After the firework show, we all started to walk out of the park with the rest of the exhausted people ready to go home. Lana and I had watched the remainder of the show with her head nuzzled on the crook between my shoulder and neck and my head resting on top of hers. There was no more hands creeping up my thigh and thank Christ for that. Why would she do that? That.. had made as confused as ever. The look on her face when I looked up at her.. that is what confused me the most. It was like she knew what she was doing, and she liked it. Enjoying it. I won't lie and say I didn't like it either, but I couldn't let her continue to do what it seemed like she was going to. It drove me mad just thinking about it.

I pull the blanket tighter around my body as I walk past the front entrance of the park, looking around for my party. Chuck is walking in front of Keegan, his arms around her waist as he plants kisses on her cheek. An effort to keep a ready to drop dead Chuck awake. He is now carrying the heavy, horrendous backpack Chuck was carrying the entire day and I can't help but find them adorable. I would usually gag at seeing a couple walk the way they are walking but they are just too cute for me to feel anything but happy and envious.

"I'm going to leave with Keegan, I'll see you you later at the room." Chuck says to Lana.

I whip out my phone and check the time. It is 11:46, where on earth are they going to go? I then think of the loo situation earlier and blush. Oh. You don't know for sure if that is what is actually going to happen, I remind myself. They could just be going for a drive, to eat, a stroll maybe. They could just plainly want to hang out with each other! But who am I to be thinking about this? It is none of my bloody business.

"Okay babe. Be careful." Chuck and Lana hug and then kiss each other on the cheek goodbye. Lana then turns to Keegan. "If anything happens to my sister, you're dead."

Keegan smiles. "Now come here."

He does as told and goes into Lana's already extended arms. She gives him a kiss in the cheek and I see Chuck making her way towards me.

"It was really fun hanging out with you Cara."

I extend my arms and hug Chuck, I think a little too hard, and smile as I close my eyes. What can I say? I'm a hugger. We pull apart and she smiles at me.

"I'll see you tomorrow." she smiles.

"Tomorrow?" I question. Her mouth opens a bit before answering, as if she wasn't aware that I did not know of tomorrow's plans.

"Shopping.. I thought we told you." Her face wears concern and confusion.

"Not that I remember," I say questionably. I honestly don't.

"Well tomorrow, shopping. You know now. I'll see you tomorrow." I smile at her and see Keegan walking towards me. Oh god.

"Cara it was really cool meeting you, I hope we'll see each other soon." He pulls me in for a hug and I am in utter shock. I mouth 'Oh my god' with wide eyes and see Chuck smiling at me.I am hugging Toby.

We let go moments later and I tell Keegan the same thing, meaning every single word. After our goodbyes I take the stuffed animals that Keegan and Chuck won except for a small Ralphy that Chuck seems to love. Lana takes the pack from Keegan, commenting how ridiculous the thing is. As Lana and I walk to the car, I continue to have the blanket wrapped around my body while carrying I am sure, over 10 stuffed animals. Lana offered to carry some but she is already struggling carrying the giant Ralphy she won for me and the backpack, carrying these small stuffed things is the least I can do.

"Lana did you have fun at the park?"

"Lana did you win those yourself?"

The paparazzi have been asking questions ever since we started walking towards the parking lot, like they were waiting for us- Lana. She is being polite, answering their questions, smiling, but I know she'd rather not have them here.

"Lana I think the car is over there," I gesture with my head. She looks over at me and looks at where my chin is pointing at and nods her head. We start to walk over to where I gestured and see her car parked right between two old looking cars. She takes the keys out of the pack and unlocks it, dumping the pack in the back seat afterwards. I open the back door and dump all the stuffs in the back and continue to wear the blanket. It's still cold.

I close the door and open the passenger side door, I guess I can sit up hear now. I hear all the paps saying goodbye to Lana and see Lana wave goodbye to them as she pulls out and starts to drive away.

"Thank god that's over," she mutters. She turns on the radio and I sink further into the seat, shivering.

"Are you cold?" she turns to me.

"N- no. I'm fine." I see her roll her eyes and start to push one of the buttons in her car. I instantly feel the warm air hit my skin and I sigh.

"There. Was that too much to ask for?"

I manage a stifled laugh and continue to rub my hands all over my body. I hear Lana laugh and I laugh again.

"No." I say.

We make the rest of the drive to my house in a comfortable silence. The only noise that went on in the car was the soft noise of music playing in the background. I look several times at Lana, sneaking so many glances that I lost count but I could always see her returning them after a while of me looking away. I couldn't help but smile once I knew she was looking away.

We pull up in front of the old white house that I have called home for over 8 years and I sigh. I don't want this night to end. Lana cuts the engine and I look over at her, fidgeting with the keys.

"Thank you, for tonight. So much. It was amazing." I say. She smiles and looks down at her hands once again.

"It was no problem. I had a great time," she nods her head.

A silence takes over for a bit. I look around the car while she looks down at her hands again, picking at her nails. How does she manage to do things with those long things? I decide to speak up, I don't want tonight to end awkwardly after how amazing it has been.

"I-" I am about to say, when she pulls my face to hers. I don't know what to do at first, but I know what is going on once I feel her big, soft lips on mine.
