A Team of My Own
-Y/n's POV-
I watched as Weiss slammed the door in my face, leaving me in the hallway. I was a bit shocked at first, but I guess it made sense. I would also be confused if someone came to my room saying they were an extra part of my team of four. Ozpin probably hasn't sent Ruby the message yet, so I just sat against the wall next to the door and waited. Suddenly, Team JNPR turned the corner and walked down the hallway.
"Oh, Hey Y/n. What're you doing here?" Jaune asked me, walking up to me with his team behind him.
"Oh... It's... a long story. Congrats on getting team leader by the way."
"Thank you." He smiled. "Oh, let me introduce you to my teammates. This is Pyrrha Nikos."
"Hello~." Pyrrha waved.
"Lie Ren." He continued.
"Greetings." Ren said with a quick bow.
"And this is..."
"...Nora Valkyrie!" She said for herself confidently.
"It's a pleasure to meet you all. Ah, let's just say I've been allowed by Ozpin to join team RWBY." I explained in a quick manner. They all then got a bit confused.
"Ah... say what now?" Jaune Scratched his head as I started explaining the situation further in a more detailed way.
-Meanwhile... Ruby's POV-
"Weiss, what did you do that for?!" I asked Weiss after seeing her slam the door on Y/n's face. She turned to me with a irritated look.
"You heard him, didn't you? He said he was a part of our team when that's clearly false."
"Yeah, but you could have at least given him the time to explain himself." Yang crossed her arms.
"He wouldn't have came here and told us that without a reason." Blake added.
"Don't you think it seems a bit odd?" Weiss asked before speaking again. "Why would he come here and say he's our teammate?"
Hearing her ask, Yang just shrugged with a smile.
"I'm more surprised that he's here. I thought that if you didn't grab a relic, you'd get booted out of the school."
"That should be right." Weiss nodded. Suddenly, my scroll started beeping and vibrating.
"You get a message, Ruby?" Yang looked over at me as well as everyone else.
"Yep! Hold on a sec." I pulled my scroll out and tapped on the message and started reading it to myself before Yang spoke up once more.
"What does it say?" She asked me. I started reading the message out loud to the team...
"Dear Miss Rose,
I would like to inform you and your team that Mr. L/n will be joining you from this point forward. Even though he lacked the required relic to be admitted into the school, I've decided to let him stay. I understand that this will make you a team of five, which is different than the usual four person team I've assigned you all to. He will be able to participate in the Vytal Festival as well as go on missions as a normal team would. He is a great fighter and I believe he will fit in well within your team. He claims to also know you and a couple of your teammates, so there will be some familiarity. I recommend you and your team treat him to a warm welcome as you will be with him throughout your time here at Beacon. I wish you all a wonderful rest of the evening.
Sincerely,
Your Headmaster,
Ozpin." I finished reading the message and put my scroll away. "So Y/n was right. He's our new teammate now I guess."
"Are you kidding me?!" Weiss was in shock. "We can't just have a team of five, and with a boy no less."
"I think having an extra teammate is cool. I'm glad it's Y/n, too; Makes it easier since we know him already." Yang nodded with a smile.
"That's true." Blake sat on one of the beds.
"Oh yeah, I forgot you told us that you met Y/n last night before us." I said to her.
"Are you three even listening to me?" Weiss asked, frustrated. Yang, Blake, and I went quiet for a bit to hear what she had to say. "There're several reasons why having him on our team is a bad idea."
"I don't see a problem with him. He seemed super nice and cool when we met him and fought with him during the entrance exam. Plus, his weapon is super neat." I shrugged at her complaint.
"I agree with Ruby. I also offered him my relic so he could be admitted to Beacon instead of me, but he turned it down just so I could stay here and be with my sister." Yang added to my reasoning.
"That's... not what I meant." Weiss sighed and held the bridge of her nose, irritated.
"Then what do you mean?"
"I mean the fact that he'll be staying in the same room as us. How can any of you trust him in that regard? Having a guy sleep in a room with four girls literally sounds like trouble. He could, I don't know, start messing with us in our sleep, or look through our clothes or something. He could also walk in on us while we're changing." Everyone went quiet again for a couple seconds. I thought about the things Weiss said and it made me feel kinda grossed out. We stood in silence, all of us thinking and looking at each other before Blake spoke up.
"She does kind of have a point." Blake looked from Weiss, to Yang and I.
