Tonight on RAW, it was going to be Seth and myself versus Enzo and Big Cass, believe it or not. In storyline, that was punishment for costing Enzo the match last week. I would have to share the ring with Seth and tag with him. My day just gets better and better, doesn't it?

About ten or so minutes before the match was to take place, I was sitting backstage by myself at the moment. I had a soda can that was spinning around in the palm of my left hand while my other hand rested underneath my jawline.

I was simply and utterly so tired already tonight and wanted to run to my room at the local hotel for some peace and quiet. Oh, and sleep! Definitely that!

"Hey, good looking," I heard someone say behind me, but I didn't perk my head up to see who it was. I was just assuming that whoever the male voice belonged to, they were talking to someone else. Definitely not me.

But, then, all of the sudden, someone appeared behind me, slamming their fists on the table I was currently sitting at. That's when I looked up and seen Seth, himself, standing there.

"Good looking?" I coughed out, making sure I had heard him correctly before.

"Oh," he squeaked out. Now, he's looking awkward standing there. "Not you. Was talking to someone else."

I took a moment to look around the area, in which no one was around at the moment. A matter of fact, I didn't hear anyone before either. Okay...? "Whatever," I scoffed, trying to remain calm. "What do you want?"

"I have some news that I have tell you, actually," he said as calmly as possible. I couldn't believe how calm he was, to be honest.

"What is it?" I asked, deadly serious. He better not fucking laugh in my face again!

"I was just speaking with Steph and she said that she wants us to kiss on-screen tonight," he admitted, looking very serious.

However, this nearly cost me my life because I nearly threw up my lunch from earlier. Immediately, I frantically shook my head and replied, "No. Hell no. I'm not. I only agreed to this because we didn't have to just because we're on-screen lovers or whatever."

"What? You act like I want to kiss you, too? Hell no," he scoffed, rolling his eyes. He pulled out a chair across from me and sits down in it. "Then, we don't. We just... improvise."

I just stared at him as gentle as it sounds. He was being so polite at the moment and not only did his words say so, but so did his actions. In a split second there, I forgot how much of an asshole that he was. I had forgotten that he's nothing more than an straight-up asshole.

He was simply Colby Lopez. Another human being living his lifelong dream.

"What do we do, then?" I finally decided to ask after what it seemed like an eternity later. I hope that I didn't give away that I was staring too hard on him.

He shrugged and suggested, "We just don't kiss. We do other stuff, like hug closely and... Shit, I don't know. We just fucking improvise."

"Whatever," I sighed, just giving in to his little plan.

"Seth Rollins and Scarlett Knight to the curtain!" The intercom cut us off from the incoming announcement.

So, side by side, we got up and headed to the main curtain to where we would make our awaited entrance at. His music started and, as part of storyline, I intertwined our fingers together. We headed out to a choir and mixed reactions of cheers and boos.

He and I were awfully close, considering the fact that our hands were wrapped up and our bodies were far from being stuck together like glue. Especially when he stopped in front of the ring and made my body stop right in front of his as we stood together, taunting Enzo and Cass from outside.

When we didn't move for a few minutes, both Enzo and Cass came up to the ropes and held it wide open for me. I glanced back at Seth and shrugged, hopping up on the apron and accepted this entrance into the ring.

Seth blew up on the outside and, soon, slid inside and started to get in both of their faces. In return, they exchanged a knowing look between the two and double-teamed Seth by putting him on his ass, via a huge shove.

If this was a real life fight, I would've let them break him in two, but since this was a scripted storyline, I had to quickly come to Seth's defense. So, I stood in front of his downed body and try to get them to stop hounding him. Enzo and Cass exchanged a small smile, like they knew each other like the back of their hands, and Cass leaped forward, pulling me over his right shoulder.

I started to kick and scream when for him to let me down, but to no result. Enzo had went outside and got a chair, seeking revenge on Seth like how he did to him last week. I had no power in this while Cass held me and Enzo played with fire.

With the kicking so much, my foot must have hit someone – most likely Enzo – as I slid over Cass' back onto my own two feet. I was standing there with Cass and Enzo on the ground from when I had kicked him. Cass started coming my way and, despite the fact he was wounded, Seth got up and threw him out of the ring.

With Enzo still on the ground, taking a knee, I took this chance and geared myself up for an alternative version of Shawn Michaels' "Sweet Chin Music" and kicked him right in the chin, taking him out for a while.

After that, I took the steel chair outside with me to help Seth with Cass. I ran out right in the middle of the chaos and had the chair directly in front of my face. Seth stood behind him as Cass came around the corner of the ring, and that's when I felt the sudden impact of the chair to my face, thanks to Cass' big ass boot.

