Loki's pov

I was sitting in my cell, reading some books that Riley had given me, when a man appeared inside. He wore a black Midgardian suit and had black hair and a small beard.

" 'Ello, my name is Crowley. Now if you would kindly tell me where I am I would be much obliged."

"Your in a maximum security cell under the palace in Asgaurd. How did you get here?"

"I was looking for a girl, very important, goes by Riley."

"What do you want with her?" I felt very protective of her. She tried to help me when I found out I was a frost giant. It turned out we are both monsters.

" A little buisiness deal, regarding the rule of earth."

"Midgard? You can rule Midgard?" I was taken aback by the fact that his eyes flickered red.

"I am the King of Hell, all I need to rule earth is a little....persuasion for Miss Riley to help."

"So your the Demon king she talked about? First you want her as your body guard now you want to rule earth?"

"Oh so my reputation precedes me. Then you know she won't help me out of the goodness of her hearts. Yes, we'll I don't want the actual earth or the humans, I want the souls. You get me the girl, you rule the humans, I get the souls."

"How are we going to get out of here? How did you even get here?"

"To answer the second, I used a spell to track the guy who tried to take Earth. You see, you took some of my demons and they got killed because the spell trapped them in the meatsuit. I was going to take a few fingers from him, but now that you know the girl...all is forgiven. " He smiled and spread his arms showing he was unarmed.

"And the first?" This guy had come to torture me. He snapped and we were standing outside the cell.

"So what'll it be? Freedom and the Earth, or I put you back in the cell?"

"What do I need to do?"

"Lure the girl to earth, give her a good reason to come on my side, sit back, relax, and rule the show."

"I know just how to do that." He handed me a broken bone.

"Take this and plunge it into the cell wall when you are ready to come to earth. I knocked the guards out for an hour, hurry."

He vanished in front of my eyes. I changed into my green and gold robes and flashed over to Riley's house. The room was small with a tiny girl sleeping in a little bed. I tapped her shoulder.

"Uncli Loki...why you away so long?" She was half asleep still. I had been in jail for two months, before that I was gone for six.

"I went travelling little flower."

"Where? The same momma goes?"

"No, I went to Midgard." I lifted her up on my shoulders.

"Where we going?"

"We are surprising momma with a vacation. You gotta be quiet. We will get everything ready, then she will come and we will have a huge party."

"Yay! Can Doctoh John come?"

"Sure kiddo, we gotta keep it secret though. Understand?"

"Yeah. Shhh." She put a finger to her lips and giggled a little.

We popped out the apartment and I trashed her room.

"That will give her a clue to how to find us."

"Oooh. A treasure hunt!" She clapped her hands.

"How old are you now?" I strolled down the empty hall.

"I tuwned fouw yestewday." I felt her straighten with pride.

"Wow! Four years old! Why soon you'll be able to go to school."

"Uh huh, momma says I'll leawn to wead soon."
"Thats so cool!" She talked about her momma and her toys and everything else as we strolled down to the prison. I missed her babble so much.

"Why we here?"

"To get to the vacation spot."

"These people's are scawy. Unci pwotect me!" She held onto my head.

"Hold on tight." I plunged the bone into the wall and felt myself being transported.

We resurfaced in an office. A receptionist came in, she was pretty black hair, green eyes, tall.

"Mr. Crowley sends his apologies. He couldn't make your meeting. He told me to give you this and said go get some decent food." She held out a wallet. I took it and searched through it. Money, fake I.D., credit cards.

"Hey who's this?" She smiled at Hailey.

"My neice." I lifted her off my shoulders and set her down.

"We is planning a surpwize for mama." She smiled innocently.
"Why your face like that? Your eyes like mommas!"

"Really?" The Demon hadn't shown her eyes. "How can she see through the meatsuit? And who is her mother." She was staring daggers at me.

"But momma's eyes are puwple. Yours are black."

"Purple eyes?" She looked back to the child.

"Yeah! And weally pwetty wings."

"Who is she? What is she?"

"I'm not sure on the specifics, but Half something and half something else. Her name is Riley." I half lied. Knowing too much might get me killed here.

"Unci I hungwy." Hailey tugged on my robe.
"We better go. We'll be back later. Come on let's get some food." I held my hand out so she could grab it. And walked out of the building.

We are in New York, what irony. And only a block away from a great restaurant.

We were seated at a table where I could watch the exits easily.

"What can I get for you?"

"I'll have tea and the house special, and she will have apple juice and kids chicken strip meal."

"Ok be right back, here's a kids' menu and some crayons." The waitress walked away to get our meals.

"Color with me." The little blond handed me a green crayon.

"What should I color?"

"Mmm I dunno.... a Horsey!"

I set to drawing a green horse. I looked over to see that she was drawing two purple hearts.

"What's that?"I poked it she kept coloring.

"It's what's special about momma. Two hearts full of love, puwple for her eyes, and two wings to pwotect the loved ones in her hearts."

"Oh, that's very nice." I shaded in the pony thinking. What have I done? I shook those thoughts away. You will be king with this plan. I looked over at he bouncing blond hair and I just couldn't do it. I cant leave her with those monsters.

"Here you guys go." She came back with two plates

"Actually, can we have two to go boxes? Something just came up." She nodded and went to get them. Hailey was eating her chicken.

"Hey kiddo, we are gonna box up our food because I forgot something important about the surprise."

"Awww...ok." She put the chicken down and folded the drawings up.

The waitress came back with the boxes, we packed our lunch, paid and left. When we went through the door to the street, we ended up in another office building, this one was bigger and nicer than the demons.

"Hello Loki. I'm Michael. A little birdie told me that Riley is back on earth and you hold the key to her compliance."

"Cut to the chase."

"I'll offer you the same thing the demons are, but I'll make sure that all the earth bows to you. You will be 'god' to the humans. But we get the souls and the Weapon."

"So far I am still toward Crowley, since he brought me out of prison and all."

"Crowley is a demon, you can't trust them."

"Yeah and I've heard so much better about angels."

"Enough! How about this. You get the earth and we give you abilities. Powers of an angel...now that's a deal."

"No. I've seen what they do to people. How about I keep my powers, no harm comes to certain people, and I am granted with immortality."

"Deal. So what's your choice Angels or Demons?"