"I....uh" I started to say something before I saw Yang perk a smile.
"I don't think that should be a problem."
"What? What do you mean? How is that not a problem?"
"First off, you gotta think about team JNPR. There're a mixed team, so they're gonna have to sleep in the same room together. I think they'll be okay with having a mixed dorm, and if they can be okay with it, then so can we. Second, I don't think Y/n would do anything. He doesn't seem like that type of guy; At least from what I've seen." Yang explained.
"Yeah, Yang. You do kinda have a point. I think Y/n's nice and he just doesn't seem like he'd do any of that weird stuff Weiss was talking about." I started kicking my foot on the floor a bit, embarrassed to talk about the topic.
"Well, what if he does, Ruby?" Weiss crossed her arms.
"Then we'll just beat him up and/or report him to Ozpin, Weiss. Simple as that." Yang also crossed her arms, reciprocating Weiss's frustration.
"I think that..... sounds fair enough." Weiss sighed once more in a relieving fashion.
"Alright then. That solves that. Now, I'm gonna go let him in." My sister said before walking over to the door.
-Back to the Hallway, Y/n's POV-
"... And so Ozpin let me stay and be a part of Team RWBY." I finished with my detailed explanation to Jaune.
"Wow, so you're going to be a team of five? That's definitely different."
"Yeah. Apparently, it's happened a couple times in the past, but it feels kinda cool though."
"I think it was really nice that you let her keep the relic instead of taking it." Pyrrha smiled at me.
"Thanks. Unfortunately, now I'm stuck out here until Ruby gets Ozpin's message about me joining their team." I chuckled a bit, saddened by my fate of loneliness.
"I wish we could stay out here longer, but it's getting somewhat late and we really need to get ready for bed. Classes do start tomorrow." Ren stated.
"Sadly, he's right. Sorry to cut it short. You have a good night, Y/n." Jaune unlocked his door and everyone walked in waving to me before so. Nora closed the door behind her, leaving in the hallway by myself. Suddenly, I heard the door next to me open. I saw Yang look left and right before spotting me sitting against the wall.
"Sup?" She greeted me.
"Yo." I said back.
"Sorry about Weiss. She was pretty shocked about you becoming our teammate. Wanna come in? It'd probably be better than sleeping out in the hallway." She offered, holding the door open.
"Not gonna lie, this carpet ain't half bad." I patted the hallway floor and chuckled. I got up, grabbing my stuff. "I was probably gonna doze off right here."
"Oh please." She giggled along with me as I entered the room. She closed the door as I looked around the place. It was a standard dorm room. Four beds, four worktables, several shelves, a small bookcase with a window above it, and a good sized bathroom. It was a pretty good space for a first year dorm.
"Welcome to Team RWBY: THE BEST TEAM EVER!!!" Ruby cheered happily, throwing her arms in the air.
"I'm glad to be here." I looked over to Weiss. "I don't think we've formally met yet. I'm Y/n L/n."
"I'm Weiss Schnee, heiress to the Schnee Dust Company." She boasted. I could tell her type. She was kind of snoody for being rich and in a successful business family.
"You mean the same company that bought out my mother's business?" I crossed my arms with an annoyed look on my face. Her eyes widened and she lost her words.
"I.. uh... Umm... "
"Yeah. Quite cold isn't it, Ice Queen?" I had a small smirk on my face as Ruby and Yang snickered to my joke. Blake wasn't paying much attention. She was reading a book on the bed. "It's whatever really, she was still successful in her clothing business after the dust business."
"You..." Weiss had an angry look on her face before sighing and facepalming. "I can already tell having you as a teammate is going to be a pain."
"Oh cheer up, Weiss. I think having him here is gonna be awesome!" Yang cheered.
"Yeah! Yang's right!" Ruby cheered along with her older sister.
"Thanks guys." Even with Weiss's boasting, and her complaints about me being here, I felt somewhat welcomed, and it felt good.
"Now, can we please at least set up some ground rules?" Weiss asked.
"Ground...Rules?" I was a bit confused and thought for a second before it hit me. "Oh..."
"We are all in agreement that if you do anything inappropriate while we sleep, we will beat you and report you to Ozpin." Weiss pointed at me as I held my hands up in defense.
"Okay jeez, I wasn't planning on doing anything anyway."
