Have you ever been so scared that it was hard to believe it was true well if you have, maybe you can relate with me. My name is Luna. It all started right when the school bell rang to go home. I gathered my stuff and was heading out the door when I felt a gentle tap. So I turned my head and saw Alice who had a cheeky grin on her face. Alice was my BFF. Alice said smirking "I dare you to go on this new path I saw when I was coming to school". "Oh come on no" I groaned. "I dare you" Alice said with the biggest grin on her face. "Fine" I whined. I headed out the door. The moment I stepped outside everything froze except my hair which was swaying in the wind. The feeling I had was a bad one. I shivered feeling a cold present on my shoulder. I turned around and I could barely see a thing. Wanting to turn back but then i remembered the face she made. The face she made almost scared me. I did it anyway. I walked just one sep in the woods already wanting to go my regular way. Something was wrong with the place. I got a little farther in the woods when all the trees covered the moon. I could not see anything so I took out my phone and I was going to ring Alice but there was no connection. I decided to use my phone as a flashlight. I started to feel like this was a bad idea. As if I was being watched. It scared me more. I knew even if Alice got mad at me it would be fine so i turned back and started walking until I realised I was lost. The trees started to look like monsters watching me coming for me. They swayed back and forth. That's when I heard a noise like somebody walking through the bushes. My eyes grew bigger and wider. I turned around and nobody was there. My life flashed before my eyes after around ten minutes later I came across a middle aged man sitting on a log next to a hut. I was scared to ask for help but yet I was more scared of the woods. I decided to go up and ask him. "Hello?" I said he turned around with a smile on his face which seemed to start to get bigger into the biggest grin. Not in the best way though. That reminded me of the face Alice made to me earlier. I shivered. And then the words just felt out of my mouth. "Do you know how to get out of the woods?" I mumbled. "Of course dear" he said smiling "This way child". I quietly followed him. But instead of getting lighter it started to get darker. I carefully asked "are you sure we are going the right way?" "yes" he said then he said something else i could not figure out he mumbled it as if he did not want me to hear it. Then finally we arrived at a big area covered in dirt. All of a sudden he just stopped. "What's this?" I questioned him and he said in a worried tone "nothing". Out of nowhere he grabbed me very tight and pulled me over to a pit and pinned me into the very deep pit and chucked a lot dirt on me then it just turned black. Back at home my mom was cooking when she realised i was supposed to be here an hour ago but did not return. My mom decided to text me and ask where i have been but i did not respond so she walked to school with me dog Chubby. My dog smelled me near so they walked in the path he sniffed where I had walked until he got to the dirt pit he smelled me under the ground and started to dig me up. My mom looked at me and saw I was still breathing. My mom said I'm probably unconscious. All of a sudden my dog started to bark louder than ever and we figured out the person who buried me did it to hundreds more children but it was too late for them. Now i am twenty years old and now i know that my so called friend alice was related to that man and wanted me to go to the path so that could happen which is one of the reason we moved to california that man was arrested and never seen again until now he was known to have escaped and done the something to another child in scotland yet this person did not survive but they cant catch him. He is one the run. So children watch your back and NEVER trust strangers.
