He brushed off my question with a cocky smirk and huge chuckle. "Hah!" he mocked, finding amusement in my previous question. "Whatever, Ellie!"
To that, I rolled my eyes and loudly huffed. I couldn't believe him right now. He kissed me and, now, he doesn't feel anything for me at all? That's Seth Rollins for you, everyone...
"Anyways," he sighed, suddenly waving me off, "I have to get ready, so would you leave? Please?"
Rolling my eyes, I jumped up and headed towards the door. When I held the door open, I could've sworn I heard him mutter out, "Thank You," but I could be wrong, of course.
Once I was out of his personal locker room and on my way to mine, I kept my head down and focused on my phone to where I was receiving endless text messages from Lillie.
Did you seriously just kiss Seth?! Omfg! Girl, text me back already! Ugh, I ship y'all SO HARD!! 😭 Text me, girlfriend!
I giggled to myself, reading her text messages. Before I could text back, I was being shoved violently backwards. I held my breath – and phone for its safety – as I noticed that I had been shoved by Baron Corbin, single-handedly known as The Lone Wolf.
I didn't say anything to him, just continued to hold my breath out of fear for the strange man. Based off of who he was on-screen, he wasn't very liked by anyone and, if that wasn't bad, he didn't get along with anyone whatsoever.
I didn't know him or his game. I didn't know who he really was and he can't tell who I really am, either. And, so, we didn't know each other was whatsoever. We were distant strangers.
"Sorry," I coughed out, suspiciously.
Just as I picked myself up to walk passed him, he grabbed my arm and tenderly pulled me back to him. Our eyes met. His cold, dark orbs following my warm, colorful ones.
"It's my fault," he began to apologize. He spoke so softly and quietly that I nearly had to be face to face with him to hear what he had to say. "I wasn't looking where I was going, so I apologize for that."
Noticing his grip still firmly on my shoulder, I looked from this to his face. I nodded and softly replied, "It's okay because I was looking down at my phone, anyways."
Alas, after burning a hole in his hand on my shoulder, he removed it and sighed, shaking his head in frustration. "It's been a long night, that's all," he muttered in confession. I couldn't believe that most of what's happened so far has happened. It's unexpected, to say the least. "My name's Baron Corbin, by the way. I don't think that we've met properly yet."
He placed his hand in between us and I couldn't believe it, either, to be honest. "I'm Scarlett Knight, but call me Ellie," I introduced myself, shaking his hand.
We exchanged a small smile, which sort of took me back. Nevertheless, the tingle that I felt when his hand touched mine was undeniably insane, to say the least.
"Ellie!" I heard somebody exclaimed from afar. I spun my head around and noticed Big Cass stomping his way over towards Baron and myself. "Hey, what is this?"
I realized that Baron and I were still holding hands, basically, so I quickly dropped my hand back to my side. "Uh, nothing," I chocked out, shrugging this whole thing off. "We just stopped to introduce ourselves, that's all."
Cass seemed to fuming at this point, which I was severely concerned about. Nevertheless, he huffed loudly and said, "Look, we need to go see Lillie and Zo. They're back at the hotel. Ready?"
I was so confused, but kept my cool around them. I nodded and responded, "Yeah, just give a sec. Please?"
To that, Cass nodded and walked down to the end of the hallway, keeping his eye on us like he's the parent at my first teenage date.
"Is he, like, your boyfriend or something?" Baron muttered out, smirking. He was taking what he said as a joke, which I ended up giggling to.
I shook my head and countered, "No, just a good friend, that's all."
He nodded his head to that, suddenly cracking a smile, which I perked up to. He seemed to be acting awkward, considering the fact that he started to bite down on his bottom lip suspiciously. "Maybe we'll see each other again? Talk, yeah?"
Whoa! I blushed, my cheeks firing up with red heat, because I just couldn't hold it back now. Was... Was Baron Corbin asking me out? Or, the very least, to hang out again? Wow!
With little to no thought at all going into it, I nodded and agreed: "Yeah, we'll talk again."
So, with that said, I turned on my heel and began to float over to Cass. Yet, I kept glancing back at Baron and he kept on smiling back at me.
"What was that all about?" Cass questioned of me as soon as I was right next to him.
I smiled to myself and shrugged, "Nothing. Nothing at all."

After visiting in with Lillie – and Enzo, who hasn't left her side ever since the incident – Cass offered to walk me back to my own hotel room, which I appreciated.
I offered him to come in with me and he did, with us walking in and sitting at the end of the bed together. "So, thanks for walking me here," I thanked him after a few minutes of silence. "You didn't have to, but thanks, anyway."
"I did," he chuckled, finding amusement in what I had said. "We're friends, after all."
"We are," I grinned and nodded, agreeing to. "Anyways, how are you and Carmella?"
His mouth hung ajar in disbelief and that made me instantly fall into confusion. "She's... fine," he coughed out, suspiciously.
I pulled my eyebrows in together. "Are you sure? Because I don't think that you are, to be honest."
Alas, he nodded and admitted: "She is, really, but with somebody else. We broke up a few days ago, but nobody really knows. Only her, me, and Zo. And, now, you, too."
My heart fell into the pit of my stomach, placing a hand over it in disbelief. "You're kidding. Why?"
He shrugged, seemingly now unhappy, and replied: "Well, we weren't happy anymore. We're always apart and it just wasn't working anymore. Y'know?"
I nodded and it began to fell silent between us. I felt like we were a great deal apart, yet we were sitting right beside each other.
Then, suddenly, I felt something on my leg and slowly focused my sight on Cass' huge hand draped over my right knee. It felt heavy, yet it was a nice feeling. All at once, he shoved himself onto me and we collided into a huge kiss.
His hands were all over me as I tried to fight off the sudden sensation that I was feeling towards Cass. His huge lips felt nice on mine and all along my neckline.
I felt guilty and it was already eating me alive, coming all back to Seth, Sasha, and Baron. So, I shoved him off of me before hightailing it to the bathroom and crying out of inner pain and agony.
• Yes or no? Let me know what u think of all this 😏🙃😉 •