"Good." Weiss said before thinking of something else. "That also goes for changing. We'll be locking the door when we're changing so you can't walk in on us."
Yang then came up to me and placed her hand on my shoulder lightly.
"I'll be sure to leave the door unlocked then." She said quietly while giving me a sly smirk and a wink. My eyes widened a bit, hearing what she said. I giggled nervously before I felt her grip on my shoulder tighten to the point her knuckles turned white. I looked at her eyes and they were red, and that sly look she had was gone. It was replaced by a more serious, angry, and death-like stare. "That was a joke........ Knock."
She sounded super serious. Some chills went down my spine as I thought about what they could do to me if I didn't listen to them. I blinked and her eyes went back to their lilac color. I then realized I was outnumbered. Four girls to one guy. I could tell that my time in Beacon was gonna be hectic, having to be in a room with four girls. Yang walked back to one of the beds as Ruby asked her what she had said to me. She only replied saying that she trusted me. I immediately surrendered and raised my hand, sighing in the process.
"I promise on my life that I won't do anything inappropriate to any of you, whether you are sleeping or changing, for the rest of our time here at this Academy." I swore an oath to them that I wouldn't do anything wrong, not that I was going to do anything wrong anyways.
"Alright. That sums that up. I'll hold you to that." Weiss looked at me.
"Uh... So where is he gonna sleep? We only have four beds and I know this room is big, but I don't think it can hold another bed." Ruby pointed out.
"Oh! Don't worry about that, guys. I have a sleeping bag and a pillow. I'll take the floor. Since the beds are up against the wall with the window, I'll just sleep close to the desks to be out of your way. When I wake up, I can pack up my stuff so you can use the desks whenever you need during the day."
"You sure?" Ruby asked me with a concerned face. "I wouldn't feel happy with that as a team leader."
"Nah, it's no biggie. The bottom of the sleeping bag is padded so it'll feel like a mattress."
"Okay, I guess that settles that too. My team leader shrugged before Blake looked up from her book and started speaking.
"There's just one more thing we need to figure out."
"And what's that?" Yang asked.
"What about our team name? Since he's a part of our team, the name RWBY will be changed, right? How is that gonna work? His first initial won't fit into RWBY. RWBY_ won't work."
"We could just say Team RWBY and Y/n, or Team RWBY plus Y/n." Yang gave a couple suggestions.
"I guess that can work." I said with a nod.
"Well, Team. It's time for bed!" Ruby announced before speeding in the bathroom with her PJ's in hand. Everyone else went into the bathroom with their PJ's and I was left in the room. I quickly got my Pajamas on as fast as I could before they could come out. I then got my sleeping bag ready and hopped in, getting snug. The girls then came out wearing their sleepwear.
"Goodnight guys!" I said to them. They all said goodnight to me in their own ways before getting in their beds. We all soon fell asleep in the new room and as a new team.

-The Next Morning, Y/n's POV-
I slowly woke up to the sun's light beaming through the window. I shielded my eyes and sat up in my sleeping bag. My eyes took a bit to get fixed to the light. I stretched my arms and got up. I grabbed my school uniform and went into the bathroom to change. After getting dressed, I looked in the mirror.
"Damn, I look pretty good in this. I kinda like it." I then walked back into the room and sat on my sleeping bag, messing with my scroll. After a while, everyone started waking up. Ruby, then Yang, then Blake; However, Weiss was still asleep. I looked over to the three who were sitting up in their beds. I cupped my hands around my mouth and whispered, "Good morning."
Their hair.... My god... It was a disaster... They all had bed heads. Yang's was probably the worst. Her hair was everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh quietly. The three got up and went straight to the bathroom to get ready, leaving me and the sleeping heiress in the room together. I didn't really pay attention to her though. I just kept looking at my scroll. Soon, more like thirty minutes, Ruby, Yang, and Blake walked out of the bathroom all dressed up and fully awake. The girls walked over to me and sat next to me.
"So, how long have you been up?" Ruby asked.
"Ah, I don't know. Probably got up thirty minutes before you guys."
"I'm surprised Weiss is still asleep." Blake looked back at Weiss, who was still snug in her bed.
"Well, she needs her beauty sleep, I guess." I joked as everyone snickered. "I think we should give her a special alarm to wake her up."
"Special alarm?" Ruby tilted her head in question. I had a devilish smirk on my face. I reached into my bag and pulled out a shiny whistle. Everyone's eyes widened as I pulled out the object. Yang had a sly grin on her face. Ruby had stars in her eyes. I could tell she was up for it.
