After the Strauss incident we got a call from a concerned person about something illegal going on at the beach,and since just about everyone is busy I take Spencer with me to investigate
"Liz I want to say I'm sorry for the way Erin Strauss treated you" Spencer says to me
"Its okay Spencer,she is just a bully" I tell him.

"Despite having worked with Erin before, she still chose to not trust you" Spencer adds
"I think she mainly did it to annoy Horatio" I say
"I over heard Rossi talking to Hotch about Lt.Caine" Spencer says
"Was my name mentioned?" I ask,as I pull up at the beach
"Yes it was actually, how did you know?" Spencer asks curiously.

"It was probably David telling Aaron that I have a crush on H" I explained, as we exit the Hummer
"You have a crush on your boss,I didn't know that" Spencer admits
"I'm surprised your sister didn't tell you" I say,as we walk onto the beach
"No,she did mention that you have a crush on someone, but not who it is" Spencer says,before I can say anything more,their is a loud click.

"Oh no" I say
"What's wrong?" Spencer asks as there is a second click
"Spencer don't move" I say suddenly
"Why?"
"We are both stood on mines" I tell him
"Oh that's not good" Spencer says,at the moment my phone rings and its a unknown number
"Rossi" I say
"Hello Elizabeth, I see you walked onto my trap" a voice says.

"Who is this?" I ask
"I'm you,well I will be a better version of you.So be a good girl and die for me" the voice snarls before ending the call. Whilst I was on the phone, Spencer was on the phone also
"Don't worry Liz help is on the way" Spencer tells me.Ten minutes later help arrives in the form of Derek Morgan,Aaron Hotchner and David Rossi.Thankfully Morgan has experience with this sort of thing.

It takes a bit of time to free Spencer as Derek has to be careful with the mine,then next he moves onto my feet
"Oh this is bad" Morgan says
"What can be worse than being stood on a mine" Hotch asks
"A whole cluster of them" Morgan answers
"Call H" I say"He can help"

More time passed and then H arrives
"There is a single mine on the top,but there are more under that one" Morgan tells H
"How many more" Horatio asks
"Mabey 10" Morgan says
"Shit" David says.
"This is the last time I go to a beach without a metal detector" I say
"Is now the best time to joke?" Hotch asks me
"No point in panicking" I tell him.

"You four should leave,just in case" H tells the others
"I'm not leaving my niece" David argues
"Rossi I think you should listen to Lt Caine" Spencer says.Reluctantly the other four leave,I look to H
"Er H before you try to save me,I need to tell you something" I say
"Can it not wait" H asks
"Not really,incase we both die" I say.

"Go ahead" H says
"I know this is the wrong circumstances but,H I fancy you and..."before I can carry on with what I'm trying to say,H steps over to me being careful of where he stands and kisses me on the lips.'Talk about bad timing'i think as we kiss.H pulls back and looks down at me
"Is that what you wanted to say?"
"It was actually"

"I won't let you die,not today" H tells me,he gets down to my feet and begins to work on the mines at my feet.Whilst H is working my mind replayed our kiss'i just hope it won't be the last'
"OK Elizabeth very slowly remove your foot off the mine" H tells me,standing back up.I take my foot slowly off the mine and there is no explosion and I breath a sigh of relief
"You did it" I say happily, pulling H into a second and more passionate kiss.
