I try and open my mouth to talk but there's a gag in it. It taste nasty. I really hate the taste of cloth, who doesn't?

"Anna! No!" Lance yells. He's got a black eye and is leaning on a wall for stability.

"Aaaaaaange!"(Lance through the gag) I scream. "Er em gr!"(Let him go through gag) I yell at Terris. He just chuckles and leaps up to me. Terris grabs the rope that ties me to the chair. He kisses me on the forehead and releases the gag from my mouth.

"You know, you're so pretty in death situations." He whispers, stroking my cheek.

"Oh really? I wouldn't know!" I spit harshly.

"Don't touch her, Terris!" Lance yells from below.

"No! Lance!" I shout as Terris launches off the rope towards Lance. I can only watch and squirm helplessly. I can only watch as Terris slap, punch and kick Lance. I close my eyes so I don't have to.

"Stay out of this, Anna! You're mine not his! He is going to be punished for thinking otherwise!" Terris growls. Argh! I hate men sometimes.

A tear slips from my closed eye. I slides slower than a snail down my cheek. I feel Terris grab the rope above my head and take the tear. I open my eyes and give him the death glare. He licks the tear and smirks.

"You're disgusting!" I hiss. More tears gather in my eyes but I swallow them down. I look at Lance who's weakly laying on the ground.

"I know. Someday, you'll learn to love it as much as I love you." I just glare at him.

"I will never love you or your creepy habits." I spit.

"That's to bad although, I've always wanted a Phoenix as a pet. As soon a you change someone, Anna, they belong to you. They have to follow your every order and whine. Did you know that?" He asks as if he's got a plan. I look down at Lance who's looking at me. I can't stand to see him in pain like this. I look back at Terris.

"Fine. I'll do whatever you want on one condition. You don't hurt Lance anymore than you already have." I say sadly, admitting defeat.

"Deal. He'll hurt himself more by being without you for the rest of his petty merman days. Where as I will be feasting and celebrating. My first or is for you to kiss me, Anna. And not on the cheek." I silently gag but stick my word. I lean in and kiss him on the mouth like wished. He puts his hands on my waist like he think it'll last longer but I smack them off and stop the kiss.

"That's all I will give you." I say angrily. I should've known he would force me to kiss him. How could I be so unobservant!

"Fine." He hisses. "My next order, is for you to let me mark you, put you under my full control."

"Fine. Do as you wish to me." I say, turning my head. He brings his head to my neck and kisses it. I feel his teeth trace my skin and hand grab my head and arm. I wince. His grip on my arm is so tight I'm starting to lose feeling. He must've felt me wince because he loosens his grip a bit.

He continues kissing me until finally he sinks his fangs in. "Ouch." I mutter under my breath. This sends him into a frenzy.

"Anna! I'm sorry for this!" He says into my neck. He clamps harder on my neck and gulps down gulp after excrushiating gulp. I feel the blood leave my body. My heart doesn't have time to restore it all quick enough. I close my eyes and let death take me away. I feel weightless, like I'm flying. The entire world is black and there's no sound. I'm gone....