"So you're going to wake her up by blowing a whistle?" Blake asked.
"That's the plan. I used to use this thing back at Signal all the time to mess with people. They didn't call me the Prank Master for nothing." I shrugged.
"Wait, that was you?!" Yang looked at me with a shocked expression. "I've heard that name float around Signal a lot while I was there. That was you?"
"Yep. Certified, Professional Prank Master right here. You name it, I've most likely done it."
"Your work is impressive."
"Thank you, thank you very much. I definitely did put a lot of effort into the practice. Anywho, I believe we have an heiress to awaken." We all got up and walked over to her bed. "I believe you should do the honors, esteemed leader."
I held out the whistle to Ruby as she gasped and took it. She then sat on Weiss's bed. Yang, Blake, and I took a couple steps back. Weiss then fluttered her eyes open as she woke up slowly. She stretched her arms and yawned. Then.. it happened. Ruby leaned in and blew the whistle, startling Weiss. She then fell off the bed and onto the floor.
"Good morning, Team RWBY!!!" Ruby jumped off the bed. Weiss looked up at Ruby with an angry face.
"What in the world is wrong with you?"
"Now that you're awake, we can officially begin our first order of business." Ruby explained. Weiss got up and dusted herself off.
"Excuse me?" She asked, confused and irritated.
"Decorating!" Yang said, She held pillows, pamphlets, and other items.
"What?!"
"We still have to unpack." Blake held up a suitcase, which opened, spilling its contents. "Aaaand clean."
Weiss did not look happy. Ruby then blew the whistle again which knocked her back to the floor.
"Alright! Weiss, Blake, Yang, Y/n, and their fearless leader Ruby have begun their first mission!" Ruby raised her hand in the air. "Banzai!"
The rest of us, minus Weiss, followed in our leaders footsteps and did the same, raising our hands and shouting, Banzai. Weiss went into the bathroom and got dressed as the rest of us started decorating the place with our own stuff. She soon came out and helped along. I watched as they hung up a couple pictures, Ruby somehow put up and cut down the curtains to the window, and Blake suspiciously put a particular book of hers in the bookcase. I started putting posters near where my sleeping bag was. One of them was a Red vs Blue advertisement. I personally loved the show. It was funny, it had a good story, and it was just a good watch all around. The other poster was for a rock band named Trouble Clef (From RWBY Chibi). I loved their music, they had so many bangers. Yang walked over, noticing the posters.
"Woah! You like Trouble Clef too?" She grinned in excitement.
"Oh definitely! Their music is absolutely banger!"
"Their manager sure knows what he's doing."
"R. Wick is a master at creating their songs. I wonder what his real name is." I then started to ponder about the true identity of R. Wick. It was puzzling.
"I don't think he'll reveal it to the public any time soon." Yang shook her head.
Soon, everyone was done with their decorating and cleaning. We all stood at the door and looked at the room. It was all really nice, except.... The beds were all cramped together in the center of the floor.
"This... Isn't going to work." Weiss sighed.
"It is a bit cramped." Blake added.
"Maybe we should ditch some of our stuff..." Yang looked around at the extra things she could remove.
"Or we could ditched the beds... and replace them with bunk beds!!" Ruby cheered happily.
"Umm, Ruby, as absolutely killer as that sounds, I think that idea is super dangerous." I gave my insight to her outrageous idea. It did sound cool as hell though.
"I think it's super-awesome!" Yang cheered along.
"It does seem efficient."
"Well, I think we should put it to a vote!" Weiss crossed her arms.
"I think we just did." Everyone but Weiss was in on the idea. I couldn't say no. It sounded so cool. The girls went over to their beds and started piecing things together. It was so fast that I really didn't even see what they were actually doing until they finished. They came back to where I was standing. "Objective: Complete!"
I looked at the beds and my god was I in shock. Ruby's bed hung over Weiss's by ROPE! I was completely confused on how it was able to not fall. She had her own makeshift curtain to her bed to block out light. Yang's bed sat on BOOKS, which was being held by Blake's bed. I couldn't even believe what I was seeing. These girls were crazy.
"Alright! Our second order of business is...!" She jumped on her bed and it somehow was still hanging from the ceiling. She opened a binder on her lap and pulled out a pencil. "Classes... Now, we have a few classes together today. At Nine, we've got to be-"
"What?! Did you say Nine o'clock?" Weiss interrupted her.
