A) At the hospital's burn center, Burny's right hand is Immersed in the whirlpool tub as the BURN TEAM does the initial wound cleansing. Dead tissue is excised. Then, cadaver skin is grafted onto Burny's wound and held in place with staples.

B) Nona is watching as a PHYSICAL THERAPIST applies an elastic wrap in a spiral pattern on the grafted area. Burny keeps looking at the door. Nona catches his eyes

NONA:     I've been doing some research on SHC.

Burny frowns. SHC? What are you talking about?

NONA:     SHC, you know...Spontaneous Human Combustion. It's when human beings suddenly burst into flames for no reason at all. Like your burning problem.

C) A DOCTOR performs Z-plasty surgical correction (i.e. interposing normal tissue in the line of the scar to lengthen it) on Burny's hand to prevent scar contracture...
