Fate is something you can't skip even a single part of it.It'll make you suffer,make you rot,make you happy sometimes even.

But whenever something wrong happens we say "That's my fate" but did we ever Thank our fate when it gives us something good.Nyaahh !!

It was a dark cell at the farthest corner of all the cells.Creepy dark,whay it should call !!! No animals would ever be able to survive there,human are out of talk... It was calm Untill a faint screeching sound was being heard from a distance,the more you went near the more the sound gets clearer. And when The sound gets clearer it's not hard to decipher that Someone was scratching on something concrete by something hard.

There stood a man facing his back to the entrance of the cell moving his hand slowly on the wall.The darkness was so creepy for people to even stand there for a minute but this man was all calm,scribbling something on the wall with don't know what in his hand.The silence & the darkness with the screeching sound was scary. Seeing his this calmness it feels he's been a dark child all his life,,Having darkness around was his birth right.

"Will you please stop this and talk to me !!!" A boy in early 30s said angrily to the girl who's writing something on her notepad.

"Cabir I got a clue !!" The girl said to the boy.

"Nandini it's been  5 years and he never came up to and you !!!!?? You ask for dates from the court,present your part of clues,descriptions but then Kya !!?? He won't fight,haar maanli hai usne.. Let things work in its own way !!" Cabir said.

"I won't let him slip into dark ,,I'll fight till the last the last breathe I take and usse bhi fight karna hoga Cabir..He's to response to each of my questions" Nandini said determine.

Hurt,helpless,failure!!

"Nandini the seminar you had to attend Kya huya uska!!?? Why didn't you go ?? You're playing with your career don't you understand !! Thik hai you fight for him but it doesn't mean you'll leave everything else around" Cabir said helplessly.

"Cabir I got a date in the court and bohot mushkil sey mila hai yeh date ,, so I was studying his case & Iss bar I'll be successful.." Nandini completely ignored Cabir's other question and Cabir sighed in disappointment.

Nandini stood up from bed and started getting ready in hurry when Cabir said "Not today Nandini!!! I won't let you go Untill you finish your food.. Look at you,,how unhealthy you look.I know everything but dear you need to take care of yourself if you want to fight & win !!!"

"I'll fight & I'll win Cabir and I'm healthy enough don't worry,I'll eat something on the way.I'll be back soon.Byee" Saying this Nandini rushed out of the room leaving a worried,helpless Cabir inside.

"Kya kar rahi Ho tum Nandini!! You spoiled your life just beacuse of getting him out and what is he doing !! Nothing simply nothing !! Tum zinda Ho just beacuse you've the last ray of hope k he'll cooperate but what if he won't.. then !!??? Na khati Ho thikse,na peeti ho thik sey,Na kisise milti ho !! Haar waqt koi kaise sirf ek hi subject ko leke baith sakta hai ... You're dying to make him alive Nandini Murthy!!" Cabir's self talk was disturbed when his phone rang and seeing the caller id he smiled a little as its his wife Navya,who's now in New York for her fashion show as she owns an international brand of clothes.It took a lot of energy for Cabini to send her there.

"Insanity is doing the same thing, over and over again, but expecting different results."

"Hello Nandini .. How're you today??" The jailor asked as he knows her for 5 years & adores her too.

"Am fine .. Aap kaise Ho?? How's he today??" She asked to which he replied "Same as before,,never talks to anyone,never responds,It's only you with whom he meets.He didn't have his lunch as usual... Tum khilati ho toh hi woh khata hai !!!"

Nandini smiled at him & took the key of the abnormally darkest cell.

He was scribbling still on the wall.

"Johnny johnny"

Hearing this voice he smiled a little and turned though it wasn't visible still she could feel his smile cause he used to smile on this antic of hers and used to play along with her. But now he doesn't even play along !! He turned and she could understand as the scribbling sound came to an halt.

"Manik..." Nandini called ever so lovingly and he could see his damsel,Ask me how!!?? Cause she's the star guiding the devil.She shines.

He came near her & looked at her intently when a shivering hand reached her face.He touched her face with just a finger.

Nandini switched the torch of her phone which is an indication for the guards to switch on the light of his cell.They did so & left.

Manik scrunched his nose and jerked off his hand from her face to cover his eyes as the sudden light after the darkness hits his eyelids.

Nandini held his hand and gradually removed it and now their face was visible to eachother.

"You didn't eat anything Manik..kyun?? Achha let it be,Main leke aayi hoon chalo muh kholo..." Nandini said to which Manik kept on looking at her which he does always when she comes to him.No words exchanged.Only Nandini used to talk but he never answered.

She was feeding him when put the stone from his hand down & rubbed his hand on his pant as if trying to clean it & held a morsel near her mouth.

Tears ran down down but she rubbed it off with a little smile & took the morsel in her mouth. He's still the same Manik who used to feed her when she acted cranky when it came to eat healthy foods and Manik used to bribe her to eat.He's the same who used to chant about hygiene whenever she used to touch her food without using sanitizer. He's still the same inside.

After finishing her food Nandini cleaned his face "Manik I got another date for us in the court.Please come with me please !!??" Hearing this his eyes became the same it was sometimes before when she wasn't here.He slowly stood up and turned towards the wall again picking up the stone.

"Manik kyun karte Ho aisa!!?? Don't you wanna come out?? Don't you wanna live ?? Aise kaab taak you'll keep quit !!??" Nandini's patience was betraying her.

And why won't it !!!???? It's been 5 years she's trying to bring him to the court but he never comes out of this cell even for once.Everytime people in the court humiliates her to no extent saying that she's took an already defeated case.A case of a mad man. The council warned her saying they'll cancel her licence for wasting courts precious time but she answered none,gulped down the insults,the humiliation and went home hoping that one day Manik will agree to come to the court & this hope of hers is still alive even after 5 years of constant rejection.

Was this the truth !!?? If you ask me then No.Its not the truth.They tried appointing many lawyers but everyone failed as he never let them meet .Thus,it's Nandini who studied and become a lawyer leaving her own passion.

He started scribbling again when Nandini got angry.She stood up and snatched the stone from his hand and threw it somewhere else when he just stared at her.

"Tum samajhte kyun Nei Manik!!! This is not your life.this is not the life you promised me.Tumne waada kiya tha Manik that we'll live together in our house,in eachothers arms ... Toh kyun yeh !!?? What have I done that you're punishing me like this!!?? It hurts Manik to see you like this !! Zindegi mein Saab kuch you can't control then why're you doing this to us !!!??" Nandini almost broke down but Manik stood numb still,,watching her intently & again turned facing his back towards her with a smile which only held hurt, sadness,pain that immense pain which is destroying them both bit by bit...
