Still Liz's P.O.V
Another slow day at work,I know I have said this before but it really does seem even slower today. Gasforth hasn't had much going for it in the last decade but at least it's peaceful. I just miss Miami and my life there,not to mention a certain Lieutenant that I have a crush on. I had been thinking about Horatio alot today,I wonder if he misses me or that kiss that we shared some time ago. I hope to see him again one day.

I don't know for sure if or when I can return,for all I know Amanda Wroth could still be looking for me. Personally I hope she thinks I'm dead,but I doubt it. Standing behind the reception desk at Gasforth Police station,I sighed to myself as Grimm walked in talking to or more than likely trying to talk down to Fowler. For all that guy's so called skills he really is useless
"Any messages for me Constable Rossi?" Grimm asked me
"No Inspector Grimm" I say.

"Are you sure, I'm expecting a call from Scotland Yard?" Grimm asked
"I'm disinclined to acquiesce to your request." I tell him
"What?" Grimm asks confused
"It means no" a new voice answers for me,a voice I hadn't heard it a few months. I look past Derek to the door and see Horatio Caine himself
"Did you know he was coming here?" Raymond asks me
"No clue" I said as H walked over to the desk,I couldn't believe that he is here.

"Oi you can't just walk into my police station and confuse me" Grimm said
"Inspector Grimm this is Lieutenant Horatio Caine of the Miami Dade Police Department" Ray said
"You're American?" Grimm said almost in awe
"And your superior officer" Ray said smugly
"Is there anything I can get for you sir?" Grimm asked, Horatio looked at me then back at Grimm
"No thanks,I'm just here for Liz" he said
"Right, Raymond let's go" Grimm said
"Hang on a minute this is my police station" Ray said.

"FOWLER "Grimm shouts and the two of them leave threw the door that lead to the rest of the station, leaving just me and H.
"So this is where you have been hiding "Horatio said
"So you found my clues then?" I said
"With a little help from David Rossi and the Reid siblings " Horatio told me
"I can't believe you actually came here for me,you are here for me right?" I asked
"I have no other reason to be in England at the present " Horatio said
"I missed you"I said quietly but he still heard.

"I missed you too,the lab hasn't exactly been the same without "H said"The woman they got into help out, she doesn't like me"
"That's ridiculous "I said
"Not everyone is like you Liz" Horatio says
"Like me how?" I ask curiously
"Not everyone has a crush on me like you do or did" H explained
"Still do"I say blushing "I'm surprised my uncle didn't come with you?"
"He doesn't know I'm here,no one does"Horatio explained, walking around the desk to stand beside me. I turned to face him
"How exactly did you know I'm in this part of England,I could have been anywhere " I asked.

"I have ways and means that's all you need to know" Horatio told me
"That's maddening the unhelpful "I said
"I know"H said" What do you do here all day,from what I've been told this place is very quiet?"
"Not much,just sometimes walk around and talk to people "I said
"Well if you would like,you are welcome to come back to Miami" Horatio said
"Go back to Miami with you,I'd love you " I said excited"Though I have to finish my shift here first"
"So what do I do?" Horatio asked
"You can just keep me company "I said"Oh and stay away from Grimm, he's a suck up"

"Yeah I got that"Horatio said"Because you still like me,may I kiss you"
"You don't have to ask"I said" But since you are such a gentleman and you do have to ask,yes you can kiss me " H moved the last bit of space between the two of us and kissed me on the lips. It has been far to long since our first kiss,and this one just seemed so much better.
