "Natsu? Natsu? NATSU?" I felt my voice and time getting louder and louder before I finally just screamed his name as loud as I could "NATSUUU!!!!"

Natsus POV

"NATSUUU!!!" I heard my name being screamed. It scared the crap out of me while I was sleeping. I jumped and fell out of the tree.

*thud*

"Ouch" I said rubbing my butt as I stood up. I looked over and saw Lucy standing in front of me her face was still in stock, she kept end repeating my name over and over, she had tears pouring out of her eyes.

She walked over to me and raised her hand. I closed my eyes waiting for her tiny little hands to slap me. I waited for a second but it never came instead i felt something soft wrap around the back of my hand and neck. I felt my head jerk forward.

I opened my eyes wide to see my scarf around my neck and Lucy pulling me into a KISS! I was really shocked at first but I was so happy. I closed my eyes and wrapped one arm around her waist and held her head in my free hand.

I hadn't realized how much I've wanted to kiss her or long I've waited. When she pulled away she still held onto my scarf, she had tears in her eyes "Natsu.. I lo" "love you too Lucy" I cut her off before she could speak.

"H-hey I wa" I put my finger on her lips "I've been waiting four years to tell you that" her eye flickered "what are you talking about?" She asked me.

"Four years ago after my body had already disappeared I was still kind of there, right before I completely left I heard you start crying. It hurt so much to leave you. But then I heard you say "I love you Natsu" right as I left. I wished I would have told you I love you too Lucy. But those four words pushed me everyday to try and get back to you." I smiled as a tear fell from my eye.

When I looked at Lucy she was crying her eyes out, she hugged my tightly 'man she got strong' "N-Natsu .. I missed you so much!" I tilted her head up and kissed her again. It's so nice finally being able to kiss her.

"I missed you Lucy, you don't even know how much." We both smiled at each other. "Hey Natsu? ... Do you mind me asking what happened and why you're not a demon any more?" I sighed.

"Let's go home and talk about it tomorrow I'm really tired" my stomach growled, I scratched my head " and hungry. Plus I wanna go to the guild tomorrow I'd rather only have to explain once."

Lucy nodded and grabbed her diary off the ground then opened her eyes really wide

*smack!*

"OW!! What was that for?" I yelled rubbing my head. "You read my diary! ...That's personal." She started blushing "

"I just wanted to know all your secrets" I whispered in her ear " and it seems like you've actually love me this whole time" I smirked like a fool.

*smack!*

"Natsu you big meany!!!!" She took off running , of course I ran off after her and grabbed her hand. I pulled her up and carried her bridal style running her apartment. She held on to me tightly as I ran, every now and then I would hear her giggle.

"Wow Luce your apartments huge now!" I exclaimed. She giggled "that's because I bought the room next store and expanded" I looked around till I saw the fridge I started running to it when I felt something tug me back.

"Not so fast Dragneel go take a shower, you look like you haven't showered in months" "uggggghh fine" I walk in then poked my head out "but I'm sure you haven't changed your Pervy ways so don't come in" I winked out her, and ended up with a shoe in my face.

Lucy's POV

I can't stop smiling!! Natsus finally back I'm so happy. And he loves me back! Oh my Mavis! I can't believe I kissed him! I didnt even know how he felt about me ahh. Calm down Lucy. Breathe.

I guess I'll start cooking .. I don't have much food. I wasn't really expecting a Natsu for dinner so. I scratched my head.

Looks like I have chicken and pasta, chicken pasta it is! I started cooking and singing a song my mom used to sing to me all the time when I was little.

I flinched when I felt a pair of warm arms come up behind me and hug me. "This seems all too familiar" he said laying his head between my neck and shoulder. "Probably cause it's the last meal I cooked for us."

I slipped out of his hug and walked around him. He looked down at his empty arms confused "Oi! What's the meaning of this!" He said still looking at his empty arms. I couldn't help but giggle

"Do you want food or to hug me?" I said lifting an eye brow. He stood deep in thought, I sighed and pushed him over to the table. "I didn't know you were actually gonna think about it, usually you would have yelled food immediately."

"Yea but it's different now, I'd rather you than food Luce" he said sitting down. I started blushing I couldn't help it, it's weird hearing your best friend/ person you love say things like that, Especially Natsu.

I grabbed the food and place it in front of his face. His eyes lite up and he started devouring it. That's my weirdo. I sat down and ate my food, I told him about everything that's changed while he was gone. We sat back talking it felt like old times.

I stood up and laid down on my bed, Natsu laid down on the couch. "Natsu.. You can l-lay with m-me if you want" I was blushing again, why is this so weird it's not like we haven't slept in the same bed before.

He showed me his signature toothy grin and jumped on the bed getting comfy. "Hey Luce can you hold something for me?" Natsu asked nudging my arm. "Yea what is it?"I said lifting my hand up, he put his hand up to mine then interlocked out fingers together.

Pink lite across my face 'ahh that was so cute Natsu!' I smiled and leaned over kissing his cheek.

"Goodnight Natsu" "Goodnight Lucy"

And the ship sails!!! I thought about this chapter all day while at school. I couldn't wait to get home and write it.
