"Wash your paws!" Mother cried as Nota and I came barreling into the dining hall. The pixies were already setting up dinner, and were equally horrified at the amount of dirt we brought inside.

     Nota and I snickered as we ran to our chambers to clean up.

     I sat in the tub of water, scrubbing my ears and polishing my talons. Pulling myself out, I dried off using a sheet of cloth. When that was all done, I went back into the hallway.

     Nota shut her door behind her as she also exited her chambers. We looked at each other for a moment, before bursting into laughter.

     I suppose we were in the giggly gossip phase.

     "I still can't believe Deltul's face when Surane pulled her helmet off." She chuckled.

     I grinned back. "Did you see how red he turned?"

     We cracked up again, laughing back towards the Dining Hall for dinner. Kintes and my mother were chatting, and he instantly pushed back from the table and stood up.

     "Kintes." I nodded in greeting, a little breathless.

     "Zepth." He returned a nod and smiled. Nota and I sat down on our own pillow. We were all about to dig in until Deltul rammed into the doorway, flinging the doors open suddenly.

     "Sorry I'm late!" He shouted, bolting into his own seat. Mother gave him a stern look before dismissing it.

     "Now that everyone is here," she cleared her throat and we all turned our attention towards the dragon at the head of the table. "I have some news."

     I swallowed my mouthful of chicken and listened with more interest.

     "It would seem a female dragon has entered Tagonia. She is not recognized by any of the dragons that live here. No one knows where she came from, including herself... she claims that she is Shina."

Deltul's drink exploded out of his nostrils, and I felt air cut off from my lungs as I choked on my next bite.

Nota and Kintes were clueless. "Who's Shina?"

"My youngest hatchling." Mother explained with sorrow. "She starved many years ago, when you all were young."

"So how is it possible?!" Deltul sputtered.

"It isn't." I firmly told him and Mother. "She is passed. Tagonia's healers proclaimed her dead for certain."

"Where is she now?" Nota asked. We all exchanged glances. It couldn't be her...

"She is in the medical cave, under care. She was discovered unconscious inside the Forest of Whum. When she came to, she claimed to have no memory of what occurred before blacking out, only her name." Mother sighed deeply. "I think we should see her. We would be able to tell if she's really Shina."

"Are your brains all full of worms?!" I slammed my paws on the table and came to my feet. "Shina could not be alive."

"At least come meet her." My brother quietly offered. I shot a glare at him. There would be no convinced them unless we did go.

With a huff, I sat back down. "Fine." I raised my eyebrows. "Only to convince you all wrong."
