Chapter 2
Lana's P.O.V
"Did you tweet it already?" I look up and scan the room, looking for the person who asked the question.
"No, I'm almost done with this song hold on." I tell my sister Chuck.
She is the one who usually helps me stay on track and makes sure I do all the things I'm suppose too, because if I have to be perfectly honest, I get distracted quite a lot.
"If you don't do it now you won't ever do it, c'mon just do it. Make all of your little fans have heart attacks," I smile.
I recently decided to have a couple of shows, nothing big. Just six shows. But I just know my fans will be excited and I have missed performing and seeing and meeting them at shows so it's really a win win for all of us.
"Fine, fine. I just finished up anyways," I say. I toss my notebook on the table and throw myself onto the bed, grabbing my phone from on top of my pillow to tweet.
'Having a couple of shows in a couple of places... xo' I quickly add the link before sending it out.
The favorites, retweets and replies come in almost automatically. How do they do that? Like I barely tweeted a second ago. I see the usual replies, 'I love you so much' , 'Queen' , 'Follow me!' , etc. Even though I am flattered by those compliments, I don't really fully believe them, I mean, I'm no Queen. I'm not even a celebrity.
"You tweeted?" Chuck asks.
"Yes. God, Chuckie, get off my case," I tease.
"Well can we go eat already? I'm starving." I nod in agreement.
"Sure. Where too?" I ask, slipping on my brown flats.
"Julio's! I feel like having pizza," my stomach growls at the thought. Julio really does make the best pizza in Los Angeles.
"Alright sure, pass me my keys and cardigan yeah?"
****
"So where are we stopping at first?" Chuck asks, food still in her mouth.
"El Rey. Then this little cute town called Artentia, then San Francisco, then Vegas, and finally..." I swallow, "New York New York!" I dramatically sing in a deep singing voice.
"Cool, I just got a new camera I wanna test out so it's like fate that you wanted to do a couple of shows." I chew on my pizza slowly before I start to reply.
"I-" I get caught off by a tap on my shoulder. I turn around and see a very shy looking girl. She's around... I don't know 15?
"Yes sweetie?" I ask.
"Lana can I take a picture with you? I'm sorry I know your eating but I'm already leaving and-"
"No problem baby." I cut her off. I look behind her and see what I assume is her mother, holding a gray camera in her hands. I get up and put my arm around her shoulder, smiling at the camera her 'mother' is holding up. She pushes the button and the flash goes off.
"Alright, one more..." I quickly kiss the little girls cheek before the flash goes off and I hear her giggle.
"Thank you so much Lana I love you so much I can't believe your here!" I smile at her.
"Yeah I'm starting to do some shows in a couple of weeks. Two actually, the first one here," I see her smile fade a bit, but not completely.
"I know, I didn't get to buy tickets. They sold out like in three minutes." she pouts. Awh, well I just can't leave her like that.
"Aw sweetie, here..." I grab my phone from my back pocket and open up twitter, "Put your username in and push follow. Then you can message me your email and I can send you tickets." the look on her face is priceless.
"Lana oh my god this is... ugh! Thank you so much!" she rambles. I don't really know what to say so I just smile. Her fangirling is adorable. She quickly types her username in and pushes follow once she finds her account.
"Thank you so much Lana! I love you," she hugs me tightly, and I return the gesture. "I love you too," when she pulls away I see her mother giving me a generous smile.
"Thank you so much Lana," her mother tells me.
"No problem." I smile.
"Oh!" the little girl goes around me and hugs Chuck, catching her completely off guard. "I love you too Chuck, you are like the best photographer ever!" I giggle and give one last wave to the girl and her mother as they exit the place.
"I'll see you in two weeks!" I yell.
"Okay!" she yells back. I sit back down and look at Chuck.
"I like her," I laugh.
"Just because she complimented you," I take a sip of my Pepsi.
"Maybe... but she wasn't wrong." she smiles. I throw my napkin at her and continue eating my pizza.
I really am excited for the shows, but the place I'm really looking forward to is Artenia. It's a place where good things happened to me, and it really is a cute little town. The shops there sell amazing clothes that I have to take Chuck to, and the people are friendly. It's just a good place with good memories, when I was getting back on track.
Hopefully more good things will happen there.