Out of instinct, I fell right back into Seth, resulting in him crashing to the ground with me. I felt his damn knee in the small of my back, which made matters worse dye my newest injuries.

I was sprawled out on top of Seth, having every little part of his body touching mine, with my eyes closed. I touched my nose, which hurt the most, and felt liquid. With that, I opened my eyes up and seen red goo coming from it. Lovely, I thought to myself.

Then, I looked past my fingertips of blood and seen Cass hovering over us. I heaved, thinking that he's not done, and that's when my body is being turned around on my frontside. Seth had done that to... protect me?

It had become clear as day as I seen him up on Cass, trying his best to fight him off. As he shoved Cass shoulder-first into the barricade, he ran back towards me and started to help me up. Thinking that he was just going to help me stand on my own two feet again, he surprised me by taking my body into his arms and carrying me up the ramp.

I must have gotten dizzy because I started to fade in and out of consciousness. I took that chair shot hard as fuck and my face numbing up prove it, too. I couldn't blame Cass, though, because he was told to do this. The man just doesn't know his own strength.

"Stay with me, Ellie," I heard Seth say and I couldn't believe it. Stay with him? He actually fucking cares? Wow... "We'll about to be in the doctor's room. Stay awake, Ellie. Stay with me."

"I'm here," I managed to say; though, my eyes were closed. "I just hate seeing my own blood."

"It's alright," he mumbled, apparently understanding. I heard a door squeak open and he say, "Here we are."

"What happened?" I heard the doctor ask Seth, all serious business.

I felt him placing me on the long table and explained, "She took a hell of a chair shot out there and her nose is bleeding. It's not broke, is it?"

"Let me see," Doc whispered and I felt his cold hands touch my face. He must have had a napkin because the blood was being wiped off. "It's not broke, but I agree that she took a hell of a shot. It'll stop bleeding soon, Ellie."

I nodded and decided to finally open my eyes, smiling at the doctor. "Thanks, Doc," I thanked him and shot up.

He handed me some napkins to place under my nose to help the bleeding. With a nod, he said: "No problem. Be safer next time."

I nodded, understanding, and sat up, hit nearly fell first. Seth was immediately by my side, holding out his arm for me to take for help. I took it within mine, intertwining our arms together, as he guided me out of the room and into a hallway.

"Are you sure you're okay?" he asked, trying to make eye contact with me. I allowed it to happen as I went to stare into his dark eyes.

Nodding, I replied: "Yeah. I'm fine, I think."

"Good," he sighed, but then I seen something new happen with him. He flinched, seeming suddenly angry. "I should beat his ass for what he did."

"Seth, I'm fine," I tried reassuring him, trying to keep him calm and steady.

"Yeah, I realize that, but," he paused for a moment with an heavy huff, "he really could've hurt you, Ellie. Could've broke your nose or worse!"

"But he didn't," I squeaked out, finding my voice to become hoarse all of the sudden. "So, it's okay. I'm okay. It was just a small accident that'll never happen again."

Finally, he gave in and nodded, still heaving over there. I couldn't believe how angry he had become over this little accident. Surely, I thought he – out of all people – would've left me there to find my own way backstage. Fortunately, he didn't and I'm thankful for it.

Staring deeply at the man next to me, who was still fuming, I couldn't help but wonder what the hell was going on in that hard head of his. Did he care or what?

"Where's Ellie? Anyone seen Ellie?" I heard Cass yelling nearby, yearning closer.

"Right here, Cass," I sighed, but tried to stay strong for him.

He and Enzo ran right up to Seth and myself, instantly worried and relieved in one motion. Cass came up to me first and took me by the shoulders, making me hug him. "Are you okay? Please say that you are!"

"Yeah, and no thanks to you," Seth huffed from behind me.

I turned towards him with a dirty look, saying: "Really, Seth? That doesn't help matters here. It's not his fault, now stop."

Cass was obviously already upset, even before Seth had said something. "I'm sorry, Ellie. It wasn't supposed to be that hard."

I waved it off and smiled. "It's no problem. I'll live."

Enzo came forward and hugged me, too. Only a second later did Lillie show up to curse Cass out and to make sure that I was alright as well.

After Lillie had shown up, that's when I seen Seth just walk away with a very concerned look painted across his attractive face.

• Yes, y'all, it IS okay to cry, too... 😭 Wtf, Seth?! With your sudden mood swings, nobody – including myself and Ellie – can keep up your shit. Fuck... Anyways, y'all, Happy 🦃 Day to you guys! Enjoy 💚 All the love .xx •
