——-A child born on the darkest of nights, to kingdom up in chaos, born into fire as the last Targaryen dragon drew its breath...Just a baby sent away far from her home to distance lands. With nothing but three dragon eggs and a birthright, heir to Dragonstone and Winterfell.

A lady.. She who lost everything, her crown, her mother, her father, her last relatives far away. She who has no wealth, no lands and no army, no family to protect her from the harms of the world.

A dragon raised by heathens.

Her new guardian, Ragnar Lothbrok believing Daenerys and Jon to be dead, became the father she needed. He kept his promise to protect her, instead of leaving her there and disobeying orders, he didn't. He took the little girl back with him just like Athelstan would have done. After all he was still reeling from losing him..

He loved her, she reminded him so much of Gyda.
Small yet fierce, determination burned in her eyes. A soul that was kind and humble. Lagertha saw the same, it took her while to accept the young girl but she became the mother Viserya so desperately needed.

Aslaug, however saw her as someone sent to destroy everything they held dear. Her visions showed her what would happened, death and destruction. A world set on fire, their world to be more precise...

"Whoever her family was, he must have loved them fiercely, for nothing Aslaug said could persuade him to send the girl away..."

Viserya wanted to interact with the others but she was never let far out of Ragnar's sight. She could of course play with her step brothers but there were limits. Ragnar had caught her once with a sword, play training with Björn, but instead of taking the sword away he let her continue her training with Björn as well as Lagertha which probably in the end, would save her life. Ragnar believed her to be blessing from the gods. A blessing that Athelstan had been praying for,

One that would lead their people and the Christians into peace. So he kept her on the path of Saxon royalty just like Beocca wanted. He tried to remember Athelstan's teachings about the way of his people and how they worked. Ragnar made Viserya see father Beocca each day for him to teach her how to read and write and of course the morals of being a princess. He also taught her about her people. The Targaryens..

Ragnar cared for her maybe more than his own flesh and blood. He often sat outside listening in on Viserya and Beocca talking away. In those moments he would think of Athelstan. He thought that if he could just get this right one last time, to help raise Viserya in the light of god and show her her path, keep her from going into the path of her grandfather and her mother as well as the Dane life. That maybe one day God would let him visit Athelstan one last time. And maybe he would..

But life won't be as it always is, First, her fathers death and then a war, a civil war between her brothers. She who strikes fear into those that oppose her bringing them to their knees. But that won't be enough to win the hearts and loyalty of the people. She must prove herself a worthy leader, even with limited support for she only trusted a few.

She'll have to be more than the mother of dragons. A queen born in foreign lands, not many people would be so accepting. She must earn their trust and become the ruler to lead the people into peace. She moves along to help reclaim lands taken from the people. Just like her mother Daenerys,
ruthless to her enemies but kind to her people.

A protecter of the weak and the good. Protecting those that can't protect themselves. Someone who will help restore the kingdom to its former glories or die in the process. And one day to become strong enough to reclaim her mother's throne back.

A Queen the people need..

But being the mothers of dragons also has its complications as well as blossoming into a woman. Struggles and fights will happen and Viserya will have to chose who she will fight with....

One for the good of the people or one who wants to kill them all...

Who could ask for more!  Honestly, I'm excited and scared at the same time haha, I've also noticed there's not a lot of books out there with Alfred as the love interest so why not.