"Umm..."
"It's Eight Fifty-Five, you dunce!" Weiss was the first one to run out of the room. I then quickly followed behind her. I looked behind me to see the rest of our team running behind us as well as all of Team JNPR.
...
...
...
We arrived in Professor Port's classroom just in time before class started. We all sat down together, breathing heavily after running. I looked and noticed that he had two cages set up at the other end of the classroom. Professor port had a dashing mustache and what looked to be a large axe-blunderbuss weapon on a plaque. He then started class.
"Monsters! Demons Prowlers of the night! Yes, the creatures of Grimm have many names, but I merely refer to them as prey! Ha-ha! Uhhhh And you shall too, upon graduating from this prestigious academy! Now, as I was saying: Vale, as well as the other three kingdoms, are safe havens in an otherwise treacherous world! Our planet is absolutely teeming with creatures that would love nothing more than to tear you to pieces! And that's where we come in. Huntsmen! Huntresses Individuals who have sworn to protect those who cannot protect themselves! From what, you ask? Why, the very world!" A random student raised his hand and yelled before sitting down, embarrassed. "That is what you are training to become. But first: A story. A tale of a young, handsome man Me! When I was a boy"
His words started to drag and all I could hear are blahs and blahs. I looked over to the rest of my team, who were paying attention, except for Ruby, who was doodling something on a piece of paper. I then decided to tune back into his story.
"...Despite the smell of cabbages, my grandfather was a wise man. Peter, he told me..."
He kept talking about his story.... About cabbages.. My god I have never felt so bored in a class about studying the creatures of Grimm. I looked over at Ruby again and saw that she was holding up the paper she was doodling on. It had a poorly drawn picture of Professor Port with stink lines coming from him and Professor Poop written underneath. I almost lost it. I almost laughed so damn loud. I tried my hardest not to laugh, but I starting snickering a bit. I heard Yang and Blake snickering along. Ruby started making weird faces too, which also caused us to laugh. Weiss looked a bit annoyed.
"In the end, the Beowolf was no match for my sheer tenacity, and I returned to my village with the beast in captivity and my head held high, celebrated as a hero!" Professor Port took a bow and Weiss just got more annoyed. "The moral of this story? A true huntsman must be honorable!"
Ruby started balancing an apple on a book with her pencil held by only her finger while making a silly face.
"A true Huntsman must be dependable!"
Ruby fell asleep.
"A true Huntsman must be strategic, well-educated, and wise!"
Ruby started picking her nose. Weiss looked like she was about to lose it.
"So, who among you believes themselves to be the embodiment of these traits?" The teacher asked amongst the students. I could tell Weiss was going to raise her hand and get her frustration out on one of the Grimm in the cages. I quickly raised my hand first. Weiss gasped and looked at me quickly, surprised I was able to get my hand up before her.
"Mind if I give it a shot, Professor?" I asked him.
"Ah, Mr. L/n, be my guest. Go and retrieve your weapon and we'll put you to the test. Haha! That Rhymed!" I got up from my desk and went to retrieve my weapon before returning to the classroom. Seeing the size of the cages, they looked like smaller Grimm. The cages were the same size so I assumed they contained the same Grimm as well. Port walked over to one of the cages holding his weapon ready to open the cage. "Mr. L/n, are you prepared?"
I got into a fighting stance.
"Yes, sir!" He then slashed the lock holding the cage down and a Boarbatusk broke down the cage's door. It squealed and charged at me. I jumped over it as it ran into the wall before turning around.
"Excellent dodge!"
"Y/n! Go for a spot where it has no armor!" Ruby shouted to me. I kind of ignored her and focused on the Grimm. It then curled up into a ball and spun really fast in place. I quickly revved Trailblazer three times, up to the max and got ready. It then charged at me with its spin-dash attack. I immediately countered it with the force of my blade. We stood there, clashing for a couple seconds. Sparks were flying from my sword as I tried to push it back.
