Two Weeks Later...
I'm all ready to go! Really, I am. I haven't felt this good in such a long time. Maybe getting hit by a car was the wake-up call I needed to live longer and happier.
Things between myself and Baron have cooled down since the accident. He has accepted the fact that he will stay with his wife and leave me the hell alone, but comes only to me as a friend. I wouldn't want anything else, to be honest.
I'm back in the ring and, this Sunday, I'm scheduled to a championship match with Lillie at WrestleMania! I was so happy that I came back just in time. And, thankful to Baron, he didn't ever tell anyone else what happened between myself and him before my incident.
My life is in puzzle pieces. It's practically shattered. It's like taking a wooden baseball bat and slamming it directly through glass, being my life. It doesn't matter how good that I feel, nothing will be complete until...
"Seth," I whispered out his name and slightly caressed his arm, just so he wouldn't leave. He turned and faced me, recourse in his eyes. Roman, whom he was talking about, nodded with a smile and ran off right as I showed up.
Seth snatched his arm away and crossed his arms across his lower stomach. "What is it, Ellie?" He didn't at all sound upset or angry at me. He just seemed like he really wanted to know what was going on, despite how his actions were at the moment.
I gulped and thought for another minute. We were both standing in the hallway of most of our rooms were at. Roman had taken the sign and left early, sneaking into his room to leave us be. Seth's door was behind him while mine was a couple of doors down, where I was bunking with Lillie and Enzo. Like always, that is.
"Can we talk real quick? Please?" I whispered, but was actually begging. We needed to talk before it builds up any longer and we just blow up on each other alas.
To my surprise, he nodded and signaled for me to enter through his hotel room's door. Silently, I accepted his offer and slowly walked inside. He came in after me and shut the door quietly.
As if we were in slow-motion, he walked passed me and went straight to his bed. He dusted off a spot at the very end of his bed and took a seat, slouching his shoulders, as he waited for me to come take a seat beside him. So, I did and the room was filled with the most awkward silence ever.
It's funny, really. And, to a point, I wanted to bust out laughing. It would be more awkward between us if I did that, though, so I decided against it. Yeah, but what was so funny to me was what I told Lillie at the start of Seth and my storyline together. I think that I recall saying to her, something along the lines of... "I am not going to fall for Seth Rollins." Yet, that's what I've done already and he may not even return the feelings, either.
"So," he sighed, trying to get the conversation rolling. I needed to talk and say something already... But what?
Okay, um... "So," I gulped out, blinking a few times to clear my mind. I slapped my hands on each of my knee and swallowed hard. I glanced over at him and tried to find his eyes. "First off, how are you?"
He suddenly began to clear his throats awkwardly and glanced back at me. Obviously, that was the wrong move on my part. Should I had been direct? Nevertheless, he just nodded and replied: "I'm fine, I think. How about you? Haven't really seen you since your accident."
I nodded and responded, "I'm good. The recovery was very quick, as I wanted it to be, so I can get back to the ring. I can't be doing stuff like that again. Y'know?" I looked up at him at that part and our eyes met, so I quickly looked back down and gulped loudly. "Anyways... Uh..."
"Yeah, um...," he shuddered with a shrug. He was looking down at his lap just like I was, at the moment, too. We didn't have the words. Maybe, in our heads before all this, we had them down. In person, it's totally different.
The words that I wanted to say wouldn't be able to be said, so what's the point of sitting here and wasting time? It's obviously that he didn't want to talk. At this point, I didn't want to, either. I'm done.
"Okay," I coughed out and stood up, clapping my hands together. I pointed to the door and tried for a smile, but didn't succeed because it came out to be too weak. "I better go. Goodbye, Seth."
"Ellie? Wait," he called after me, finally talking louder than he has before tonight.
I got to the door and opened it wide, ready to jump out and run away back to my room. However, before I could, the door had slammed and made me jump nearly ten feet in the air. He had his hand on the door, keeping me locked inside here with him.
"We need to talk. You said so yourself," he growled loudly, stepping in front of the door as his body pressed against it and his arms crossed across his chest. "Then, let's talk, Ellie. What's up? Tell me."
I rolled my eyes and held my hand up. "No, Seth. Not this way!"
"Not this way?" he barked, now getting in my face. "What's that mean? What's change, El? What's good, hm?"
I rolled my eyes again and huffed loudly, now running to the other side of the room. I had my fingers in my hair, thinking of tearing it out strand by strand. This is why we never got along. One gets offended and, then, the other does as well. Mostly I get offended, but that's besides the point here.
"You know what, Seth?" I turned towards him and got in his face.
"What, El?" he yelled back.
I stuck my finger in his face and exclaimed, "You make me crazy! Super fucking crazy! To a point where I can't ever be around you again!"
