First of all, guys, before you start reading this chapter...
I have a quick question to ask that I hope most of you will answer down in the comment section!
Q1: Would you read a WD (Walking Dead) fan-fiction about Glenn Rhee?
Q2: If so, should I make a short story or a long story starting from S1 to S7 (or so)?
Q3: Would you read it, even IF Maggie was not Glenn's love interest?
Here's the cover:
Let me know down below!
Thank you!
And, now, back to the story...

I seen the crash before I heard it. It all happened right in front of me, but I couldn't hear anything. Nothing at all.
I felt the vibration from my phone in my front pocket going off. It could've been Cass, checking to see where we were. Or, if anything, it definitely could've been my wife, checking to see what I was doing.
Either way, none of that mattered as I watched the love of my life fade right in front of my eyes...
(BRB, CRYING 😭)
Everything that followed after that was in slow motion, yet... It was so fast. It's crazy.
The car missed her. Barley. Then, when the coasts was clear on her other side, she began to walk again, but not before she spun around and was hit by another car.
I remember running right to her and holding her broken body in my arms. I shook her in a small way of reviving her, but not to avail. I laid her down on the pavement and hovered over her. The driver got out of his car and stood there in shock. I called to him: "Go get help! Call 991! Now!"
However, before I could see it coming, he ran back into his car and sped away. If I could've, I would've tracked him down and beat the bloody hell out of him. He should be thankful that I didn't to begin with.
"I'll call 991," a random girl on the street called to me, already having her iPhone out.
Mentally, I thanked her, but my full focus was on Ellie and keeping her alive, no matter what I had to do. "C'mon, Ellie," I whispered to her, shaking her some more. Again, I got the same result. She wasn't waking up and, when I felt for her pulse, it was very weak. I had to do something. Anything.
"I'm sorry, Ellie," I said to her before I placed my hands on her chest and started to do chest compressions. When nothing helped, I smashed my lips to her and tried giving her mouth-to-mouth. Then, again, with the same routine as before with the chest compressions and mouth-to-mouth. "I'm sorry, Ellie. I'm so sorry, baby."
Then, out of nowhere, I heard the ambulance getting closer and closer, followed by police sirens. Before I could even gather my thoughts, the paramedics came in and asked if I was okay, but all I could say is: "Ellie... She's hurt."
They picked her up and placed her on a gurney, shoving her in the back of the ambulance. I insisted that I go with her and call Cass on the way. They allowed me to, only because I told them that I was her husband.
In another life, maybe I was always supposed to be. However, tonight, I was crying over the girl that got away...

Lillie was crying when I got to her. And, through a veil of tears, she told me what was going on.
"C'mon," I told her, pulling on her wrist and dragging her with me.
"What? Why? Where are we going?" she cried, clearly still in a state of shock to know what was going on around her.
"We gotta go see Ellie at the hospital," I told her, still in a state of shock as well. Turning around, I yelled out: "Let's go, Zo! Cass, let's go!"
"Coming," Cass said back while dragging Zo with him. Cass was okay, for the most part. Zo, however, wasn't doing so good. He was in the same state as Lillie was at the moment.
In the parking lot, I shoved Lillie in the backseat while Cass shoved Zo in with her. I got in the driver's seat while Cass got in the passenger seat. "Hit it," he demanded and I did just that, stomping on the gas and getting the hell out of there.
On the way there, it was almost like it was a blur. I could hear her voice and see her face, but she wasn't there. She just... She wasn't there.
You're nothing more than a pretty face that runs this dysfunctional place! You walk around here like you're all high and mighty, wanting every single person to kiss your ass for you. When one person doesn't fall under your spell, you have to punish them for even wanting to be alive! I hate to break it to you, but you're not the only one whose dream it is to be a wrestler in the WWE!
She was the world and I was just the person living among her. She was the sun and I was the moon. She was the dreamer that deserved me while I was just a nobody who didn't deserve her or her love.
I'm not going to lie... I don't think that I was ever going to talk to her again because of how bad I felt after everything happened. Now, I might never get to talk to her ever again. Not because I don't want to, but because she might die – if she's not already.
I loved her. I loved her more than I have ever loved another person, including myself and Sasha. I loved her and that's why I couldn't forgive her immediately after our night together. Baron claimed that she had once said that she hated me when, it's all said and done, all I ever wanted from her was love.
That's why I couldn't forgive her. Now, I will. I'll have to because, if I do, then maybe she'll live. She'll live and come back to me, as I've always wanted from her as well.
At the hospital, we all got out almost immediately and ran inside. Together, we yelled at the front desk's clerk to ask her where Ellie was and she told us. We got on the elevator and went up to the fourth floor, to room 588.
However, when we got in there, she wasn't nowhere to be found. Just Baron, who was sitting in a chair next to the empty bed. His body was limped and shaking, like he was crying in his hands – which turned out to be true.
Lillie took this as a bad sign and drowned herself in Zo's arms while he looked off in space. Cass was pissed, but I could easily see he tears peeking out of the ends of his eyes. He hit the wall, thankfully not leaving a hole in it, before he ran out of the room. By the time that I looked back at Zo, he was crying just as hard as Lillie was before.
I had a really bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, but I held myself together as I gently walked over to Baron. We hadn't talked or even looked at each other since our fight months ago. However, I needed answers and he held them all in the palm of his hands.
I placed a hand on his shoulder and he immediately flinched, then looked up at me with swollen bloodshot eyes from crying. "Ellie... Where is she?" I asked him, holding back.
He gulped and held his breath. I was awaited an answer that might never come...
• FINE. Cry. Go ahead. I won't stop you. fabandboujee_ said that she doesn't want to read this chapter, but - trust me - you will need to in order to understand the next one. Alright? And, as for BULLETBABEOMEGA - she says that she won't ever talk to me again if Ellie dies or is hurt, etc. But... Ellie is like Rick Grimes. She is the main character and can/will survive ANYTHING that comes her way. She is amazing and she is her own person. Think about that 👌🏻 Anyways... I shall update again tonight (most likely), BUT MAKE SURE TO COMMENT UR ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS ALL THE WAY ABOVE !!! Please & thank you 💚 All the love .xx •
