"Can we keep her?" Dean asked, dumping ketchup all over his fries.
I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose. "She's not a pet Dean."
I glanced back over at our waitress. She was smiling with her co-workers and laughing. My eyes followed her as she meandered back over to our table, refilling my water and giving Dean another beer.
"Anything else I can get you boys?" She smiled warmly at us, clearly not put off by Lou and his rowdy gang members.
"Yeah. Do you think I could get another burger to go?" Dean took the last swig of his beer, setting it on the edge of the table.
She laughed, "Of course. I'll be right back."
We finished our food quickly and I tugged a few bills from my wallet, making sure to leave a generous tip.
Our waitress came back over, handing Dean his burger in a styrofoam box. I nodded my head in the direction of the diner door, and Dean got the memo. We slid out of the booth, waving a quick goodbye to our impressive waitress. As soon as we got outside Dean began blabbering about how amazing she was.
"That was awesome! Did you see that shot? She was bad ass in a Kill Bill sort of way."
I scoffed, sliding into the passenger side of the Impala, as Dean tossed his leftover food into the backseat, starting up Baby. "Yeah, it was pretty cool, but I think she's a little young for you Dean."
My brother only rolled his eyes at me, grumbling something indiscernible, as we backed out of the parking lot. I let out a sigh as Dean blasted the radio, AC/DC greeting my ears at what was surely an unsafe decibel. I just prayed this wasn't going to be a long case.

"Okay Rico have a good night. I'll see you tomorrow," I cheered closing up Joe's. I locked the doors and took the walk to my old Mustang, Beth. The chilly night air felt like pins and needles as it nipped at any exposed skin.
I walked up to Beth and wrenched open the door, quickly climbing in. I tossed my hobo bag on the seat next to me, listening with glee as my girl purred to life.
I was half way home when I noticed a car following me. It may have been my exhaustion from the double shift, or I was just being paranoid but I had to be sure. I turned the corner sharp, taking a different route home, and my fingers clenched around the steering wheel as I watched the car take the same turn. I couldn't let them know I was on to them. Whoever it may be.
I pulled into my driveway and got out of Beth, slamming the door. I stood on my small porch, pretending to fumble with my keys, hoping whoever was watching was going to make their move. I unlocked my door and slowly walked inside.
Sure enough the person came up behind me
"Make any sudden moves and I'll kill you." His hot breath fanned across the back of my neck.
"What do you want from me?" I asked, dropping my purse, and threw my hands in the air, acting scared.
"Word on the street is that you're Sue Ann's daughter," The man taunted. My gaze flickered up to my kitchen window, where I noticed fangs protruding from his mouth in our reflection. I stiffened, but quickly shrugged it off, maintaining my composure. "Is that word true?" The vampire shoved me forward, and spun me around. My eyes widened as I realized I was face to face with one of the vampire lackey's that had aided in killing my parents and most likely my brother as well.
"That depends. . ." I slipped out of my denim jacket, and began wrapping the cuffs of the sleeves around each fist.
"On what?" he sneered, as we began to circle each other.
"On who wants to know." I smiled at him devilishly, rushing towards the monster, and wrapping the back of my jacket around his neck, pulling tight and sprinting behind him. I began dragging him by the neck with my jacket until I reached my kitchen. I pulled the sleeves of my jacket taught with one hand, reaching into my kitchen cupboard with my left, and tugged one of my many machetes off the wall. "Who sent you?" I sighed, out of breath. I removed the jacket from around his neck, brandishing my machete in front of me.
"Wouldn't you like to know?" He smirked playfully.
"Yeah I'd love to know who hired you to fucking tail me, and break into my house." My jaw clenched, as I gripped the machete tighter.
"Katherine says hi," he muttered, smirking.
He sprung forward, slamming me back into my cupboard doors. I groaned, my machete falling from my grasp. It slid across the wood floor and into my living room. Dammit.
I glowered at the unruly man, punching him in the face when he grabbed me by the front of my shirt throwing me into the living room. I could just about reach the machete. I backed up trying to get to it. He stalked forward, punching me in the face, blood spewing from my nose. He licked his lips his breathing hitched.
"Oh you're making this too easy." He smirked again and brushed my hair out of my face, his God awful breath reaking of rot and dried blood.
"I'll send dear old daddy my deepest condolences," he hissed.
I grabbed the machete
"Yeah I'll do the same for Katherine," I spat.
Swinging the machete back, I watched as his eyes widened, before his head tumbled to the floor, his body collapsing as well.
I sat back against the wall, out of breath
"You're getting old," I sighed to myself, looking at the bloody machete, a pathetic smile crossing my face. If the lackey's knew where I was, then the others must as well, and Katherine was second in command, If she was here, I could get to the leader Charles. Maybe I could find peace for what happened to my family. I sighed, watching as the sun descended, the sky a blood orange. It was time to kick some ass.

"This is the place." Dean turned off the car and parked it, looking at the old beat up warehouse.
"Yeah this is where Jody says all the victims were last seen." I looked back down at the picture and then back at the building and got out of the car.
Dean opened the trunk handing me a machete and grabbing one for himself before closing the trunk. We crept up the warehouse, spotting an old mustang parked in front.
"Whoa look at this beauty." He smiled running his hands over the side of the mustang.
"Dean. . .vamps nest," I sighed nodding at the building.
"I'll talk with you later." He kissed his hand and place it on the mustang, walking away.
We tiptoed inside, machetes at the ready. I could hear voices and we ducked down behind some boxes watching and listening as to what was going on.
"You were so stupid coming in here alone," the vamp smirked, arrogance radiating from him. He was twirling a machete in his hands. I tried to get a better view to see who he was talking too.
"You were stupid sending only one vamp to my house," the feminine voice declared angrily.
"Can you see who he's talking too?" I whispered.
"No. We are gonna have to move closer to get a better look," Dean whispered. We moved closer to the vamp hiding behind some more boxes.
"Dean is that. . ." I violently tapped his shoulder, and he slapped my hand away/
"It's the waitress from that diner. Dude, I knew she was a bad-ass" He smirked to himself, before quickly regaining his composure. The vamp then left the room and we ran over, untying her.
"Diner boys! What the hell are you doing here? I knew you weren't real FBI agents. " She smiled at her witty remark.
"Yeah, well, I knew you couldn't just be a waitress." Dean smirked, shooting her a wink.
"Sam and Dean Winchester well this day just keeps getting better and better," the Vamp laughed clapping his hands together as he wandered back into the room.
"Now you bring more vamps," the waitress sighed, clearly fed up, rubbing her wrists from where she was tied up. She visibly paled as another vampire came out of the woodwork, like a termite.
"Katherine we meet again," she started twirling a small knife around in her hands.
"Olivia. How's your mother?" The vamp laughed, hissing at her.
"Better, now that she's about to be avenged." Olivia stabbed Katherine in the neck with the knife. She sliced the knife through her neck, ripping her head clean off.
"Dude, I think I'm in love," Dean sighed, smirking at me, and putting his vamp in a headlock, quickly separating its head from its body. I shook my head, my attention turning to the redheaded girl. I had a feeling this Olivia girl knew more than she was letting on, and there was no way in hell I was letting her go without finding out.