"I make you crazy?" he bellowed, signaling towards himself. He blinked a few times in disbelief. "You make me crazy! I'm tired of trying with you! Every time that I put my guard down for you... And you do this!"
"I do what? What do I do, Seth?!"
"You make me crazy, obviously," he huffed back, having all his energy built up into one. He jumped closer to me and gritted his teeth. "Fucking crazy! But I... I hate you! Yeah, that's right! I do!"
I gulped, yet kept my cool at the same time. He didn't mean that. I know that he didn't. "Oh, you do? You sure about that?"
He nodded and replied, "Yup! That's right! I do! I fucking hate you!"
"Why? Why do you hate me for?" I felt the blood rushing to my head as I tried to keep the tears away, but they were slowly coming, though, now.
"Because," he hissed and got closer than ever to me. "Because I fucking love you!"
I nearly fell back in disbelief, but I tried remain calm and cool. As if, it hadn't affected me at all. So, I bit my lip and yelled back: "And what you going to do about that? Huh?"
"This," he hissed before he launched himself at me.
He gripped my jacket and quickly snatched it off, throwing it someplace else. Then, he smacked his lips to mine like a head-on collusion. He slammed against the wall, where a dresser was located at. He sat me down on top of that and wrapped his arms around me.
This had to happen. It was about time, at least. His touch, his kisses, his everything was designed to be with me for the rest of our lives. Even if it is for the time being, it's amazing.
He pulled my tank top over my head and threw it away before I took his off as well. We started to work our way down, trying our best to get each other's jeans off in perfect timing.
Then, he picked me up, making sure to trail kisses down my neck and shoulders, and threw me on the bed. He kept on kissing me, coming up occasionally to kiss my lips between where he was on my neck and places such as that.
After we were both naked, his body on top of mine, and my legs tangled around his waist, he was still kissing me my neck and chest area. I was busy playing with his dark, curly hair. "What are you doing?" he mumbled through his kisses.
"Look at me," I whispered, grabbing him by his hair and making him look up at me. He quickly asked me what was going on and I simply admitted, "I really love you, too. Just thought that you should know."
With that said, he smiled from ear to ear – like he was truly happy now – and leaned up, placing a soft kiss on my lips. And, so, I closed my eyes and sunk slowly into him. It was as easy as ever...
—
Afterwards, he laid next to one another in bed as he had his arm wrapped around my small body and I had an arm dragged over his. I was using my fingers to play with his chest hair and giggled while doing so, which he found to be very funny as well.
"Ugh," he breathed out, hitting his head. "I can't stand it."
"What?" I chuckled, watching his facial expression.
He looked down at me and said, "Saying that I love you and all that. It's different. I'm used to saying it in my head than aloud, to be honest."
I thought that it was really romantic, so I trained not to laugh. Instead, I decided to hug him tight and kiss his hand. "Same here. I mean... Never in my life did I think that we would say it to each other."
He nodded and sighed. "Love... Is truly something, huh?" I nodded to that. "And, to think, we truly did hate each other so much in the beginning."
Again, I nodded to that, looked up at him with a bright smile, and admitted: "Well... To be honest, I didn't think this would happen beyond the bedroom. Nevertheless, I do love you."
"I love you more," he grinned and kissed my lips once again.
As we began to sink back into it, I suddenly heard my phone going crazy on the bedside and, so, I placed my index finger on his lips to stop them from coming at me. I turned around and furrowed my arm out to grab it. I grabbed it and used Seth's body to hold it up for me. He giggled when it vibrated it on him.
I didn't even see who it was before I answered it with nothing but giggles. "Hello?"
"Ellie?" came a very familiar woman's voice call out through the phone at me. "Ellie, what are you doing? You're laughing? That's different."
"Shit," I silently cursed as I placed her on mute and turned to Seth with wide-eyes. "It's Lillie! What do I do?"
"What do you mean?" He jumped up and asked, scared. "Tell her you're with me?!"
"Should I?" I asked him while I heard Lill yelling on the line. I shrugged and un-muted her. "Lill, look... I'm with somebody right now."
"Somebody?!" she screamed and there was Zo in the background, asking her to calm down. "It better not be Baron!"
I rolled my eyes and, to my surprise, Seth did, too. We're over it, thank God. "No, not him."
"Then, who?!" She was going ham, turkey, and the whole Thanksgiving dinner. She had no patience, after all, much like her mother.
"Lill...," I sighed, biting my lip.
Seth smiled and snatched the phone from me. "Hey, Lill! It's Seth," he began to tell her and she immediately screamed. "I'm with Ellie now and, I have to say it – since I will start very soon, but I love her! She'll be home soon! We love you! Bye!"
He hung up and we laughed. Ending the night with laughter and kisses.
