I ran all I could. I could hear the faint screams of the citizens, and I knew I could do nothing to help them. My parents were both somewhere else, fending off those creatures. I had heard many had called them by the common tongue. Orcs. Filthy blood-drinking orcs. Servants of the dark lord. the dark lord served my uncle, Morgoth. My dad, Alcagol had broken from his service when this kingdom was formed. he promised the valarne to never set a foot against my uncle. But his brother wasn't likewise. He had wanted to see his brother firstborn, his only child. But father had refused to let him enter the kingdom. Of course, had that angered Morgoth and he had decided to take the child's life in revenge. But he hadn't got so lucky to get the child in his claws. He was fuming and sent his puppet, Sauron to do his bidding. So yea, that's why the orcs are attacking our kingdom. 

I ran until my legs couldn't carry me any longer. I slumped down in the soft green grass. The moon had risen. It was bloody red, my people called it "Blood moon". It often raised when any blood had been spilled. I curled up, my knees against my chest. I started to sob. I was so deep in crying that I could not hear the sound of the elf coming closer to me. I only looked up when I felt a presence. I looked up at the other creature. It was an elf, a she-elf. She bore a gown of white linen. Her hair was golden, and she had fair blue eyes. Her eyes were kind. My breath hitched as I tried to speak between my sobs. "W-who a-are y-you?" I said, looking at the she-elf with reddened eyes. 

The woman elf smiled softly and knelt. She reached to touch my face. My mind screamed to get away, but my body somehow seemed in a trance. I let the Elleth stroke my wet face. "I'm Lady Galadriel, young one. Come, I will take you to a better place, a place with warm beds and soft blankets." Galadriel said as she wrapped her arms around me and lifted me gently. When we walked over to her horse, I copulød see that it was surandoed by many guards. 

Soon the lady got up on her horse, still with me in her arms. I felt the horse starting to run. I felt sleep consume me, and I let it come.