"I see you both are interlocked in a battle of each other's strength. What will you do? Will you dodge successfully, or take the hit?" The teacher watched. I got angrier and activated my semblance, increasing the intensity of the flames, which increased the force of my sword. Then, I overpowered the Grimm, breaking its armor and sending it into the wall. I jumped over to it and slashed it several times before giving it a final stab through the stomach area. It went limp, and it was defeated. It then disappeared. I stood up straight, putting my weapon on my back. The class clapped as well as Professor Port. "Well done, Mr. L/n! I am really impressed with your strength. You showed the class that it isn't always about technique and when to strike. Sometimes it takes a man to brute your way through a Grimm, Ha-ha! Good work. You may take your seat."
"Thank you." I said before heading back to my seat.
"Now, anyone else wish to prove themselves?" The professor asked.
"I do, Sir!" Weiss raised her hand angrily.
"Well, then, Let's find out! Step forward, and face your opponent!" Weiss went to grab her weapon and came back in her normal clothing. I was surprised cause I did my fight in my Academy attire. Was I supposed to change? Shit.
"Go, Weiss!" Yang cheered.
"Fight well!" Blake waved a small flag that read RWBY.
"Weiss and Dice'em!"
"Yeah, represent team RWBY!"
"Ruby! I'm trying to focus!" Weiss looked over at our team leader before turning back to the cage.
"Alright! Let the match... Begin!" The professor swung down and broke the lock, dropping the cage door and revealing the Boarbatusk inside, which immediately charged at Weiss. She used her weapon to deflect its attack and roll to the side, readying herself for the next move. "Ha-ha! Wasn't expecting that, were you?"
"Hang in there, Weiss!"
Weiss charged at the Grimm, attacking it, only for her sword to get trapped between the tusks.
"Bold, new approach. I like it!"
"Come on, Weiss, show it who's boss!"
Weiss turned to glare at Ruby, only for the Grimm to disarm her of her weapon and knock her back.
"Oh-ho! Now what will you do without your weapon?" Port asked her. She looked up and rolled out of the way of another attack. She rushed to her sword and grabbed it.
"Weiss! Go for its belly! There's no armor underneath-"
"Stop telling me what to do!" Weiss yelled at Ruby angrily. I looked over to Ruby, who looked hurt at Weiss's rebuttal. The Boarbatusk leaped into the air and rolled into a ball, spinning rabidly in the air and landing on the ground, consistently gaining speed until it launched itself at Weiss. It came closer and closer, but Weiss activated her semblance and blocked the roll, leaping up into another part of her semblance. She then lunged at the Grimm from the air, stabbing it through the stomach. It squealed and fell silent while Weiss gasped in relief.
"Bravo! Bra-vo! It appears we are indeed in the presence of a true Huntress-in-training! I'm afraid that's all the time we have for today. Be sure to cover the assigned readings, and stay vigilant! Class dismissed!"
We all got up as Weiss glared at Ruby and turned away, walking hurriedly to the exit past us.
"Sheesh, what's with her?" Jaune asked.
"I think I know..." I rested my hand on his shoulder before going to the front of the classroom to draw accurate images of each of the Grimm that were depicted on the wall. The rest of my team went back to the dorm. After finishing, I went out into the hallway where Ruby stood, looking at Weiss with a smile. "Hey, Ruby, you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." She turned to me with a bright smile.
"Alright then. I'll see you in the dorm."
"Kay." I then went back to the dorm. I walked up to the door and knocked.
"Come in!" I heard Yang yell from the inside. I opened the door and walked in, closing it behind me. Yang was sitting on her bed, looking at her scroll while Blake was reading a book, as per usual. "Thanks for knocking."
"It's no problem, I guess."
"Is Ruby good?" She asked me.
"Yeah, she's fine."
"Good." We then went about our day, going to the classes we shared together.

-Later That Night, Y/n's POV-
I was in my sleeping bag, looking at my scroll. The first day of classes was a pain. New shit to learn and the Weiss and Ruby brawl. I was tired, but I couldn't help but look up stuff on my scroll. Weiss was gone, Yang and Blake were asleep, and the last time I checked, Ruby was studying and doing homework. Suddenly, the door opened and Weiss walked in, going over to Ruby's bed. She then nudged her, waking the sleeping Ruby. They whispered to each other a bit before Weiss went out of the room. She soon came back with a mug of coffee, which she handed to Ruby. She then walked back over to the door. I was able to hear her say that she always wanted bunk beds as a kid, which made me smile. I could tell things were resolved between them. I put my scroll away, before turning over in my sleeping bag.
"Maybe this team won't be so hectic after all." I then closed my eyes and went to sleep.
